I set down a sell point and push the trees into it,takes time but its better than trying to cut them up Can't wait for either the tree devourer,tree be gone or T-Rex to come out I hate those big trees
Its so much easier to use it on the front of the tractor instead of the back.. also, it works better to leave it raised when cutting trees and lowering it on bushes.
Spent so much of my first playthrough getting rid of all the trees in the starting farm on riverbend. Ended up putting down a carpentry and leasing the big volvo wheel loader with claw and dragging them to it. Big trees are too heavy for winches unless you cut them up. The big stumps i was unable to remove completely. Stump grinder and mulcher refused. I just kept cutting them with chainsaw until they were flat enough to be driven over.
Totally not your fault, but here we see another fine example of base game gear so hideously glitched and clunky that attempting to use it will always make your game experience worse. Modders have kept this game alive for over a decade. For your next episode, try the 100k base game wood chipper, lol. The only thing that goes through the chipper easy are perfectly straight, small diameter pieces that are obviously intended to be worth more value in a different process. Feeding an elm through the chipper is a game ending nightmare.
This doesn’t seem to work anymore? Has there been an update? Rented the biggest tractor with the mulcher in your video and it just won’t remove anything bigger than a small bush. 😥
The HOURS of gameplay I've done has revealed they probably only spent $20,000 on updating 22>25 SO MANY 'don't care' things they've done Big TREE removal is a nightmare (even with mods)
i accidently planted wrong trees on a entire field now im stuck with a entire field full of trees, yes i could cut them all by hand which would take time BUT the trees are so close together because i wanted to plant pine trees that when i cut them they bug into each others crowns which causes extreme lag, i only need to cut like 10 trees and when they start bugging into each other i go from 360fps to 15 fps xD so i literally cannot cut them if anybody knows a way to delete trees please let me know
Worked well for you the mulcher , took me literally 30 mins to remove a stump

Lumber jack mod on PC is out, that might help you get rid of them!
This is my first time playing any FS and I find the tree cutting the most difficult part of the game the wood chippers can be a nightmare
They take a bit of getting used too, not much money in wood chips also.

try lowering it down, if you haven't already and make sure the tractor horse power meets or exceeds the requirement of the machine

Lumber jack mod is out on PC that might help, I have done this before, I ued the Lizard Trex 600 on FS22 was a life saver!

Maby not enough horse power on the tractor to carry the mulcher. Hope it helps!
