GM lishis are always interesting aren’t they? Very good pick! I’ve been in that B111 scenario many times and always had an issue with the read. Great tip to pick in other direction! Thanks!! Happy 4th BLP
Took last night off. I’ll be working the rest of the weekend lol hopefully it’s 💰
In the wild on a paid service call this why we just get the code from NASTF. As I type this in So. FL. it's pouring out. Unless a locks been changed NASTF is the way to go for us and our lost key price has paying for the code built in. Doing this outside in the weather be hot sun or rain with the lock in the door with the customer breathing down your neck is very different situation plus other calls holding. Love the video and tips though very appreciative.
I’m in Florida too. I refuse to pay money to nastf. But I too buy codes occasionally when the weather is crappy. I also use these for lockouts too. I don’t like wedging peoples doors out.
@@BoredLockpicker We also pay the 800 numbers too for codes. I hate paying them trust me but we run 80 to 150 calls per week and the customer pays. We are all about getting in an out and onto the next call. Some people balk at our price and find the $100 guy but we still have people waiting on us. There's a locksmith in Hollywood that does all the Euro's that nobody else does. He has a shop with a bay in the back. Everything gets towed into him period. He can charge what he wants as most locksmiths aren't equipped or have the knowledge that he has. Repair shops also bring him car modules that have nothing to do with locksmithing to be programmed. I could really see myself doing something like that if I didn't have my current business.
@@scotts4125 You don't have to justify what works for you. Keep on keeping on and continued blessings!
@@BoredLockpicker Right there with ya Brutha! and I'm in Cali. Codes won't help you if the ignition has been changed and you end up making a glorified jiggler for the ignition.
How do you pull a chevy door lock cylinder at the junkyard? Do you have to pull the door panel? Thanks for the videos!
B111 yes. Most hu100 no.
I'm curious as to the inputs you use when using LockCodes to get the final two cuts. Every time I use the option B106, input the codes in sequence, and almost every time it tells me there's no sequence. I know my codes are correct too because the key i cut with 8 cuts works for the doors... Some help would be appreciated
Those locks are sloppy. Just because it works the door doesn’t mean it’s right. If you’re selecting the right code series and you don’t get back a valid code then your decode of the door isn’t right
@@BoredLockpicker and what do you do to mitigate/aid with that sir?
I’ve been having trouble with HU100 reading correctly. You can’t push to the end of the spring force and read. You have to read very gently at the lowest number.
Try turning it only a degree or 2
How can i find bitting? Which option or device you used for finding bittinor key code?
Lishi tool
The Dolphin does have the capability of finding a code with partial bitting, is there a reason that you don't just use that? Just curious.
Servers doesn’t always work
@@BoredLockpickerIt always work for me, no server issues at all for the past 5 years, IM608 on the other hand, well you knowb😅
I’ve never used this option either. I’ll try it next time.
Where i find this option to find bitting instant of using dolphine!
I hate those warded locks what a pain
Definitely not my favorite.
