If Robert Englund doesn't play Freddy it's not worth watching. That's his Character. Damn near anybody can play Jason or Michael, Robert can only be Freddy.
A Nightmare on Elm street 3 Dream Warriors was the first horror movie I watched and I was around 11. I’m 36 and still my love of the horror genre is strong within me, lol. Freddy is just unparalleled and my number one favorite out of the horror slasher sub genre. Everyone HAS to sleep, and even though Freddy, Michael, and Jason have all been “killed” multiple times in multiple ways, I find Freddy the scariest and more threatening because again, how does one simply avoid ever sleeping again? Also, Robert will always be my favorite Freddy.
There was the Hypnosil but it seems every doc was against it. Until Freddy VS Jason. But because all the docs were against it, every teen was being killed one by one. even if the Dream Warriors teamed up in a group, he knew how to separate them.
He might just be too evil even for the Sinestro Corps... I mean, he does really sick things with kids before he gets to typical torturing them to death. What we saw in the movies is really G-Rated compared to what his merely spoken-about true backstory was. I think Sinestro would team up with the Green Lanterns to even oppose that guy.
Still waiting for a game studio to make A Nightmare on Elm Street game...hopefully someone uses this video as research and make a good Psychological horror game
I actually have A Nightmare on Elm Street for the Commodore 64. But it's kind of just a "find house/run away from Freddy" kind of game. What we need is a game with excellent visuals and production values. A real plot and story, and finally a very graphical Freddy returning. A Nightmare on Elm Street is a very underrated horror fest.
I'd say Freddy Krueger is immortal. Despite all the ways he's been killed he always came back. It would seem even when brought out of the dream world and killed he goes back to the dream world. Even at the end of Freddy vs Jason his decapitated head looks at the audience and winks, while laughing. My guess is the best way is forgetting him over time.
Yeah, but to that last part, even if you manage to forget him, he'd *still* exist but he wouldn't be much of a threat tho. He'd be nothing more than pretty much just a harmless poltergeist at that point.
@@francesgazzier5428 That's *precisely* what it was, Robert Englund even said so himself about it at a convention somewhere. The wink that Freddy gave to the audience during the ending scene was to essentially tell the audience that Freddy's got Jason *exactly* where he wants him.

These are awesome! As a movie buff and growing up on true horror. The best part of rewatching the movies was trying to put all the lil hidden secrets together. You put these together epically dude
the movies got weird toward the end with 4 and 5; but he's only immortal in the sense that he's already dead. the pact he made with the demons lets him interact with the real world, only if he's known and feared by the population though. outside of that as we can see in freddy v jason, he's forced to reside in hell. he can pretty easily be beaten if you know what to do, and if he's forgotten his impact on the world disappears. he'll only exist in hell, to be tormented by the demons he made a pact with
Only Jesse and Alice escaped him in the first six films. Everyone else he always caught up with eventually. Not including his daughter as he didn't plan to kill her.
Jesse most likely ended up getting killed by Freddy in Nightmare 2 at the very end while Alice almost lost her life *twice* battling Freddy and only lucked out because of some conveniently timed intervention from other characters. He was also well on his way to murdering his own daughter, but that massive plot armor of hers saved her big time lol.
They weren't poisonous syringes. The kid in that one was a former heroin addict. The tracks on the kids arms and feet turned into little mouths begging for a hit.
I agree because he is based on memerory but he knows if he kills everyone then he goes back to hell. He's killing the children of the parents that lived on Elm street..
I'd start with the legal system's jackholes who let him walk in the first place. Maybe find a way to let him stomp all over their dreams as vengeance for their incompetence.
If I recall, Robert Englund is credited as Freddy Grueger only in the first Nightmare on Elmstreet. All of the sequels have Freddy Grueger credited "As himself". Also, while Englund is proud of what Freddy became, he's a bit sorry because Freddy is the sole role he's remembered of.
The dude that's narrating this video missed a couple of marks regarding Freddy's powers and physiology: 1) Even when separated from the Dream World, he's *still* superhumanly strong and durable and he's demonstrated that many times over against various hazards that can actually harm him such as fire or even engaging Jason Voorhees in physical combat so it was *never* easy for any of his enemies to just merely defeat him *that* quickly just 'cause he's separated from the Dream World. 2) His greatest/most remarkable form that he shapeshifted into was his demonic form in Freddy Vs Jason in all actuality. It was also the form that showcased some of Freddy's true potential in his powers as well. 3) Freddy is *"ETERNAL"* (as he himself put it) and he's proven that fact time and time again, plus, he's wasn't *truly* defeated by Nancy nor the Dream Warriors nor Alice or even Jason Voorhees either for that matter because he *still* managed to survive after battling all of those characters. 4) Even his daughter, Maggie/Katherine, didn't technically defeat him either due to him being cunning and clever enough to devise a plan to use Jason as a tool to get his power back thus rendering her final battle with him ultimately pointless in the end. 5) He forgot to mention that the version of the glove that Freddy wore in Freddy Vs Jason. The changes made to that version of the glove were also pretty significant as well especially in regards to the length of the glove's blades.

