- This was my quarantine at-home dental school interview experience. Showing all the good and the bad as well as if I get into OHSU dental school! haha you are SOOOO CALM. I was legit freaking out. very interesting seeing a zoom interview and I have to agree the lighting probably gives you an edge. psychologically people like to see faces and if its dark and dim its hard to see ur boootiful face.

Hey Jack thanks for the video! How long should I aim each answer to be? I feel like I have so much to say but I dont wanna seem like dragging for too long to answer each question
It is great that you have lots to say! As long as each point you make is valid and there is no redundancy then it is beneficial to show what you know. Where you might have trouble are in MMIs because they will give you a specific time frame you have to finish your answers in. In that case, take a second and only talk about what you think is the most important points. :)
jack han thanks for your reply :) Also, could I ask how long you personally took to answer each question? Like a min or two? Did interviewers ever cut you off? Oh and one last thing is, can I actually take like 5 secs to think about an answer before starting to talk? Thanks again :D
what were some questions that you asked? i hear that asking questions to the interviewers are good.
What I try to do is find something that genuinely interests me about the school and ask a deeper question that can not be found by a quick online search or ask something personal. A good general one is "What is your favorite and least favorite part about this school"

Yeah honestly Orgo was the most difficult but most rewarding class! Learned how to study in that class haha
