It'd make sense for her to be created with some level of programming/brainwashing ie 'your entire life's purpose is to be useful to Heihachi' or similar.
I kinda want Heihachi to be like “Thank you Reina, you are my one true daughter, thank you for allowing me to be a father for the first time in my life, I love you!" 👍🏻.
Kazuya: Heihachi..... All this time.... I have a sister.... Rraaaaaaaaaaaghhhhh!!!! I’ll destroy both! And anything that is left of you!!!!! Damm you.... Damm you, Heihachi. I am done with your mind games!
Its funny how in the most simple way possible, Reina confirmed that Heihachi was still alive. One question i asked was: "Who tf taught her how to fight to remind Jin AND Kazuya of Heihachi???" And it turns out it was Heihachi himself lmfao
I love how after his rage art he’s like “that’s enough for today” with his daughter , when he literally threw kazuya off a cliff just because he wasn’t good enough as a baby lol
Heihachi: Awww thats okay Reina, we'll pick up again next day, go get some rest. Also Heihachi: If you still have your feet, then you can still stand! Get the F up Kazuya!.
Kazuya grins his teeth in anger. Kazuya: I have a sister. Damm you Heihachi. I’ll destroy both of you!!! And Wipe our whatever stench of what’s left of you!
Reina: "I don't want to kill you or take your throne..." Heihachi: "You're already bested my low expectations then..." Heihachi to Kazuya: "If you want something dead, you do it yourself and properly"
That’s crazy, to see Heihachi being supportive and showing some restraint. Last time he was a positive figure was when he was raising Kuma and Jin. But that didn’t end well…
For Kazuya, it would’ve been bad enough he had a sister. But with Heihachi back, he’s gonna beyond pissed. Heck, he’d probably devote the rest of killing anything that wrecks of Heihachi.
Wow I’ve never seen Heihachi act like this before and seeing Reina refer to Heihachi as “Father” is really sweet, something Kazuya Lee and Lars would NEVER do, hell Jin would never refer to him as Grandfather. And Heihachi saying: “That’s enough for today” instead of laughing in her face is kind of nice, like we’re seeing a side of Heihachi’s character that we’ve never seen before, he really does love her as his daughter. Though it makes me question who was raising Reina before the events of Tekken 1. We knew Kazumi was Kazuya’s mother but we didn’t know he also had a sister. It’s gonna be interesting to see what Harada and his team have in store for Reina and Heihachi in the future, for sure.
Well Reina is way too young to be born in the events of TK1. She calls Jin 'senpai', who was born between TK2 and TK3 so she must've been even younger than him. Heihachi probably had her via IVF so he could put the devil Gene in her, or he had her with someone else who had the devil Gene (probably the Hachijos if Heihachi didn't entirely wipe them out)
Everyone's saying this is so wholesome, but I just see it as Heihachi being calm and matter-of-fact. I'm not yet convinced that he truly cares for Reina, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's just using her for whatever his devil gene plan is.
Well he’s doing this the right way … and it’s kazuya he just straight up tried to off him, and was always a dick, jin was just used to attract ogre, kazumi was always posed to take him out, he’s trying legitimate kindness this route and being a parent . I believe he would’ve had jins legit trust had he nod randomly shot him down . Plus now he knows the devil can be controlled , like jin and kazuya have done .
@@MisterImpolite Bro, all of that is literally a load of yap. I tell you in full detail why Heihachi is not only a complete blight on humanity but also why none of what you said makes sense. First and foremost, if go chronologically in the timeline. Heihachi beat then starved to death his own father under a Honmaru which is a deserted temple in the middle of nowhere. Imprisoning him then militarized his own business for his own selfish needs. Along with supporting gang violence and other illegal means of expanding the Mishima Zaibatsu. I know because of retcons and what not the timeline of when Jinpachi died can be kind of confusing. But if Tekken 5 Kazuya's ending proves anything, it shows us that Kazuya was at least well above the age of a Toddler since that's generally around the time children start having the ability to recall their earliest memories. Which means Jinpachi died around the time he was around 4 or 5. Shortly after, you guessed it, Kazumi turns on Heihachi and then proceeds to put her in a blender. It wouldn't make sense for Kazumi to turn out of nowhere because it's clear that she did indeed harbor feelings for Heihachi and not only cared a great deal for her son. The most likely scenario is that the Hachijou clan sent her as a spy of sorts to decipher if Heihachi needs to be put 6 feet under or not. Along the way she actually did grow to love Heihachi and bear his child but probably found out what happened to Jinpachi along with his business. She had to come to a conclusion to kill Heihachi because of the "greater good" or some bogus. Not much detail on what the Hachijou are trying to achieve but murder terrible people because *Tekken*. Also manipulated Wang Jin Rei into believing Jinpachi was a douche when it was Heihachi all along. Proceeds to beat then throw his son off the suspicion that he's automatically evil since he possesses the Devil Gene. Then training (more like abusing) him through harsh training along with Lee, an Orphan he adopted to pit against his son. Brewing a fierce rivalry where one tramples on the other until they turn of age around 18-21 which is when the first King of the Iron First starts. Tekken 1, one of his men he sent to find treasure