I don't think we need trucks going this fast. They kill enough people at half this speed. It is, admittedly, badass; but I think there should be some restrictions on preventing _some_ particular individuals from purchasing and -crashing- driving so much kinetic energy. Those of us who are actual enthusiasts don't appreciate show-offs giving us a bad reputation. Great Britain does an interesting thing with their motorcycles licenses where you need to be driving on a prerequisite grade bike for a year before attaining the next license. This can be done by getting a powerful bike and putting a restrictor on the throttle body to limit power until after "graduation". It appears to work great in practice, as there are significantly fewer motorcycle accidents per rider over there; though this might also be because they don't have soccer moms driving tanks everywhere.
