Hi Andrew, the camera and sound are very acceptable. The camera was actually very good as I could see your shiny face and still see the shelves in the back. Nice little laptop and glad the screen is less reflective. I would think that Samsung will maybe release a bios upgrade for the performance issue. Or maybe the power profile is too conservative out of the box.

I'm disappointed that the reduced the port versatility so drastically, the previous year's Pro had it in spades. The only reason I didn't keep my GBP 13 inch was the OLED screen, I just don't feel safe leaving it on for hours while I attend to other things, or overnight. I would love to see the GBP from last year, with a low power IPS display, It would be an amazing laptop. Also, better speakers, what is Samsung thinking?

I got mine (Pro 360, 15.6, 16gb RAM, 1tb SSD in burgundy) on Friday, and I'm super impressed so far. I had to return my MSI Summit E16 because of bluetooth issues (and I was really unhappy, having paid $2000 for it). For me, this one was way better, but I know I got a defective unit from MSI. The 60hz doesn't bother me at all, it's still very smooth. The S-pen writes really nicely as well.

Also, I switched the audio so Dolby Atmos is on, and it's one of the loudest clearest laptops I've heard and used. My HP Spectre x360 and Acer Nitro are pathetically quiet in comparison.
It really depends what you'll be using a laptop for. 4K editing or gaming on the GB2? Probably not. Anything else, probably fine. It's a good value laptop for those that can't afford a MacBook or top spec device.

I looked up more Geekbench scores for the new Galaxy Book2 Pro series. It seems the 13" GB2P360 (NP930QED) has the lowest multi-core score of around 5500-7500. The 15" Book2 Pro (NP950XED) has multi-core score of around 7500-8500, while the 15" Book2 Pro 360 (NP950QED) has multi-core score of around 8200-9200. All with the same i7-1260P CPU. Well this review is about galaxy book 2 pro 360 15" but when he was talking about sound he mentioned it's 4W speakers, the 4W are for 13" and for 15" you get 5W. Also if you compare macbook pro speakers they are also good but you can see it's on top side which means it has compromised with num pad.. if you are excel user or office user then having num pad is highly essential with much of convenience. Well 5w speakers that 15" has needs editing of review here. 5W in the 2022 model are much better than last year 4W. Let me know your thoughts.. I guess heating issues if any 12th gen windows laptops have should eventually get disappear. I believe new os is still not optimized to take the advantage of e cores for the new 12th gen. This laptop is certainly for non gamers. I believe gamers should ideally consider a good desktop or a Xbox or ps5.

I got 360 Pro last year, great laptop but the body being plastic, it does creak a bit so glad to hear this is all metal, maybe it'll be better.
The screen is almost useless in bright sunlight, way too reflective, you should take v2's outside, more realistic test then just indoors with all those lights, but sounds promising that v2's screen is less reflective according to your initial testing, although the lack of maybe 2k screen is shocking from Samsung!
I know on the 15 inch, you get a second m2 slot for expansion which I believe is still present on v2, so that's a bonus.

Great unboxing! I'm a bit worried about the battery life, especially with the Alderlake P, yes it has a large-ish battery size, but with AMD bringing Rembrandt with insane battery life, it's a bit worrying. The camera and microphones seemed very good, but as for the audio, I'd like to hear another laptops for the baseline, as it's a bit hard to hear the difference between others. I think the lack of performance is due to samsung cramming in a P series processor, which is essencially a downclocked and better binned for power use H series, into a form factor that more suites a U series processor, but was forced to after a lack of performance and wishing to streamline production with the 15inch, which "probably" has more cooling. I would have also liked to see an AMD version of the laptop as well, as I personally value graphics quite a bit, and after LTT proved that at lower wattages, AMD (haha) takes the performance crown.

I don't understand who the target audience is supposed to be for underperforming ultra-thin laptops. So just a handful of Chrome tabs is all they need? A lot of metrics are subjective -- especially depending on one's needs -- and I understand how certain consumer brackets don't care about anything as long as they're purchasing a Samsung, MacBook, XPS-branded laptop etc., but the 16:9 ratio just adds insult to injury. I can't go for a Samsung laptop as long as they keep making gorgeous but unnecessarily thin laptops that subsequently forces performance throttling.

The Form Factor and combination of KEY features is ALMOST there.
    * Price:Performance with CPU/RAM/Disk to $$$ (investment) - ability to run most (useful software)
    * Extremely portable weight ~1Kg or less
    * Superior screen (brightness, ratio etc)
    * 2-in-1 Touch Screen + Pen Multimodal input along with classic laptop type/touchpad
But it sounds like Performance and battery are not quite there in this model? Also would like 5G LTE option. Finally at 1Kg in portrait it is too heavy. I'd like the really good keyboard but able to detach and a lighter screen combo.
Anyhow, this is just another very positive step on that path towards iterating towards an optimal 2-in-1 form factor design and suite of complete and complementary features (eg weight, screen, battery etc).
I do really like the overall design of these models by Samsung but as above just missing in a few areas imho.

Samsung had a great deal last year on the 13" i7, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD for $940.49 and I got a Rose Gold Galaxy Watch 4 for my wife for only $37.49 as a bundle deal... Which included a $110 trade in deal of my old Note 8 which was just taking up room in my sock drawer...
    I have a Dell 9370 2-in-1 4K, i7 (10th gen) w/16GB RAM, so I was thinking the Pro Book 360 could be its replacement...
I was so terribly mistaken on so many different levels... I was pretty shocked.
The Dell is SO superior to the PB 360 in almost everything except weight, keyboard backlight brightness and S-Pen...
The 16 x10 screen on the Dell makes for a huge difference, that giant bezel on the chin of the 16 x9 PB 360, just is so disappointing. Plus the brightness is noticeably dimmer on the PB 360. Also, the lower screen resolution is VERY noticeable to me as compared to the Dell's and even my S7+.
The finish on the PB 360 (Mystic Navy) is the worst fingerprint magnet I've ever seen, after an hour the finish looked like a cloudy mess with only light handling.
The webcam is so laughably bad it's comical. The Dell's isn't great either but it's way better than the PB 360's. It's great that Samsung updated the webcam to 1080p this year.
The S-Pen is fantastic. As an S7+ user and a 30+ year Graphic Artist, I honestly think it's the best stylus on any platform. The Dell's pen is good, just not as GREAT as the S-Pen.
I ended up getting a return on the PB 360, which brought my wife's watch price back up to $200 and killed my trade-in discount... Which was understandable.
If Samsung could make some adjustments to the screen size ratio and make it the same resolution as the S7+ (and 120 Hz) and put some sort of coating of the body to reduce fingerprints, I would definitely consider buying it again.
    Thanks for reading.

They kept sending me links to fixes, not seeming to understand that my problem was that I could not get onto the internet. Finally, after several hours, the machine just completely froze up and they told me I'd have to send it in for repairs. After all of that, I told them I wanted a refund as I no longer had any faith in their machine or their company. They said they only issue refunds within 15 days of taking delivery. They did not care that they sold me a $1,600 piece of junk that quit working after 3 months. They would not budge on the refund. Do not send them any of your hard earned money.
