Loathe has half a million fans on Spotify. They deserve to be playing in huge stadiums with the biggest rock bands in the world.
facts. half a million monthly listeners on spotify is ALOT if you really think about, these dudes have as much publicity as bands like Polaris, Knocked Loose, Like Moths to Flames, and Crystal Lake. They're even bigger than Fit for an Autopsy! These dudes would fill stadiums if they came to the states where most of their fans are
Theyre climbing up there. Theyve been doing a ton of bigger shows
I love the small punk gig vibes tho
i was at this show, the original philly venue got cancelled and changed to this one. it was small but super intimate which I really liked, i felt on stage. the brooklyn show i went to the next day, a venue called warsaw and it was waaaay bigger and filled to the brim crazy energy. they'll be filling stadiums in no time dont worry.
I love Loathe, but I have to wonder if they would benefit from a US festival tour like what used to happen. In the 2010s, a lot of present day big bands would play on stuff like Mayhem Festival. Spotify and Apple numbers don't put asses in seats. I'm sure they'd benefit from opening on a tour with a heavily established legacy metal band.
Sean is an insanely talented drummer
poor cymbals tho
Yea he smashes the shit out of those cymbals.
One of the best doing it
He wrote a few songs on guitar too.
@@CFChristian yeh he’s a writer for the band, good on guitar drums and piano
I hope we have more black vocalist in heavy metal scene like Kadeem.
His cleans suck though. Band would be better live with a someone else doing cleans. They are much better on the album with all that autotune.
@@HeyIntegrity most of the cleans sung by Erik tho. also I love Kadeem's clean if someone "loathe" it idfc
We fucking don’t care if singers are black or White we just need great singers
Stop with this fucking color skin problem
You are the Type of person who say you are anti racist but you keep talking about color of the skin
We fucking don’t care of the color of the skin
@@HeyIntegrity i definitely wouldn't say they suck, it's just not anything special. My opinion; he should get lot's of vocal effects like delay/reverb for those sections and it would sound so sick.
@@HeyIntegrity bro what are you on? His cleans are pretty good imo. Also take into account that live vocals are pretty difficult.
Kadeem is one of the best vocalists in the game
He's so consistent too
Everyones talking ab Will Ramos rn and for good reason but Kadeem is right there w him for me
I didn't know he was the one singing those low-growls until now. Pretty cool.
@@saulgoodman.exe_ Ramos seems to mainly know how to sound like some demonish piglet . Kadeem know how to convey a wide range of emotion. That's one big difference
@@rouxmain64 Yeh it's crazy how he can have those low growls yet have those blackgaze howls in Heavy is the Head. Kinda like Deafheavens vocalist screams. He's versatile as hell!
Setlist:
0:29 - Red Room
1:21 - Broken Vision Rhythm
3:45 - Dance on My Skin (Thanks to @polyghost)

11:54 - New Faces in the Dark
15:53 - Two-Way Mirror
21:43 - Screaming
27:24 - Interlude 2
28:26 - Is It Really You?
32:24 - Gored
36:16 - Heavy Is...
40:05 - I Let It In...
46:24 - White Hot
51:52 - It's Yours
3:45 - Dance On My Skin
Both of us out here doing the lords work!
ur welcome
btw 28:26 isnt an interlude its the beginning of Is it Really You
@@ohbxnny6299 Thank you - I leaned more towards writing "interlude" because, I think most people (like myself) want to just straight into the track, right when it kicks in. Don't get me wrong, though - I love that instrumental intro both in the recorded version and the live.
drummer went ridiculously stupid from 4:30 to 5:10
my boi Kadeem looking like Denzel in Training Day🔥😂
anyways this setlist is fucking amazing, thanks for visiting the states when you did also🤘🏽
I didn’t know you get wet.
I'm Rollin', That's too funny!
Fuckin' spot on! 😂
Lmfao he really does though 😂😂
They're coming back around again~
I've never seen a hardcore vocalist dance like that before. Its terriffic!
What the fuck he has all the flow going on fr
I hope they get a second guitarist like before. Really fills out the sound.
It does, but I think this sounds too spacey because of the promixity with the drums and the scooped-out tone.
