    I grew up evangelical; I could go on and on about the insanity that I experienced growing up...tremendous fear and doubt, empty belief, a one sided "relationship;" a relationship that was completely dependent upon MY very mind. They call it love, but what they actually teach is blasphemy against the very word. People are starting to question the very NATURE of belief...and we are finding that belief is completely empty; belief is rooted in, 'because I said so." Belief itself is the CAUSE of separation...oh irony of ironies.
    It's all been in front of us, and within us; AS us, this whole time.
    Believers believe they are 'saved'. but the proof is in their behaviour. People who are 'saved' don't act like believers. Eckhart Tolle is more Christian than the most fundamentalist that has ever existed...how do I know? I can tell because of his 'fruits'. His behaviour, his demeanor; the words he uses, his very presence. No literalist, fundamentalist has ever looked or acted or exuded that kind of peace.
    Thank you for sharing your existence with us, Logan.

      Wow, thank you for sharing this powerful reflection. I couldn’t agree more with what you’re saying.
      What you said about Eckhart being more “Christian” than many fundamentalists really hits home. It's the peace, the humility, the absence of judgment, and the profound presence he embodies that speaks to the heart of Christ's message. He lives and speaks the truth of who we are beyond the mind-something that is in direct alignment with the deeper, mystical teachings of Jesus. As you said, it's the “fruits” that matter. When we come to this realization, it becomes clear that we don't need to “believe” to be “saved.” We simply need to BE-to rest in the truth of our own divinity, which is always here, always now, just waiting to be recognized.
      Thank you for your wisdom, and for acknowledging the shared truth that is within us all❤️🙏

    Simply put, Religion is for people who afraid of going to hell, Spirituality is for those who’ve already been there. Basically religion in general is a set of rules and regulations as to people telling they are the gatekeepers for what God wants. This in turn allows the person to control God. Spirituality is the encounter with whatever you call the divine. I liken it to religion being like a ship, you’re on board and you go where it goes. Spirituality is just you in the ocean exploring the sea through your own eyes. While I myself am a practicing Catholic, I lean more on the spirituality in the church. I also draw insights from Buddhism and Native American Spirituality. Authors like Thomas Merton, Thomas Keating, Richard Rohr, Anthony De Mello, Thich Nhat Hanh, and others have showed that without Spirituality, Religion becomes just a monument, where allowing Spirituality into Religion, it becomes a journey to a relationship with the Divine. For me it took years of sobriety learning from all sorts of spiritual practices. Done well, religion is the house structure, but spirituality is the decorations. One’s set out before us, the other is what you put into it. As long as they intersect, they can coexist. Just my two cents.

      That’s a common critique of organized religion-it can feel like it sets up boundaries that exclude others, sometimes fostering a sense of "us versus them." Spirituality, on the other hand, often feels more inclusive, focusing on personal experience and connection with the divine without rigid rules or separation. It can be freeing to explore a more expansive view of the universe.

    We are told that religion will save us. With spirituality we ultimately understand we are One with the Light of God.
    We were absolutely scammed by the church. I had an NDE and merged with God - pure, unifying and infinite Love. I had been raised to believe that God judges us and sends us to hell if we deserve punishment. Nothing could be further from the truth.
    I’ve been on a mission since to let everyone know we are unconditionally loved beyond which words can adequately describe. We have the light of Source/God within us. We are here to learn how to express the love of the divine through unity consciousness. ✨

    Well said! In my opinion, it’s really simple. There is only consciousness. This individual consciousness, Atman, is of the same essence as the Absolute Consciousness, Brahman. It’s not knowable empirically, but is knowable (jnana). For the seeker, it may be worthwhile to study, or expose yourself to Advaita-Vedanta, at least until you grok what’s going on. Unfortunately, Fundamentalist Christianity is way off target, but they believe they have the absolute, only truth. The mystical Christian teachings however seem to be tuned in.

    Hello Logan; I would like to ask you what is your interpretation of Jonh 14:2-3, please? Thank you.

