Christine Cavanaugh RIP. She was amazing in so many toons.
I miss her voice so much, she was a big part of my childhood.
She looks so young too!

Christine Cavanaugh was in Jerry Maguire as Mrs. Remo, Cheers: Mr. Otis Regrets as Terry Gardner and The X-Files: Small Potatoes as Amanda Nelligan.
She was both Dexter and Chuckie Finister.
It's cool to see a group session. It's a shame they've become such a rare occurrence. While I do understand why they're not done as often these days, on the other hand, a lot of modern animated shows & movies would be a lot better if they had some of their actors together in one room.

Wow it’s crazy how fast the pace is, cool to see a bunch of pros at work. The director is so good too.
I always pictured each line being recorded individually one at a time, but this seems like it helps with the acting and energy being consistent.

Seeing a young Jim is something else. So this is how they used to have voice acting? Nowadays it’s rare they have groups like this. Definitely memorable.

Can't tell you how many memories of watching Ducktales as a kid in the 90s/ early 2000s came flooding back when I heard you laugh maniacally as Negaduck in the Ducktales reboot.
I couldn't believe I recognized that voice as the original from so long ago and was super impressed that you reprised that role after so much time!
Absolutely hope you keep up all the spectacular work!

This is so cool to see, a piece of history!
Absolutely wild watching how fast paced one take this was all being recorded. It shows just how true pros everyone was at their work, and how working together, in one room, gave them all the energy and life to work off each other that I honestly feel is lost in recording solo in a booth having to say the line over and over for an editing team to pick a favourite. With them together and the director narrating, the story is coming to life before their eyes and ears, it’s like a play in their seats. There’s no need to guess or assume the emotions of the other characters or the scene in the script, it’s HAPPENING RIGHT THERE. That’s what made these old cartoons and all the actors so special. This is the “Disney Magic”. Right here.

that was Dan Castellaneta, yeah - and keep in mind, this was back when The Simpsons was still in its early days, so Dan was still riding that low wave at the time before the tide hit stratospheric levels

I've probably watched these Justice Ducks episodes 50+ times since my childhood, and know practically every inflection of every line and every musical cue by heart at this point Thank you so much for sharing this, it was amazing to witness all these masters of their craft just firing off one incredible line reading after another. I'm in awe at the talent in this room.

I remember seeing bits of this on TV back in the day as a little kid (and I remember thinking Christine Cavanaugh was pretty 😢. Gosalyn was already my favorite character then that solidified it lol). It must've been about '92 or '93. It's soo friggin' surreal to see it again!
