Hope you enjoy this video guys, a *huuuge* thank you to Sam for showing me around Kenya and for giving me the real Kenyan experience! Sorry for the late upload, I am currently sitting in a car on top of a hill in the pouring rain using an internet hotspot from a mobile phone to upload this video as my laptop has a problem which only lets me connect to certain WiFi networks - Thanks to Apple for selling me a brand new laptop that has more problems than a car without an engine *(dad joke).* Enjoy! 🇰🇪
It's pretty cool that the internet has changed so much of how countries are viewed now. No more BS travel advisories to scare people away. You surprised me with your coverage of North Korea and now shedding some positive light on my beautiful country. Thank you so much mate. Much love from 🇰🇪
Indeed! Kenyan people are warm and welcoming to foreigners. I wonder whether I would get the same reception if I visited New Zealand Nick? or is this just an African thing? Being accepting and kind to people regardless of their race or culture is the epitome of humanity in my opinion and Africans seem get it right on this one.
It's a money thing, nothing else. The more wealthy a country is, the less friendly and welcoming the people are. Wealthy people always think you are coming for their money and think they have nothing to gain by being friendly to a foreigner.
Hey Nick... If you are still in Kenya you can come to Malindi (Kenya's little Italy) on your way to Lamu, both towns you will experience some awesome Swahili history. I would recommend to get a local guide as you did with Mombasa.... Enjoy yourself 😀
This is such great content, It reminds me of Anthony Bourdain's parts Unknown. The whole concept of getting the local aunthetic local experience in terms of food, culture, music, history in a way that is not patronising. It's fantastic and this kenyan series in particular is making me all nostalgic as I am from Kenya. Definitely subscribing and can't wait to see other places you will explore in Africa

You should visit Nakuru and kisumu. - they are highly underrated cities by travellers/foreigners but really interesting and different from Nairobi and Mombasa too
Rich and colorful, and so much life in the streets. Once again, I’m struck by the vibrancy in the people and the architecture - something I would never have known without watching your amazing footage. Loved the nightclub vehicles!! 🚗 🚎 Thank you as always for your efforts.
You should also showcase the country side of Kenya.Maybe you could climb Mt.Kenya or Visit Eldoret the home of long distance champions.Enjoy your stay.
Oh yes bro Kenya is such a wonderful place People are friendly and so kind Am from kenya myself but currently living in England. Thankyou for sharing those video 👌
I'm Kenyan but I can't agree with that,it depends with what aspect we're good at but not all .you must have travelled to other countries in Africa to draw that conclusion .
What I'm saying is that a part from some who'd want to rob from you most Kenyans are so friendly that they can even take you in and don't get intimidated u nlike other companies who fear foreigners
Well I am born in Kenya, never been to any other country, and I feel my country is the best, the National values we hold of peace love and unity. Accommodating visitors... Simply endless
I've been watching every video so far and I love all of them!! You show us places, people and locations that we probably wouldn't see otherwise and you do it in such an honest and genuine way. I can't wait to see what's coming next!! Continue doing what you're doing because you're doing a great job. Not only are you doing a great job but your editing is always really good and the shots with the drone is really enjoyable to watch!! Have fun and be safe!! ❤️
It's fun to see how your editing skills are developing. I love the drone dolly-zoom shot @ 4:26 and the sideways shots of the houses give an interesting falling effect. I like how you leave lots of spaces for really simple shots, like talking to camera or scanning the produce in a market place or travelling in the back of a tuk tuk. I like your use of time lapse also and the way you always start the video leaving the hotel and end it in your room with some thoughts about your day. You seem to be developing a nice balance of different kinds of shots and a distinct style is becoming more and more apparent. I'm not even into editing but for some reason ive taken an interest in yours xD
Most Africans are friendly and that is why we don’t understand when we go to some of this other countries and all we get is hatred and people acting weird with fake smiles. It would be great if we all can get along and enjoy each other’s company. Thanks for visiting my country Kenya man. Next time you visit make sure you go for safari and I guarantee you will love it.
It's rediculous man. That is why you hear those Kenyans that have travelled outside the country saying that Kenyans back home love to kiss white people a*s. The kind of love white people get in Kenya is not the same kind of love we get from them while in their countries. A lot of them are full of hate. Actually, sometimes the best thing to do is to just avoid them.
Love how raw and real your vlogs are. You don't try to be something you're not. Just honesty and integrity, and it really shines through in the videos!
Your edits are superb.(You'd recommend the software you use). Thank you for showing the Kenya that people do not know, that is more exciting than the "exotic" one
You are blessed Nick - with your warm and non- judgmental personality you will continue to attract good people because they feel comfortable sharing their world with you. We are fortunate to be able to view your wonderful adventures! thank you for all the hard work and effort posting them! safe travels my friend - oh and SAM is the man!
Went to Kenya & Tanzania in August 2018. I was planning on going to Mombasa but after a month of travelling and having visted Zanzibar, I skipped on Mombasa, got too tired. Looks very very very similar to Zanzibar, almost no difference. Culture looks identical too along with the way things look.
most towns and cities on the east coast of africa have a similar swahili culture starting from lamu in kenya, the oldest (over 1000 year old city) down the coast to nothern mozambique and the comoros islands
I feel like Mombasa is one of those cities with great potential. With enough investment and proper managment I bet it can rival any coastal city out there. =)
Hey Nick, thanks for another great video! its amazing what you accomplish, a full professional film crew cant even seem to pull off the AAA shots you capture. Keep it up!
It's currently after 3:15 am in rainy Belgium, but it's never too late too watch an episode of Indigo Travaller :D I love the authenticity and the positive vibes!
A million thanks to Sam for his part in the production of this video! What a great guy! I’m hoping a bit you’ll head to either Dadaab or Kakuma Refugee Camps to highlight ongoing needs there. In any case, I’m just excited to see another video from Africa. I was thinking it’s been about two years since I started following. It was when you posted videos from Varanasi, India at the end of 2016? Maybe? When just remember where I was when I watched and completely fell I love with your videography style and generous spirit. Not all African countries are as hospitable to fellow Africans and other nationalities.