on a Native American land who happens to be Michelle's father. He murdered him because the dude fell in love and didn't want to go exploring anymore. Go figure. Then he gets thrown off a cliff (deserved) by Kazuya and then later comes back two years later and actually throws in Son in a Volcano killing him. Then banishes his only other son out of the family effectively putting him on the streets. Tekken 3, He Semi-Awakened Ogre due to the Tekken Force he sent to excavate the temple. After that Michelle comes to hear rumors about "Voodoo alien warrior beating up randoms" so she goes to Heihachi and gets kidnapped along with her Amulet snatched. Fully awakening Ogre and indirectly being responsible for Baek along with Jin’s mother being put in Coma but also the death of King and Nina's Brainwashing. He then used in the whole time and proceeds to murder him. The only reason Jin isn't dead is because Devil Jin only awakens when Jin is near death or physically dead to revive him. In this case Jin actually died, and due to the Devil power got resurrected. Tekken 4, He launches an attack on G Corp believing they have Kazuya remains there and then later in the story kidnaps Jin. And then gets mauled by Jin. Tekken 5 and 6 aren't really that critical in terms of how bad he is because he was more in the background. Tekken 7 rolls around and He's thrown off a volcano into lava by Kazuya. So, he practically abused his two sons, murdered 4/6th of family for reasons that started because of his own greed regardless. He murdered Michelle's father, subsequently indirectly killed the first King and put Jun into a coma via Ogre. Kidnapped both Michelle and Jin. Last but not least, there are dozens of children without a father in their life. Either the Tekken 7 story was thrown out the window or Heihachi is using Reina to further an agenda again. He's a bastard through and through. He brought all of this on himself, Jin and Kazuya along with the others wouldn't have turned out rotten or subsequently dead if he wasn't a giant tumor. Kazumi probably wouldn't have tried to kill him if not for his selfish actions.
Last time in Tekken 7, the reason Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff in the first place was Kazuya's devil gene. And in the ending of Tekken 8, the motivation for Reina being evil was avenging Heihachi's death. And now Heihachi is apparently alive and wants to awaken Reina's devil. I don't really like where the story is going. It's inconsistent with previous information.
After tekken 3 heihachi realized what he could harness through the devil gene. I think he’s realized Reina could give him what he wants through her devil gene. In Tk4 I think heihachis motivations are to get info on the devil gene from g corp and kidnap kazuya and Jin to use it.
Everyone's just talking about the interaction between these two and I'm not gonna lie, it's wholesome...but if Kazuya doesn't pick up the pace soon, Heihachi gonna put this man in a cliff cause goddamn Heihachi a monstrous beast now. Might as well be a boss character
I like the fact they improve his moveset with "real" karate stance. The mishima karate is fictionnal even if it's based (in the case of heihachi) on Okinawa karate, here it's looks so cool and more "realistic". It looks so damn cool now
Im genuinely worried about his new stance pressure and the damage of his combos. I just hope he still has tougher execution like he used too. Idk if i can handle anymore forced stance 50/50s
Someone learned a thing or two from Akuma. That man gon' be 100 years old. Survived his 12th death. More dangerouser than he's ever been. Aging like a Saiyan.
Heihachi with Reina being a devil: Let us train! You must unlock your devil blood my daughter. Heihachi with Kazuya and Jin being a devil: FOUL DEMON SPAWN, TO THE PITS OF OBLIVION WITH YOU
Pretty cool interaction. They are both respectful compared to all the snarky smiles and sarcasm they usually do. Doubt he is gonna betray her since she seems to know there is a plan
1 stack per heat activation (whatever that may be) And then you can activate it at 3 stacks. Due the number of rounds in a match you can only get 1 warrior spirit

Also Heihachi: If you still have your feet, then you can still stand! Get the F up Kazuya!.
I love how they both say "KATSU!" during their clash. Like father, like daughter.
harada tekken 7 : lets end this mishima saga
harada tekken 8 : lets expand this mishima saga
This is just insane. This old man refuses to die
He just got the Mr bison treatment
Aww! What a pleasant intro between father and daughter. 🥹🥹
Kazuya grins his teeth in anger.
Kazuya: I have a sister. Damm you Heihachi. I’ll destroy both of you!!! And Wipe our whatever stench of what’s left of you!
Reina: "I don't want to kill you or take your throne..."
Heihachi: "You're already bested my low expectations then..."
Heihachi to Kazuya: "If you want something dead, you do it yourself and properly"
Reina: Yes Father.
Literally everyone who didn’t catch on to the similarities between her and Heihachi: I KNEW IT!
Heihachi probably had her via IVF so he could put the devil Gene in her, or he had her with someone else who had the devil Gene (probably the Hachijos if Heihachi didn't entirely wipe them out)
Heihachi finally feels truly powerful with his new install mechanic. Definitely maining him, only DLC character I'll buy.
Let’s fight together and get better together
@@jesustalkspace No thanks, I am a solo player for life.
@@SuperbiaNox Oh ok, suit yourself 🫡
Everyone's saying this is so wholesome, but I just see it as Heihachi being calm and matter-of-fact. I'm not yet convinced that he truly cares for Reina, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's just using her for whatever his devil gene plan is.
