I adore your videos - began watching 8 years ago. Wherever you are - I am sure there are videos in your mind based upon where and how you are living now. Please consider coming back ❤
I love your video. In fact, it is one of the best on youtube regarding hosting a real life dinner party. I hope you are safe and sound after the attacks in Paris.
Absolutely Gorgeous I use to think I was different because of my style of things now I'm finding myself I love French style on everything food clothing makeup fragrance new subbie
I can't believe I'm only just now finding out about your channel! I binged watched all of your awesome videos. I was watching Laura Calder's French Food at Home on RUclips, and autoplay was on. All of a sudden, this video started playing (among many others) while I wasn't paying attention. I was instantly hooked. You have that cozy, homey, chill vibe when it comes to cooking at home, and it's really great! You remind me of Julie Powell, and I keep thinking about the movie Julie & Julia. One of my favorite films of all time! I was sad to see that you hadn't posted a new video in many years, and I was just curious as to why. Either way, I hope you're doing well! 😊 P.S. I wanted to get your book on Amazon, but I saw that it's temporarily out of stock. I hope to get my hands on it soon!
This is cool vid. Where was one like this 15 years ago!!!! My parents come from a culture with chop sticks and the view that "knives" are killing/butchering tools hence omission from the table. My siblings and I grew up in the States so of course we used silverware also. BUT all these assorted silverware used to get me confused AF!!! Rewind to my first dinner invitation of my first high school girlfriend (old southern/French dignified family). I used the soup spoon for everything! I didn't even notice the silverware above my plate until I was finished with dessert! Oh, the faux pas!
Can you do a video on how the French live? French culture is wonderful and I'd love to learn more from you. This dinner video was fascinating, I will be adopting this "typical" dinner party.
This was such a beautiful vlog...what happened to you showing us the main course and the desert......??????I hope you make more vlogs we love them! Thank you. I'll lll you know how the quiche turns out! xo from Ca
Love your vlogs!!!! Can you do an apt tour????? I also love your outfit! Do you ever do fashion and beauty vlogs? Hope so~~You remind me of Amy Adams the actress! and you have a lovely soft RUclips voice!
"What? No dessert? Not even a simple piece of pound cake?" (from an old Seinfeld show). Pardon the joke and thank you for the video - very nice. I had no idea how French I am........
You’re still getting new viewers. I know this is ancient history for you. Really enjoyed the video. You were going to put the dill-ranch recipe in the description; I don’t see it.
Your video is great but there is some "imperfection" in what you say =) - An "aperitif dinatoire" is "dinatoire" so you don't have to make an "entree, plat, dessert". The aperitif dinatoire is your "entree AND plat" (and many time you're not hangry for a dessert ;) ) - Secondly in an "aperitif dinatoire" you have SO MUCH things to eat ^^ not only saucisson, cucumber, carottes and tzatsiki but you have also blinis (with tarama), many charcuterie (ham, jambon de bayonne), some times some cheese, a good bottle of wine or cidre or rosé or beer (depend on your preference) ...etc Many things that you can share with your guest ^^ So in your vidéo you make an aperitif not an aperitif dinatoire ;)
I don't know how I got here, but I've been to amazing dinners in Paris, France and this is too much pretentious hullabaloo.... nice tableware but the striped dish monstrosity? No. sorry. Just no.
If this lady had a french cookery TV program I would tune in every week. That was wonderful
Does this woman still make videos? This was perfect
Enjoying your videos and wish I had discovered your channel when you were making videos. Happy Holidays ❄️

Where did you go ? This is a great vid.
You’re still getting new viewers. I know this is ancient history for you. Really enjoyed the video. You were going to put the dill-ranch recipe in the description; I don’t see it.
Is there a second part to see the main course and more importantly the dinner party itself?
yeah I was wondering what the main course was
Hi top GMN, the song is called Technicolor from the band Sugar Glider. Free download at www.sugarglider-music.com. Enjoy ! SG
Please make some more vlogs. This was 4 years ago!!!! Where have you been?
in what universe do you not use a different plate for each course ?????
Cool are you still based in Paris?
name of the song in the begining?
what kind of soup did you have? No meat? :-)
TFS.
+TheLilac212 Did she say she was making soup? Pay attention!
Why you stopped making video?
This is great, but I think I would need servants to prepare this!
Having servants doesn’t help. They do they do the prep for me and clean up but I still do all the cooking. It can take all day and is back breaking.
Do u live in paris?
+Chloe Ammiano DUH. are you dense?
you don't throw away half of the endive. The base is not more bitter that the tip.
for some reason i kept looking at her hair
+dekubaner hER hair is gorgeous but maybe she should keep it pulled back when shooting cooking vlogs! Yes I agree
