The "car" industry is moving towards carbon neutral. Trucks and SUVs are not given nearly as strict regulations because of the "light truck" loophole. To prove this, the non-SC Challenger/Charger are given an arbitrary 5000 dollar 'gas guzzler tax' but this 700 pound truck does not. Likewise, it is only *cars* that will be forced to be electric, trucks and SUVs will continue with combustion engines.

Apply full brake pressure AND full throttle at the same time. It seemed a bit like you floored it instead but I could be wrong. The revs should hold at 2400 where you had it set and you completely release the brake with the throttle all the way down and you'll fly.
. Dodge would be the only one to come up with a compact family car that does 0-100 in 5 seconds. Gotta get them kids to school on time ! Also Grandma needs a sweet ride.
That truck can really get it! I love it way more than trackhawk or the challenger/chargers with this engine. I would still take the cummins diesel 6 but in the 1500 trim this is the ultimate.

Yes. It’s governed because off-road tires have slower speed rating than street tires. The new Goodyear’s on it were specifically engineered to give the TRX the higher top speed. All other off-road tires have slower speed ratings. That’s one reason the Raptor has a lower top speed than the TRX. If you want to be a street racer, buy a street truck.

Eventually I'm sure you could with a tuner (when they begin to support the TRX) but there's a good reason why it's set at 117; because the tires and suspension aren't rated for anything faster. Namely the tires, if you exceed the speed rating of tires by going too fast, you run the risk of them blowing apart. Which as you could imagine, is not very good at 100+ mph.
Obviously ram had to heavily limit its speed to 118 because of its tires. The lighter less powerful 2004 ram srt10 could top out at 155 mph. Im guessing with the limiter removed, this ram can do 175 mph
Correct, these are specialized tires that are designed to work on road and off. That compromise electronically limits the top speed. I was there the day that the Ram SRT-10 broke the world record, it was awesome.

I just ordered a FAT straight exhaust for my 2009 v6 charger. It has a tb spacer and air intake from Amazon. Always turning heads because I bet people think it’s a hellcat tho. It’s hard keeping it a sleeper 😎
