Just one correction on the video, the lens can be found now for £1100! (I would say this is a bargain, but it is still a lot of ££££) Also, the 3 customizable buttons are not clear in the video, they are half way down the lens and are positioned, top side, left hand side and bottom. If you are considering this lens and are concerned about other reviewers saying that the focus is slower than other models, It is almost certainly down to them leaving the focus limiter from zero to infinity. because Sigma have built in such close minimal focus distance (58cm), much closer than any revival lens, it means that the focus motors have to travel further. Put the focus limiter in the correct mode is key, choose either for subjects 10m and watch it fly! Enjoy, TCM.
After watching this review and seeing the quality images produced. I am seriously considering purchasing a new lens rather than a used one. Thank you for the review.
Have you watched this one: ruclips.net/video/Pp_3SATw3EU/видео.htmlsi=FnmenbvUN9gocurr IF I had a choice for the SOny a6700 I would chose the 70-350mm every time, its a fantastic lens!
@@TheCameraManReviews Yes, saw the "Deer" video, it was brilliant. Thanks for your reassurance, I think the Sony will be a bit more "discreet" on my A6700. Always interested in your content, thanks. 😊
Nice review, thanks. I'm thinking of upgrading to this to use with my A6600, currently using the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary with Mc-11 adaptor and I've never been entirely happy with it.

Incredibly sharp lens. I've just ordered the Sony 70-350 for my A6700, I'm thinking now that I should have ordered this instead 🤔😒
No, the 70-350 is perfect for the 6700! you will love it.

Great video
Nice review, thanks
Relatively speaking, a bargain. Out of my price range though.
As for the quality of the pics, they seemed great!
Yeah its expensive. IMO all camera Lenses are over priced!
Hi! Could you review Sony A6700 + Sigma 150 600 Sports combo? I am planning to get this setup for Wildlife Filmmaking. Thanks!
Exactly what i have. Its a no-brainer - just get it !
Would this lens still be worth buying for L mount now or would you recommend something else?
I'm afraid I have not tested with the L mount system. 😞
Thats like 225-900 on an APS-C camera. Wow.
Hi, may I check if your lens was on the latest firmware? I've been considering between this and the Tamron 150-500 for birds & aircraft.
It seems like the early versions of this lens on the older firmware did suffer with slower focus.
I was also considering the Tamron, but I know that the extra 100mm on the Sony or Sigma would eat away at me.
My version of the lens has the latest firmware
pics look great, thank you for the review.
