I enjoy the exploration and inventory management aspects of the videos, personally. The full Qud experience is very good.
I agree. It can get a little annoying going through a full dozen cloned end-game traders, but the pretty colors of the names more than make up for it. Maybe if he just did it when it was a really egregious number of traders being checked with nothing interesting in the end?
I'm currently going through an ooze-filled historic site on the run I'm doing. I had a meal going that gave me a chance to use cryokinesis whenever I dealt electric damage. Well, I had 10 levels of Electric Generation from my equipment so whenever I used that and it chained through dozens of enemies I basically went into bullet time and instantly cast ~5 cryokinesises in a row. While fighting a legendary ooze on the last floor I did this and instantly destroyed the dude...and all of my equipment that it had disarmed. Spent a solid minute just wincing and staring at the combat log "Light rail was destroyed, Vibrokopesh was destroyed, relic shield was destroyed" :(
24:27 I don't like the new inventory menu either. I found out by watching someone else though, that I could press tab while in it to change it to the old list type. Hope this helps.
Going back to the list view for equipment feels like a must IMO. It would be even better if equipment and inventory still had separate tabs, because as they are its more annoying to navigate with kryboard than it needs to be

One thing I would potentially like to see when speaking of cutting out the trades, is a quick clip insert of when you find something amazing or interesting.(An example would be sunslag from the Alchemist, or a good weapon/armor)
I am concerned that the weight of excitment wouldn't be nearly as high if there was a cut from gameplay into the inventory with a quick showcase on what was aquired during the shopping spree(If that's the way it was handeled)

I believe there is only a small chance that extradimensional assassins drop items, but you can cheese it with precog by trying over and over afaik
Yes I believe it’s like 5% or something like that. I will try and farm them though.

Is it possible to just drop all the items you want cloned onto the ground and then use the Cloner to clone those items?
Unfortunately not - the cloning draught is for NPC and characters only. You need metamorphic polygel to clone items!

I play this game on and off every 6 months.
I came back to this game looking amazing just after 6 months.
Im currently playing something ive never played before (i usually pick truekin) playing an esper mutant. I took 3 levels in unstable genome. Mass mind and space time vortexes as a debuff. So i could get another unstable genome.
I somehow ended up with getting sundermind. Teleport person. Freeze ray. Multiple arms. Regeneration
Put most of my points into ego and will power and just hoped for the best that i would get sundermind and other things 😂😂😂😂
Im actually super lucky. The only thing i didnt want was multiple arms but its good because imthinking about moving to a shield build with 3 sheilds and 1 sword

I always drop a recoiler before dominate clone bot so I can go to liquid merchant or tinkering merchant immediately do it every run

In my recent experience, items marked as "important" (such as relics) will remain in merchants' inventory when sold. Everything else I sell them gets cycled out when they restock. That's been my experience anyway.
Interesting, that's not what I've been experiencing. It seems to me that anything classed as a artifact or a trade good gets kept. Still, the inventory is being restocked - it just looks very busy and cluttered.
Anyone else get the feeling that Clairvoyance is bugged? Every time I use it, the enemies i reveal all aggro on me when revealed, regardless of distance or normal line-of-sight.
Never experienced that myself, are you playing the normal branch or experiemental?
only Sixshrew has been annoying with the inventory for me since the update. The Freehold plant and Stilt traders have been ok
It seems to be all traders for me - they do restock though! It just makes their inventory looks really cluttered.
