This was a day full of driving and walking trying to find some new spots to fish for some lake run trout! The first spot I checked out turned out to be a great spot to find some steelhead. I was able to find some steel and a bunch of spots that have a ton of potential. It was a great day to be out fishing in February! Thanks for watching👍🏼🤛🏼

That is cool fishing an egg sac on a jig. I think it is something new to pressured fish. I like to float a jig tipped with a wax worm, seems to work well. I want to try tube's for steelhead, it seems to be an overlooked bait. Thanks for another great video.
It’s been working pretty good lately. A lot of times the overlooked or unthought of baits do just as good or better than the usual bead or egg sac. Thanks again for watching Scott!🎣
slow but hey - No Skunkin 🎣 quality fish too 👍 1st time i ever saw anyone fish a jig with an egg sack
🚫🦨 The jig and sac has seemed to be working but we’ll see with some more time. Thanks Bill!
And here I thought I had the secret bait featured in the videos figured out
Beautiful Fishy!
great video!!!!
Thanks man! Tight lines🎣
Buddy I fish all over Ontario. I’ve never seen a spot yet that was empty with no one fishing. Maybe check your regulation. Most tribs close September 30.
Maybe you are in Canada? This is in New York. I know quite a few spots that don’t get trafficked much especially in January and February….
Good job! What size bucktail did you use? Do you have a link? Thanks!
Thanks! This was on a 1/8 oz VMC dominator marabou jig. Those aren’t my favorite though they tend to bend out after a steelhead or two. Here’s a link to my favorite pre tied jig. Hopefully that helps👍🏼

@@OfficialCreekGeek Thank you!
Can share the location of the tributaries.
I’d rather not for this specific creek. Just about any creek/river that flows into Lake Ontario will have the chance of having steelhead, salmon, and lake run browns. Go out and explore you might even stumble on this spot.
Hermano y los subtitulos? Jajajja recuerde que tiene seguidores en Perú😊

Ny
Yep, out in Western New York
Eria or Ontario
What county?
is that legal to go fishing near a dam ?
It depends on the dam some may have limits as to how close you can get…but most are fine to fish.
@@OfficialCreekGeek fishing regulations says 150m away.
Where does it say that? I’d like to check it out
@@OfficialCreekGeek read it, it's on every section. lol it mentioned dam and fish sanctuary.
@@OfficialCreekGeek it is illegal (under the Federal Fisheries Act) to fish within 23 metres of these dams and/or fish ladders, but some area is with 150m of these dam. be careful with that.