Not only to fill out the sound, but the immense amount of drip that Connor brought on stage lmao
@@FormaAlert what happened to him? He was cool
Reminded me of the Oracle protector in Matrix
anyone have the link when they had a second guitarist?
Man it's so crazy to think Kadeem can go from something like Broken Vision Rhythm to Two Way Mirror and absolutely kill both, what a phenomenal vocalist
Not live. Good uncleans but not cleans.
@@HeyIntegrity bro how many times are you gonna comment on the man’s voice? You really want attention that bad? Enjoy the vibes and quit attention seeking
@@dahc0023 I only did once or twice? It's a free country. Go take your own advice.
@@HeyIntegrity you went through the comments for people who complemented his cleans just to diss them negatively. You’re free to say what you want but it’s weird behavior. Everyone’s being positive and you want attention playing devils advocate
@@dahc0023 I commented where I saw comments about the vocal lmao. Not sure what do you want? Only praise? Go live in your own echo chamber then. If you can't take criticism of one member of a band that someone finds weak then maybe you aren't prepared for the internet.
Loathe is easily one of the best newer bands in the scene rn I can't to see new material for them.
Their brand new song Demorphous Display is absolutely the worst produced song I’ve heard in a long time. Idk what they did wrong. I hope to god they do t do that again. I can’t even listen to it since it’s so bad and I’m a huge loathe fan
@@quandaledingle4659 nah. You’re overthinking it
@@mondrian5620 it’s hot garbage bud
@@quandaledingle4659 Its honestly not that bad. Maybe that was the intent. 🤷🏻♂️
@@quandaledingle4659 DD is a banger tf you talking about?
never had heard of this band until this video. that dance on my skin song made me an instant fan. thanks hate5six for constantly putting me onto new music
In for a treat my friend
These guys are amazing!
same!
one of the better "new metal" bands of recent years.
Dance on my skin song?! I'm interested in knowing which song you mean lol
I like some of the extra stuff that they're adding to their songs. Sign of a confident band on stage.
Also a sign of playing the same songs over and over and over again. You come up with new lil bits and bobs here and there.
Bummed about the Northlane tour being canceled
i was so hyped to see them
I was so hyped last year to see them with Architects. What a dagger to the heart when that tour was cancelled. :(
Me too they slay live ,w northlane is a power tour combo!!!
They nailed the setlist such good placements between the calmer and the harder songs
Don’t you just love it when an outfit defies every goddamn expectation?
Wild that they have three members who can sing and scream. Adds a lot of layers to the sound.
Kinda like mastodon because 3/4 of them all sing but only two scream
check out alexisonfire if you like 3 vocalists
everyone in this band is so talented, loathe absolutely rips and I will love them forever
They nailed Heavy Is The Head really well. Awesome performance.
beautifully kvlt hehe
finally a loathe live in beautiful quality, I love you guys
One of the best bands going atm. I Let It In was my most listened to album of 2020 and still gets heavy rotation, and everything else they’ve put out is gold
I've never seen so much passion in a show
Sounds good but I wish Connor was still in the band. Two baritones just make it unbelievable.
Loathe without Connor = mid af
@@ellisfaeoceantides2369 idk about that lol
@@ellisfaeoceantides2369 then why are you here? He added very little in the way of live presence, mf just stood there and played his parts.
@@ellisfaeoceantides2369 how can you even make this statement when they haven't released new music without him on guitar yet lol
@@seanmundyphoto he just wants attention playing devils advocate. Internet folks being internet folks
One of the most important bands making heavy music right now
the best dressed band in metal. also the best band in metal. loathe as one.
48:40 I always love this guitar part live it sounds so amazing wish it were like this on the recording
True
so true
SHOUTOUT THE DUDES IN THE FRONT WITH THE EAR PROTECTION YOU LEGENDS IM NOT EVEN 25 AND TINNITUS HAS RUINED MY EARS LMFAO PLEASE WEAR EAR PROTECTION IF YOU SPEND SHOWS CLOSE TO THE STAGE/PA
I NEVER ONCE considered that's what the constant ringing in my ears is from but now that you said that, I bet you you're right. I went to LOTS AND LOTS of heavy rock shows when I was younger and I was ALWAYS near the stage. I'm 35 now and I probably went to 100-150 shows through my 20s never once wearing ear protection. 🤦😂
@@levilively8643 yeah mine sucks lol. ringing, sometimes they'll pop and ring out, its horrible lol
@33:38 kadeems scream is fucking B-R-UT-A-L!!