Why is he ok with her having the devil gene? He destroyed his family due his fear of it.
All that paragraph nonsense. It's Tekken, story is just there.@@MisterImpolite
Probably because he doesn't want to deal with another Kazuya
Maybe he'll betray Reina later on and extract her devil gene for himself or smth 😂
This is some beautiful and wholesome Mishima family bonding.
Nothing like quality father and daughter bonding time
For Kazuya: I’ll kill them both!!!
For Jin, Lars and Lee: Oh crap.
Oh my God this looks absolutely stunning the level is amazing as well... I can't wait for this
Finally, i was waiting for this interaction!!!
In Tk4 I think heihachis motivations are to get info on the devil gene from g corp and kidnap kazuya and Jin to use it.
what if reinas being evil cuz heihachi did something horrible to her
What a dotting father. Almost as good as Endeavor 🔥
that's a pretty wholesome interaction between father and daughter...
Look at his baby girl kicking his ass
He must be so proud
Modders be ready to have voice mods for heihachi on launch.
... I guess we finally see heihachi being friendly with someone other than a bear.
Also music is really cool, best music in T8 so far?
I‘m sure Reina is Heihachi’s fav child💯
Is it me, or is this best Father Daughter bonding since the Yakuza Series.
Everyone's just talking about the interaction between these two and I'm not gonna lie, it's wholesome...but if Kazuya doesn't pick up the pace soon, Heihachi gonna put this man in a cliff cause goddamn Heihachi a monstrous beast now. Might as well be a boss character
Reminds me of Jinpatchi I love the older they get they start to fight like him.
That twin pistons... Is very scary
A wholesome Mishima renunion.
Did he launch her in 13 Fram 😮💀 2:20
Yeah he has a standing 13 frame launcher💀💀💀
Worse part is I just realized when the health bar turns blue, that removes recoverable health
Yes ! I knew they would do something with is grounded punch in heat, that was sure
Seems not very useful but looks so sick !!
I like the fact they improve his moveset with "real" karate stance. The mishima karate is fictionnal even if it's based (in the case of heihachi) on Okinawa karate, here it's looks so cool and more "realistic". It looks so damn cool now
Remember when Reina was potentially interesting but now Heihachi is back?
Imagine now Reina mains leaving her.
@@rapidfire9999 I won't. She's friggin awesome and Heihachi is still a loud old bland guy.
@@MforMovesets Unfortunately I'm a not a main Reina. But I wanted. 😔
Heihachi: I love all my children equally.
Also Heihachi: I don’t care for Kazuya.
Well it's more like
Heihachi: I hate all of my children
Also heihachi: I only like reina and Kuma
@@ReinAfterDarkLars: How dare you? 😢
I'm starting to think Heihachi should've had daughters as his only children. The difference of treatment is staggering
Dude, he snowballs SO hard that is actually insane 😮
Im genuinely worried about his new stance pressure and the damage of his combos. I just hope he still has tougher execution like he used too. Idk if i can handle anymore forced stance 50/50s
0:48 BABE WAKE UP NEW REINA BATTLE VOICELINE DROPPED!!
i caught that too
The guvnors back mate …. Everyone come out the way 👌
The trailer and tekken talk did not do this dude justice whatsoever 😭 he plays so smooth im hyped, I can forgive the omen change
Someone learned a thing or two from Akuma.
That man gon' be 100 years old.
Survived his 12th death.
More dangerouser than he's ever been.
Aging like a Saiyan.
I lowkey want a Heihachi Jun intro
in the comics heihachi actually respect jun alot
Kazuya , Jin , Lars will be so jealous of how Heihachi treats Reina.
Jin and Lars could care less , lol lars pulled a gun on him asap and was never trained or raised by him.
Don't forget Lee.
Heihachi with Reina being a devil: Let us train! You must unlock your devil blood my daughter.
Heihachi with Kazuya and Jin being a devil: FOUL DEMON SPAWN, TO THE PITS OF OBLIVION WITH YOU
How sweet seeing them bonding!
Heihachi was agressive and simple moveset. Now he got so many mixup. Nice, i hope he still have bb 3+4
“You and the bear are the only ones I like.” - Heihachi
Heihachi being kind to his daughter and straight out just wants to kill his son and grandson is literally just favouritism
RIP Daisuke Gori.
The guy's been dead since before tag 2.
@@ravenousmask4159 your point ?
No RIP for his tag 2/7 va too?
@@alexandernickaboine4798 no.
Pretty cool interaction. They are both respectful compared to all the snarky smiles and sarcasm they usually do. Doubt he is gonna betray her since she seems to know there is a plan
I think he might Actually betray her at some point because knowing him he’s power hungry he only wants powers for himself
How does his Warrior Spirit work? Is it a throw out for one round sort of thing?
1 stack per heat activation (whatever that may be) And then you can activate it at 3 stacks. Due the number of rounds in a match you can only get 1 warrior spirit
@@backslicer2543 okay then so basically, he can choose a round to go full boss mode level on you. Pretty busted but it could've been worse.