    • @LoganBarone
      @LoganBarone  9 часов назад

      John 14:2-3 is almost certainly not something the historical Jesus actually said. The Gospel of John was written seven decades after Jesus’ death, and its Jesus speaks in long theological discourses that are vastly different from the short, cryptic sayings found in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke). This passage reflects the theology of the early Christian community, not necessarily the words of Jesus himself.
      The "many mansions" (Greek: monai, meaning "dwelling places") likely symbolize God’s new dwelling with His people, not literal houses in heaven. Given the broader themes of John's Gospel, this passage is best understood as a shift from temple-based Judaism to the indwelling presence of God within humans.
      Instead of a future paradise, Jesus is describing the spiritual reality of the “New Covenant,” where God’s presence is no longer confined to the temple but is now within the community of faith.
      The phrase "I will come again" is often read as a reference to the Second Coming, but in a preterist reading, it more likely refers to Jesus’ coming in judgment upon Jerusalem in AD 70, marking the final transition from the old covenant to the new. This isn’t about a future rapture-it’s about the early Christian movement experiencing the fullness of Christ’s presence after the destruction of the Temple.
      Rather than pointing to a distant event, this passage is theologically explaining how Jesus remains present within the community of his followers.
      Honestly, I don’t even think Jesus actually said this. The Gospel of John is the latest and most theologically developed Gospel, meaning it reflects more of what early Christians believed about Jesus rather than what he historically taught. If Jesus had actually spoken about “many mansions” and a future return, we’d expect to see it in earlier sources like Mark or Q, but we don’t. Instead, this passage seems like the Johannine community’s way of making sense of Jesus’ absence, offering a spiritualized explanation of his continued presence rather than recording something he literally said. So while there’s deep meaning in it, I see it as a theological reflection rather than a direct quote from Jesus himself.

    1:36-
    It's not about you fixing yourself.
    You can't fix yourself according to the Christian Scriptures.
    "By grace you are saved through faith and not of yourselves. It is a gift of God, NOT OF WORKS so that no man can boast."
    Judaism doesn't accept that belief either.
    Satanism says you're fine as you are, do what thou wilt.
    Paganism teaches you YOU control your destiny and manifest what you want.
    Scientology is an entire other bag, pastafarianism regards the monster, and rastas don't believe the white man gon.
    Some religions believe Jesus is Satan's brother, some that Michael is Jesus, and make sure you rub the Djinn before you make a wish.
    😂
    There are thousands of religions.
    None of them fix us.

    • @LoganBarone
      @LoganBarone  12 часов назад

      What if you were never broken to begin with? What if the very idea that you need to be fixed is the illusion keeping you trapped? The mind loves problems-it fabricates them just to have something to solve. But beneath the conditioning, the self-judgment, the endless striving to be “better,” you are already whole. You always have been. The moment you stop resisting who you are and let go of the belief that something is wrong with you, you access a freedom that has been here all along. You don’t need fixing. You need to remember who you were before the world convinced you otherwise.

    I stopped by religious when I found christ.. he set me free from religion because when you find christ, you trust in his work and not your own. Religion is about working your way to heaven, spirituality is about resting in God's love and doing good out of gratitude because you have trusted in the finished work of Jesus christ.. religion comes from fear and spirituality comes from trust and love in what Jesus did on your behalf on the cross.

    • @simatic369
      @simatic369 14 часов назад

      Thats still religion my g. Believing that jesus did the work for you and without believing that god is going to punish you is in no way comparable to actually practicing the teachings and following the instructions that Christ laid out so you can put on the same mind of Christ. No where in the gospel does Christ promote the dogma of churchianity. Your assumption still emphasizes initial separation from God and then implies that your belief makes you separate or different from others. There is no separation only a lack of realization.

    • @GregAnderson-r3k
      @GregAnderson-r3k 14 часов назад

      @simatic369 That's not religion at all... I'm not sure why you would come to that conclusion because nowhere did I state fearing punishment from God.. I made it as clear as day that when you're saved, the work is finished and you're saved. Following christ is through faith and that's trusting that Jesus died and rose from the grave to atone for your sin. It comes from a heart of gratitude which comes from trusting in the love of God. There is nothing religious about what I typed. Religion is trying to keep the law and being good enough and fearing punishment etc. It's a fear based mentality. Following christ is knowing in your heart that christ kept the law for you and your good works are done out of gratitude and love. I'm not sure how I'm being religious, you must've misinterpreted what I wrote. There's nothing religious about knowing christ and Following and doing good works through him.

Its understandings, however, become confusing and derailed by use of the word "God" or reference to the wisdom of "Jesus Christ" or any reference to the wisdom of the bible.
