I fucking love power metal, it’s my no.1 most listened to genre alongside epic music like TSFH. Sure, I listen to heavier stuff too, but even there things tend be melodic such as melodeath and metalcore (though not nearly as often.) Just listen to whatever you want and don’t let others dictate what you “should” like, hell my best friend irl is mad into Nu Metal, which is genuinely cool as far as I’m concerned.