In 2: Freddy’s Revenge, Freddy is portrayed great, if you can look past the literal gayness which a lot of people can’t. 1, 3, and 7 are prob the best in that series, IMO. 5: Dream Child is kinda weak but has some cool kills, 6 Freddy’s Dead is terrible. Friday The 13th- 1, 2, 3: 3D, 4: The Final Chapter, 6: Jason Lives, 7: The New Blood are the better ones. 1-4 are like one long story as they take place right after one another. 5 is an imposter Jason, but as a movie sequel without Jason it isn’t bad. Some people like 8 9 and X but they are considered the weaker entries. 7 he looks the best by far. 6 and 4 and prob the best in the series. 8 he goes to NY. X he goes to space 😂. Pinhead and the Cenobites, would tear Freddy’s soul apart. In the heirarchy within Hell, Pinhead is the leader of the Order of the Gash and is considered Hell’s priest which is right under his Hells ruler Leviathan. Some stories had him contend against Lucifer for Hells rule. Other demons fear the cenobites, they are like the special ops of Hell. Though it’s considered that the Hell in Hellraiser is a different time plain or level of Hell than probably Freddy’s since Leviathan is it’s current ruler. Regardless, Freddy is just one of hells tormentees or residents just like Frank would be from Hellraiser. The dream demons that empower him would most likely be on the lower level of demonic heirarchy nowhere near a Hell priests stature. Pinhead literally has all of Freddy’s main abilities. He can enter dreams as shown when he entered Joeys dream and portrayed her father in Hell on Earth, can shapeshift as well, is telekinetic, can reality warp, etc. He has the powers of Hell under his complete disposal. Can open portals, command endless chains with an assortment of bladed attachments, commands torture devices to come forth at will, commands demonic beasts, etc. Pinhead ripped apart an angel with ease in Judgement, mostly destroyed a church, smashed an alter, melted a crucifix over a priests hand, and fed said priest his own unholy Eucharist from his very body. Freddy was banished and defeated by holy water, a prayer, and a small cross from a doctor to his bones in Dream Warriors. He also feared and cowered from his nun mother throughout his franchise. The only thing that has ever stopped Pinhead was Hell itself/Leviathan or God/the light. There was a unused scene/script/idea of Pinhead breaking up the fight between Freddy vs Jason in Hell. There’s also some cool art online showcasing that scene. Pinhead is just on another level and clearly above most horror icons in terms of power. You add his posse of cenobites in the mix and any of the other icons are in trouble, aside from maybe the Djinn and a handful of others.

Freddy can reproduce as well as the mother of whoever made this video.
What is your obsession with knowing if these horror monsters can reproduce or not?
Man I was just about to comment this. It’s really weird.
Why are we asking this question? Lol
