WOW! that is a picture of an 8 track tape, sure miss this album. These guys performed at Navajo Methodist Mission High School (now known as Navajo Preparatory School) when I was a Sophomore. I remember it was an awesome show! So sad to hear Mr. Indian (Eugene Beyale) has passed. This so wonderful to hear this again, it sure brings back high school memories. I always loved the song that goes...I want to be an Eagle, I want to learn to fly, I want to touch the sky with my wings...AND then Mr. Indian's guitar solo just touched my soul.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🌺🥺🥺🥺💯
Mr Indian, very great friend, but was more of a brother. Attended his father and Eugene Beyales ceremonies that they conducted. Miss them both, there spiritual songs as well as Mr Indians song's.
This album/tape never gets old, I play it all the time as it takes me back to the Navajo reservation (my homeland).
Did love his music all ever since I heard his voice..went to his concert in Shiprock way back .. Also in Shiprock fair parade...
Meet them at Longest Walk 1978 in Washington DC. One of them gifted me with a beautiful turquoise bracelet at the camp!
Enjoyed listening to Mr. Indian and Time back in the day, awesome tunes.
My mom.is from shiprock, and talks about this band and her friends when she was a teenager, life is hard but our people are survivors, god bless navajos and I'm proud to be Navajo........
my mom says they used to jam out in shiprock all the time like every week and had a huge fan base back then .....makes me feel so sad how much things change.... for better or worse ...and all the stories of the farm back in the rez just glad she's OK and here with me
Good musicians. Sounds great. One of my favorite band. I played some of their songs in the past.
Eugene Beyale was my Step dad, but to me he was dad 💓💓💓 I always wondered wat it'd be like if he was here 💓 May he R.I.P I would remember him singing his music and his albums hung up on the living room walls of our house at blueberry hill 💓💓 #GoneButNeverForgotten #ForeverInOurHearts
Hello, my mom & Granma says Eugene parents bought him a toy guitar when he was a child & use to act & sing Elvis Presley songs. my Granma & Eugene mom were sisters, my Naali & Eugene dad were brothers, I sure miss his NAC songs too, very spiritual that raise your spirits, miss my uncle
Eugene was my step dad 💓💓 Him and his wife, Estelene Beyale raised my brother Brandon and I, since we were babies 💓💓💓 I remember the house we lived in at Blueberry hill, the living room they had a shelf that had nothing but Elvis Presley regalia 💓💓 He always said he loved Elvis 💓 He was the one who showed me the movie, "Love me tender" 😁😁👍
Ben Beyale was my nali hosteen. My late father was the oldest from my nali's first marriage
Lots of Memories - working with him back in the day, one of the best memories was at Navajo, New Mexico sports center concert we put up, hundreds of people showed up to dance with Sky Light Disco and Mr. Indian & Time, we had a blast...wow floods of memories, and the one we did in Window Rock Sports Center, Performance was perfect. - the message was Unity.
I know Mr. Everette Largo....He is the founder of Native Stars Basketball, Phoenix, AZ
❤ wow I love that music 🎶 long time ago l love that music.
May i say sweet sweet legends wthout ur talents we wouldn't b as good as ya'll was thank you brothers
Hi, my name is Everett Largo. I was part of the MIT band in the 1970's. It is great to hear all the music we made with Mr. Indian and Time in the 70's. I am sad that some of my brothers have passed on. The music still sounds good today. I recently visited my home town of Shiprock New Mexico and heard our tunes at a local flea market. People are still making money off our tunes from the 1970's.
Hello, I found this album on 8 track tape, the picture in this video is the actual tape I found in a thrift store. I couldn't find any info on the album, so I shared it with the world. It really stands the test of time, and it's great to see all the comments.
Hi Melissa , do u know if Mr. Indian n time , music still out there , I been looking for it n cnt seen to find one
@@koondomingo8756 I believe my Dad was right a few years ago..we seen some people selling copies here and there. I should look into getting some tracks on Spotify.
Love this to this day.
This group reminds me growing up in Shiprock, then attending some of their concerts. I chose this group for a class project, since it reflects my generation of music during the mid/late 70's. Fond memories of my childhood and Mr. Indian & Time.
Would love to see that class project. Eugene was my uncle, the youngest.
@@waynebeyale5809 Let me retrieve it and will google you on social media

Hello Brandon, I know your comment is 1 year ago. But I was huge fan of your father's band and music. I loved his musicianship. It appears the only way to retrieve his music is via internet. Just search: Mr. Indian and Time albums. Try this website: www.stafaband.info/download/mp3/lagu_mr_indian_and_time_medicine_dream_eugene_beyale/

I grew up on this from my older sister
they lived and rehearsed at our house for some weeks, when they had a tour in swizerland. long time ago ;)
I just found this band! So upset that they’re not on other streaming services :( GREAT music though!!!
I wonder if they had any videos..
Dennis failed to say Frank Martin was the driver and security for the group and sound man.
Cool Dennis
Does anybody have this album? I can't find it anywhere, was it ever even released on vinyl or is 8 track the only format? It's really good, has all kinds of funk. The link is taken down. I'd settle even for mp3, is this recording mp3 or straight from the eight track, it's pretty good quality if it is
Hi michel , im also looking n cnt seen to find one , they were in cassettes too bck in the day I had one , let me know if u come across one
tracks listing, please
I played with MIT Eugene Glenn Hatch and Dennis Corrillo back in 79&80s. Almost went to Europe with them but my father was dead set against me going. I regret I didn't just run off to my mom n get her permission. Dennis Glen n I were great friends. RIP Eugene and Glen.
