- Today we're going to make the Yellow Bird cocktail, which looks much like a daiquiri with Galliano as an ingredient. It does have an orange liqueur, like a margarita made with rum.

Imagine a daiquiri without sugar, using galliano and triple sec to sweeten the drink. We find it a bit... odd, but that could also be the use of Dry Curacao instead of a cheap sweeter orange liqueur. However, it's not bad per se, it's just not exactly the excitement we thought we may get from it.
Yellow Bird
- 1 oz Light Rum
- 1/2 oz Galliano
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
The recipe is an International Bartender Association (IBA) recipe classic, but we're not sure there is room for it when you consider a standard daiquiri. But the color is cool!

I've made this one, and I agree with everything that was said. I think it could use a little simple spirit, but I probably won't experiment with it because my wife doesn't like Galliano.
Interesting that this is one is the “classics” when it doesn’t have a memorable flavor
@@cmcocktails Maybe there's a lot of demand for ways to use up a bottle of Galliano? (There's a limit to how many Harvey Wallbangers people want, even though it's got one of the best names of all mixed drinks)
That is not a daiquiri my dude. A daiquiri is served in a hurrucane glass, its red and has slushie ice. Git gud newb.
I hope this is a joke......
@@ryancastellente9470 Hey, I went to a place in Las Vegas that supposedly served classic cocktails, and when I asked for a Classic Daiquiri, the waitress said they couldn't make one because they didn't have a blender.
Why.....it hurts.....😭
That is a daiquiri, used be called the daily grog. Rum, sugar, and lime equals daiquiri.
