      Cheers Pal. I need to buy another as I wrote off the body in a running video. ruclips.net/video/e5cCEF6Zl9U/видео.html There are a few of the M06 chassis That I would like. One is the Tamiya VW Karmann Ghia I think that looks like an awesome thing.

      @@FullOnRC The Karman Ghia's stunning, isn't it?
      I only found out today that they do a Karman Ghia, so it's funny that you should mention it.
      I've spent today applying stickers to a Citroën 2CV body given to me by Peter Smith of CW01 Creations. I'm off to watch the video whose link you just gave me : )

      @@Del350K4 Wouls love a 2cv but I can not get past that its on the M05 which is front wheels drive and The car, I believe was rear wheel drive. What color are you doing yours? Yerhh The Karman is a great looking bodyshell. You can get the body pretty easy on ebay too. I want another M06 so I don't mind getting the full kit. Prob do it box art blue too. Think it looks nice dark blue.

    • @Del350K4
      @Del350K4 2 года назад

      @@FullOnRC No, man, you can add the 2CV to your future shopping list with a clear conscience as the full-size is FWD. Citroën pioneered FWD in the 1930s with their gorgeous and shapely Traction Avant.
      I'm doing mine in green and white at the suggestion of the guy who donated the kit to my channel. I've given it a stripey "cloth" roof.
      I agree that the Tamiya Karman Ghia body does look superb in the box art dark blue!

    Hi Paul, what a great looking Beetle. So glad you were able to revise those great childhood memories of the car, that your father had in South Africa. It is a chassis that is on my list to get, love the Beetle looks and the VW heritage that goes with it. Tamiya kits have always been full of soul, I remember my first Tamiya, I saved all my paper round money and purchased the Hornet back in 1984, I was 13😊. Love Tamiya’s every since. Looking forward to seeing the running video. Take care and keep well. 😉😊

      Nice. That is a lovely bodyshell. Would like a Porsche at some point. i nearly pulled the trigger on a Tamiya Porsche 934 RSR Turbo 1976 Vaillant 45th Anniversary this afternoon but decided against it. Have the Tamiya 51336 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup VIP 2007 Body Parts Set in my wish list just need a chassis I like to put it in. Ordered a TA02 to make into a project. Looking forward to it.

    Very nice! - I am doing a M06 build myself at the moment, the Alfa. My first one. I have two questions. 1. Why did you pick the long wheelbase? The manual has no info on pros/cons and/or consequences of picking either. It just states that S/M/L wheelbase they exist. The "standard" build of the Alfa is the short version as I understand it. -- 2. The kit comes with a small tube of grease but you put more grease in the diff alone than there is in the entire tube. It is rather confusing that they would supply grease if it is not even remotely enough?

    • @FullOnRC
      @FullOnRC  2 года назад +1

      Hi and welcome to the channel. I used the wheel base I used as that is what is needed for the bodyshell. Different bodyshells have different wheel bases and it is changed by adding the various sections. I use my own greese just as a personal preference. I like to pack my diffs with greese as it stiffens them up slightly. I have always used the Marine greese and had no problems. The Alfa is a lovely looking bodyshell. Good luck with it. I have since change this Beetle into a Escort that also sits at the same wheels base. The Alfa has 225mm wheel base, and the Escort and Beetle have 239mm.

    Hello Im just in the process of building an M06 beetle and have got to the part where I fit the servo and have noticed that in with the two sticky pads that hold down the receiver and ESC there’s also a Square bit of sticky back foil and was just wondering if you knew where it goes I’ve had a few looks over the manual and can’t see where it goes any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

    • @FullOnRC
      @FullOnRC  2 года назад

      It goes over the servo wire that goes across the battery bay. If you have wired it so it don't go across don't worry. It is to stop interference from the battery laying over the wire when in place.

      So sorry to bother you again mate I have one more question for you also is the M06 Supposed to have tow in on the rear wheels I’ve heard it helps with the handling and i also heard the toe in causes the rear wheels to rub on the rear arches so I’ve swapped over the rear uprights and that straighten them out perfectly but Then I’ve heard that that messes with the handling but I thought that was why you get the softer compound grippy tires on the rear and the harder not so grippy tires on the front hope that makes sense is the M06 very tail happy that’s what I read somewhere and that’s why it has the toe in on the rear but I really really don’t like the look of it any help would be really appreciated thanks mate lee
