Have you guys ever noticed that when Drake is Darkwing Duck, he changes his voice and way of speaking but when he's not, he sounds a bit more like himself?

@@justarandomperson8611 There is a Darkwing Duck reboot in the works for Disney plus but it looks like it’s going to be its own thing rather than a connected spin-off to 2017’s Ducktales which I think is a mistake since we all live these iterations of characters
1:43 I love how not only DW and LP felt the need to correct Gosalyn in this life-or-death situation but also the villains (and Bushroot) stay still to let them correct her when they could've attacked during that time
So in the old series Launchpad was the reason why Drake reclaimed his civilian identity and inthe Ducktales reboot Launchpad is part of the reason that Drake was able to become Darkwing.
my guess is its one that didn't get a great reception by corporate's standards, but that fans really love. like it never gets reruns but everyone has it recorded somewhere
DId you know Launchpad is actually canonically bisexual? Not only did the writers confirm it, but remember the dialogue from when he was helping Fenton get ready for his date? He mentioned both genders in his list of his own dates!

Hmm, I like this twist on the origin since it puts LP and DW on a more even footing and justifies why Drake is a bumbling hero--he doesn't have the experience in fighting crime.
Personally I hate when they play up Darkwing being stupid, what I love about Darkwing is the 'you get back up' part, with a side of silliness, but it's so easy to go too far. When they did JUST DW episodes it was fine, but when they did the mega-crossovers they went a hair too far for me. The Moon Invasion springs to mind.
