It really does. Really strong in the midrange. Ran a better ET than a couple year old ZO6 Vette a few weeks ago at Atco dragway. The Vette was something like 1300 lbs lighter! Will never mistake it for the 700+ hp you get in a Hellcat, but it's pretty darn fast for a big, roomy sedan.
I have no reason to do anything like that. One of my favorite things about it is that it does what it does bone stock. If I were to change anything down the road it would only be to change the exhaust sound. It's awesome at startup, idle and part throttle but kind of "blatty" at WOT.
I took my valves off so they are open permanently, I also put a hellcat intake and intake box on mine, and it drops temperatures to 68 degrees. I have a mid muffler delete and might put headers and a cam on soon.
@@user-dl2mn5hb7h It does have six cylinders...and two more cylinders. Pro tip: if it doesn't sound like a long fart, then it's not a V6. Plus you can time the V6 on a sundial.
Stock. I'm not sure I've ever seen actual numbers but it feels like it pulls through the midrange on par with a Shelby GT350 I owned previously. Faster or not, it is surprisingly fast for a 4400 lb sedan.
You would think a lot of things would smoke it in a roll race but it's shockingly quick for weighing 4400 lbs. I had a 2017 Shelby GT350 and this Charger felt as quick from about 40-110/120 or so. Lots of torque and the 8 speed transmission keeps it in the heart of the powerband constantly. Now if you tuned the 335i to make gobs more hp, then I would imagine results would be different. Here's the Scat Pack running low 12s with some amateur driving (me). ruclips.net/video/VwR_nglUFTs/видео.html
Turns off when you put the car into "sport" mode. Basically just wastes gas as it keeps you in a little higher gear than it would otherwise and shifts seem to feel a little more crisp. But best of all it makes it sound better, little more noisy as the revs are up a bit. By product is you do have to see the traction off light illuminated. I'm not worried after over 30 years of shenanigans behind the wheel, I can drive within myself. Now the Shelby GT350, I left the traction control on almost always even thought it was surprisingly mild mannered for what it was capable of. Comparatively, I think the Scat Pack is just as quick from 40 to maybe 100...just an observation.
In the scatpack, when you put it in something like sport or track mode it will say that. Its not really completely off, its just in "sport traction" mode. I think you have to hold the traction control button for like 10 seconds for it to completely turn off.
Already been explained so I won’t beat a dead horse but 60-120 isn’t gonna spin hard enough to lose control unless your just straight dumb. When you hit it from a 60 roll your already in 5th\6th gear, your not gonna put enough torque down to spin like that in higher gears
@@crimsonlight4205 or you need to quickly stop/swerve while flooring a scat lol. If TC is off I hope you can counter steer AND have a big ass empty ass road. If both aren’t true, keep it on unless you just fucking around. It ain’t worth it.
@@Heynmffc quickly stopping doesn’t matter with traction control, that’s your abs that locks up to keep the rear forms swinging around not the TC, but yeah if you have to swerve like your dumb and floor it that fast at night and an animal appears or you decide to try and swerve around another car like a dumbass then I guess TC comes in handy, however like I said if your not straight dumb your not gonna need it from a 60-120
That's cool. I've seen some pretty fast Acuras around, some sound pretty amazing too. The point of this whole thing was for a 4400 pound car that seats five comfortably and has a big ass trunk, it ain't slow. Not too many cars in the category of that kind of weight and running low 12s in the quarter mile, especially not for $42K with no mods at all.

Yeah, it is surprisingly fast through the mid range for how big and heavy it is. Weighs 700 pounds more than a Mustang GT!
On pace for a mid 12s 60-130. I don’t think it’s slow but it is clearly pulling some weight around with 485hrpwrs. Sounds nice though!
Mine sounds exactly the same, musical !!
Did you do an ecu mod to get the hellcat font on the speedo?
Lmao WHAT?🤣
Nope, only thing I've done is add some vinyl graphics and a hellcat air filter. All the other "goodies' are stock
It’s called a tazer, so it gives you the hellcat performance pages and completely upstate’s the screen.
Get a exhaust intake and headers it’s a world of difference 60-130 I’m doing in 10seconds and 75-150 in 13.60
