This is a demonstration of the dynamic simulation and finite element analysis (FEA) environments in Autodesk Inventor 2011. I modernized a trebuchet to show some of the capabilities built into Autodesk Inventor. The demonstration shows how to do basic FEA, then I set up a dynamic simulation that launches a projectile from the system, and follow that up with another FEA using the motion loads generated by the simulation.

@Katzp3 frequency analysis can be done in the FEA environment. If that doesn't meet your needs, then Autodesk Simulation would be the next level product that would do what you help. Hope that helps.

Great video but I have a question, Is there a way to simulate mechanical vibrations using inventor??