25:15 just fucking hits how they switch up it real quick like that, I love all the shit they do live it's so God dam tasty
Screaming is one of my fave songs of all time bc of that part (and the angelic singing afterwards!)
“LOATHE AS ONE!!!”
I am now kicking myself for skipping this show. Setlist is perfect and they sound phenomenal.
Band is incredible. Make me feel like the first time I heard Misery Signals.
Super bummed their summer 2022 your got canceled. But luckily Sunny has us covered 🌌❤️
I love how much they're obviously heavy into deftones, and still have their own unique sound, and other obvious influences. It's been so long since I've instantly fallen in love with a metal band.
they're from LIVERPOOL??? so sick
Holy shit man, I want to see these guys headline in Aus so badly.
Look at that energy!
me too! saw them while they supported while she sleeps like two weeks ago. i need them back with a longer set asap
@@davidb_ I was on the fence about going to that one, firstly because of cost and secondly because I wasn't really big on While She Sleeps and didn't want to pay just to see Loathe if they weren't headlining. Fingers crossed they'll come back soon so I can finally LOATHE AS ONE!
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 I feel you! I'm not huge on While She Sleeps but I thought it was worth it and it was!! Definitely need a headliner cuz I left the show wishing their set was longer
@@davidb_ What'd they play; if you don't mind my asking?
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 all good!! i watched them in brisbane and the set was slightly different. i think from memory it was theme, aggressive revolution, new faces in the dark, heavy is the head, two way mirror, is it really you, gored and then white hot?
I see Travis from Erase them
Wondering why connor was not here then I saw the bands post on IG, well they are still awesome, this set is tight and gnarly, thanks Sunny
Unfortunately Conner is not in the band any longer
He’s releasing his own music eventually, follow his Instagram!
Absolutely died on 25:16, these are some notes, which we hadn't on the record, but so refreshing!
You’d like the albums "Rest Your Head" by Ages, and "Chain Letter 13" by Dark Spring.
I’m hearing deftones. Pod. Nails. Dillinger escape plan. Meshuggah. Even some deafheaven production
HELL YES! BEEN ITCHING FOR SOME LOATHE FOOTY
that last big chorus of Screaming bout done made a real one cry
these guys are un fucking real
I am in love with the snare buzz during the synth sections.
Love this band made me feel something for music that I haven’t in a while and I ended up buying merch a week after listening to them.I hope to catch them live on there next NA tour.
Drummer is so nasty
This album instantly reminded me of The Narrow Scope of Things, by Embodyment, from 2000. Lots of similarities.
The kicks at 41:54 wtf just happened. My guy killed it. Sounded so wicked
my mans looking like a fine jazz connoisseur but rocks those bass strings on his Gretsch
So glad to see this published.
Saw them early on this tour in a tiny bar in Fort Worth. Couldn't believe they came to my town. I'm too old to get down but I couldn't help myself when they played dance on my skin. This band got me through the pandemic!
ufff tremendo aporte! gracias. Saludos desde Chile.
En Chile Loathe suena más que la chucha. Que se sepa.
Aguante Loathe 🤟
@@di.tapia92 necesitamos una gira por latinoamerica yya
Aguante loathe ctm!

Kadeem looking like Denzel Washington in Training Day
25:30 i like this part
Kadeem is an insanely talented singer fr fr I wanna learn to scream T^T
Sucks their NA tour got cancelled. Now they're doing a late summer/fall tour in Europe. Glad I got to catch them in Brooklyn, even though their set was way shorter than this.
I was at this show!!! I drove all the way from Kentucky to visit my friend in Philly and this show was the main reason I went. I already took a trip to see them in chicago with Code Orange, but when I heard that they would be headlining and playing for longer in Philly I couldn’t miss my chance. This is probably my favorite metal band right now, and to me I Let It In and It Took Everything is like the Dark Side of the Moon of metal albums. So I knew if I had a chance Of hearing more songs from the album played live I had to do it. And they didn’t disappoint. When they played the title track of the new album I just had to watch in awe. I’m so glad this concert was captured like this in its entirety so I can relive it. Thank you so much for this footage and thanks to the boys in Loathe for putting on an absolutely killer show. My entire body hurt after this concert but it was so worth it.
