    In Freddy vs Jason, I'm pretty certain they set it up that Jason wasn't evil, he was just mindless. This brain is always set on "Revenge" and he sees everyone as the source of his pain. All other parts of his brain are long since dead. He's basically a Wrath, a spirit motivated entirely by revenge, and simply can't conceive of any other thoughts. At most he had a lingering residue of affection for his mother.

      His mother did a curse. Most likely, that curse gave Jason physical form, but he had no mind. Being undead, death was the last thought. So maybe that thought loops in his undead mind, and he has to kill to stop the loop.

      If anything, not in the traditional sense. But in a more sci-fi sense maybe because in that genre you just need DNA and not specifically semen to impregnate a woman with a person's DNA making the child partially his. Which a fun head canon I have is that an organization did just that to try and create monster hunter of sorts to deal with things like Jason and the others.

    A slight correction to one of your observations. Jason Voorhees does not have HYDROCEPHALUS. He has Osteopetrosis, also known as “Stone Bones” or “Unbreakable Bones”. This is why Jason was so difficult to kill, even before becoming an undead zombie creature. And one of the symptoms of Osteopetrosis is unusual bone growth. This typically happens in the limbs, near the joints, causing hump backs and clubbed feet, etc. But it has been known to affect the skull, causing physical deformities that greatly resemble hydrocephalus. This explains how he is not only physically deformed, but also able to survive being hanged from the top of a barn.

      @godzillagurus576 Год назад +4

      Pretty much a disease give jason a little bit of powers

    • @Thundarr100
      @Thundarr100 Год назад +9

      @@godzillagurus576 more like a genetic mutation. In reality these genetic disorders cause more problems than any benefits one might gain from them. Having unbreakable bones can cause physical deformities, arthritic pain, and can put pressure on the ear drums causing deafness. The muscular disorder that causes superhuman strength also increases the person’s metabolism, which causes them to eat huge quantities of food. And even if they are well fed they often have stunted growth because of how many calories they burn through each day. And CIP has all sorts of problems, like incontinence because you can’t tell when you have to go to the bathroom for instance.
      However, in the fictional universe of a film series, one can gain the benefits of these real life conditions without having to suffer any of the negative effects of them. Bruce Willis’s character in the movie Unbreakable is a perfect example of this in practice. Unlike Jason, his Unbreakable bones don’t cause him any physical deformities, pain, or whatever. About the only thing that he and Jason have in common with actual people with this condition is that they generally can’t swim due to the density of their bones causing them to sink.

    It has NEVER been established that Jason came back as an undead being (prior to part 6). I been watching these films since they came out and I gotta say the way i always knew of it is that in part 2, 3 & 4 Jason was Human and Mortal. He was wandering the woods all those years and living in that shack. But he wasn't dead or undead. We see Tommy finally kill him at the end of 4. He was buried. For YEARS. Then electricity brought him back. Then he was undead.

In my opinion, what if Pamela brought him back with the Necronomicon, but as a slightly enhanced and leaning into superhuman strength power up? (Considering 1-4 Jason was strong but not that crazy) Then the lightning bolt from 7 activates another string from him being of the book of the dead, causing him to truly reach that deadite level? I don't know really though, why would Pamela go through bringing him back as a human just to get killed again but come back with a lightning bolt? Eh. Idk, sounded better in my head probably.

    • @B1G_SMOKE621
      @B1G_SMOKE621 Год назад +5

      Let me explain my theory to why I think Jason was undead ever since parts 1-Jason X:
      Jason had died while drowning, and then his mother used the *Necronomicon* to bring her dead son back to life, and her killing spree was the an elaborate final act of a ritual to bring Jason back from the dead, and then the ritual worked and Pamela got her head *WACKED* off with the machete. After that, it released a demon to which resurrect Jason, making Jason a deadite all along (at least IMO)
      With the demon inside of Jasons soul now,Jason learned how to kill and hunt down anyone or anything who enters *Camp* *Crystal* *Lake* And I would say the demon inside of Jason is possibly mimicking Pamela’s voice to tell Jason to “Kill, Kill, Kill!”
      Until Jason was killed off in Part IV, the demons in his soul possessed some other people like Roy Burns in Part V, until the lightning struck Jasons corpse, resurrecting Jason as a much more powerful deadite, giving Jason the curse of *Immortality*
      And it seems like it’s revealed the demon never left Jasons soul ever since Jason was killed off.
      The theory is that Jason is a *Special Deadite* with special supernatural powers. And, here is even more proof he is a deadite, he was dismembered in Part IV (implied off screen), and what kills Deadite? Dismemberment.
      In Part VI, Jason was resurrected through a lightning strike, and what resurrects Deadite? Lightning!
      That’s just my interpretation.

    Here’s the thing though, if Jason developed a fear of water, after being chained to the bottom of a lake by Tommy Jarvis, why was he willing to get into the lake onto a boat and then back off swim into the ocean to get to land on New York? One of the biggest pet peeves for me on this series is that Jason had no problem swimming in water and then when he sees a small waterfall in. FVJ, he is suddenly afraid it makes no sense and is the middle finger to Continuity. It makes me question whether the Paramount movies were canon to the NLC movies before the remake.

      Although they weren't confirmed to be non-canon, Jason's mask is missing the axe slash, and his left eye is completely normal, unlike the canon version where it's gone due to the final chapter. Thats enough evidence to say its non canon, until the waterfall scene, which is simply PIS. By making him afraid of water that directly ignores the continuity of the past films to handicap Jason further when he's already in the dreamworld, is maddening to say the least and is a prime example of poor handling on the side of the writers, because each of these details were present in the final friday, so it should be canon, plus the fact that freddy brings him back to life at the start of fvj, lining up with the end of GTH

    Small correction to the video. In the remake his head was wrapped in cloth. In part 2, and 3 it was a pillowcase with an eye hole ripped in it. But only for the left eye. Which is the one that gets injured in future films.
