  • This log home is going to have huge walls, this is the half way point of the walls and things are looking better everyday as we get quicker at putting logs on the wall. The walls are already taller than me, and its hard to believe that they will soon be DOUBLE this height! We are soon going to be building at new heights as this thing grows to be massive!
Traplines and Inlines Offical Merchandise: traplinesandin...
    Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of RUclips friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
    Thank you for watching

Hey my friends, its been so awesome for me have you all along this journey.
I wake up everyday excited to work on the build and the content that goes with it for you guys!! there is such an amazing group of people here. I want to answer a lot of questions you guys may have about the build. I like to share the details about what I am doing while i am working but I try not to get talking too much and boring with all the details! I want you guys to feel like you know what I am doing and why. I want things to make sense so you can enjoy the videos better! Please leave as many questions here as you would like and I will answer a lot of them in the next video so I can share the answers with everyone all at once!

@bigda2820 when Kyle was doing the last lot of trapping he was saying the market price wasn't great and the work required to get a return wasn't worth it. He knows something less controversial like off grid log building like Shaun James is a far better return in views if developed. Plus he has wanted to build this cabin in like forever

I can appreciate everry time you crank a chainsaw upand go to a log. You are so much better than I was, have so much more patience than I did, O gosh you are awesome. Neither of mine were as big as yours, so can appreciate every chip you remove and every time you have to heave a log up there or move one. I just wish I had of had your knowledge and self confidence. I have watched all of your videos, all of them so know what the finish is going to look like. That is just the way you are. You are my hero. Its really coming together and all your hard work will pay off.
Being humble about your early skills and the joy you get from doing hard work on trucks or houses are the highest form of integrity because you pushing yourself to a higher standard every day without anyone telling you to. Your the kind of guy most dads wish their daughters would marry and Im not kidding. Any mistakes that were made still help put you
right where you wanted to be, living a life you love in the bush and free from the rat race. I still have dreams from childhood of building a log home but let the rat race slow me down so at 62, I enjoy watching you do it. All work is noble but doing what you love is not work at all.