Saw these guys a few years ago supporting another band, I'd never heard of them. They absolutely stole the show that night and I've been a fan ever since
32:24 Gored is such a damn good song
i got tossed on the stage during this song lmao, beautiful night. seen them twice now
Wasn’t expecting Travis to pop out at the end of White Hot! Extremely pleasant unexpected surprise!
Where's he from?
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 ex Varials now in Erase Them!
@@deanstavrides9087 Thanks :)
Gored is so disgusting.
Lets make this band huge
Goddam I'm so pumped to see these guys play next week🤯
saw these guys in vegas in april right before this show. never heard of them before and i've been stuck on em ever since. thanks for posting! they throw such a good show
Love how non scene and non trendy these guys look. Are they trying to do a late 90s thing or is it just a lack of fashioncore influence. Either way, they look like good dudes.
Nah they just have their own style, it looks like they dress more like they are runway models half the time. Appealing to the aesthetics of metal are completely unneeded when they are this good imo
Merseyside massive!
ZZ Top meets Motorhed
Sean just pictures his worst enemies on those cymbals.
The drummers fills are sick as fuck, just doing his own thing
drums at 13:03 go FUCKING STOOOOOOOPID
and at 53:47
@@SuperDrummerful mind fucking blown when sean did that fill as well as when he did it at 49:03
I love them Kadeem dance moves
Thall John Lennon on guitar fucking rules
sean was beating the drums like they owed him money. dance on my skin was insane
discovered these guys about 2 years ago on RUclips music, been listening ever since.. they got that deftones vibe.. keep at it boys 🤙
I really wanted to see them playing "Dimorphous Display". This song is really good.
Does anyone have a track list for this set? Plzz
25:10 how im vibin to some slam at 5am on the drive to work
The best fking band of this generation, the musical level and individual talent and as a group is impressive.
Kadeem the best 🤍🇵🇪
TRAVIS
Jonwayne killing it on the guitar
Ever since I've found out about this band I've thought the same thing lol
@@albreezy26 I’m honesty surprised to find people who know who Jonwayne is lol
@@justinwhite216 these riffs are everything
Yeah, be even better if he wasn't barely audible.
@@based3399 will that make him sound more like Jonwayne?
Love a good show in the church basement. Hallowed ground.
Who else was in the room that night? Headliner Code Orange dropped off the bill last minute. Loathe and the rest of the lineup were able to pull off a last ditch show at First Unitarian. Show was sparsely attended. I had no idea who Vended were at the time, a fight broke out during Dying Wish's set. Loathe took the stage and killed it. A very intimate show. Next time Loathe came to town was at a packed out Underground Arts then with Knocked Loose at Franklin Music Hall.
Was that fucking Travis, previously from Varials???? Holy fucking shit dawg, I love Varials as much as Loathe!
This guys playing drums with two mini baseball bats
The fact that Travis came out for White Hot bro😫
ive been rewatching this waiting for them to come to baltimore
god damn I love travis!
Kadeem Shang Tsung MK II rules.
Goddamn I would have loved to be there. These guys are going to be huge
Awesome band just wish I could hear something than just the drums lol
thanx hat5six for showing us such a discovery! awesome band!!!!
I wouldn’t say a discovery. These guys are fairly popular and were even before they released their second record
it can still be a discovery for many people from different scenes. Hate5six does a great job at exposing people to all different kinds of genres.
36:40 mmmm very KVLT indeed
451 days is beautiful
Awesome set, great video, thanks 🙏🏼
I just feel bad for those cymbals lol
Saw these guys twice on this tour, driving 8 and then 3 hours. It was so, so worth it. Kadeem hung out at the merch stand after the show and was a very nice guy.
It's always great to see Gareth Bale on drums, smashing the shit out of that cymbals
jesus fucking christ...when the vocalist is even better live...i mean god damnnnn
Boys locked in super tight at 42:48.
im here
Anybody know who the guest vocalist during I Let It In was?
I take it the cabs must only be acting as makeshift monitors.
Seems like overall they need to push more air on stage.
The drummer hella looks like Ryan Magee
