Typhoon: "You know, we had to pull parts from the heavy mechs to get these cougars operational" Me: "you took parts from the *heavy* mechs to fix the *light* mech?" Loved that Mechassault reference from Team Typhoon, great video once again!
Holy Timber Wolf, this was fantastic to watch! My dad introduced me to the Mechwarrior universe back when I was just a kid in 2000 with Vengeance, and I've been a fan ever since. And this right here brought me the biggest smile to my face in recent memory!
Really fantastic animation. I enjoyed every second of it. I really hope this becomes a series. I can see myself getting attached to these characters, especially the rookie. It'd be fun to see all the missions he goes on, trying to rise through the ranks. Definitely going to subscribe and hope for more.
I appreciate you making the models of the mechs (like that patrolling crab earlier on in the video) staying true to how they were depicted in the original battletech manuals from the 80s and 90s. Good stuff.
The voice acting, models and animation are the best I’ve seen so far. Loving this. Glad you’re still in the game, so to speak! Seems you really pulled out all the stops for this one!
Your channel is the next best thing for a battletech animated series and when I saw this video came out it made my day, I love it and keep up the good work.
This was great! The graphics were a bit of a throwback to old MW games. The voice work and acting were terrific. It reminded me of the old Roughnecks series which I loved. If there was a series of this, I would watch it.
"We had to pull parts from the heavy mechs to get these cougars operation" Hold on, you took parts from the heavy mechs to repair a light mech?! Instantly recognized that Mechassault reference, amazing animation!
This channel is undersubbed it needs more love and attention for the work it makes, I hope your your channel gets more subbs and continue with the great uploads!
still love watching your animations, wish could see more mechwarrior/battletech animations like yours. ^^ From the mechs themselves, space battles, and infantryman. The series such underrated series and deserves more attention
I was a little disappointed that the lasers were not constant beams and didn't use the mechwarrior 4 sound effects, (best sound effects) but damn am I happy to see somebody doing these! (2:26) that's what you get for sacrificing so much armor for ac/20s
Always love coming back to your mechwarrior animations. Shame arent more people on youtube that do animations like yours. Only handful, always halo, star wars, warhammer, and few others. ALso want see fan animation of star wars and battletech walkers/mechs and ground forces going at it lol
i love this!!!! a base assult would be very difficult if they have both air support as well as turret defences. although, i do wonder why the turret generators would be outside the base (although i wonder if thats just a trope from the franchise as a whole lol). bringing out the beers gave me strong starcraft terran campaign vibes "thank god for cold fussion". ps. man i love the stinger (and the wasp). i wish this little "unseen" mech gets more attention (would love to have it in mwo).
If it was in the base it would paint a big target on it and if a stray shot hits said generator and causes it to go offline, bye bye Caliope Turrets (and Laser turrets if it doesnt have a backup power system)
Proud owner of the first three games release for free by the current owners. Still trying to get missionforce cyberstorm still. Careful with the free version of starsiege though, no music or most of any important character voice lines n the game with jank character profile pictures. Still runs mostly fine though
I just stumbled across this today. One, this is nice, it brings to mind the early seasons of Red vs Blue. Two, it makes me want to dust off my technical readouts and get my Battletech minis into my active painting queue. Three, is this a Machinima animation, and if so what game did you use for a base, if not that's even more impressive and opens up a gigantic world of possibilities for more. Four, it's been a long time since I have read anything Battletech related, but I am certain one of the variants for an Inner Sphere vehicle specifically mentioned that it was converted into a beer wagon by a particularly rambunctious lance of Mech pilots. EDIT: I found it. Technical Readout 3058 Upgrade Badger Tracked Transport 30 Ton Tracked OmniVehicle Notable Crews: "The Hotbox Five" -I am abridging here- Assigned to Reed's Roughnecks mercenary unit these Badgers have all weaponry stripped out in favor of equipment converting them into a mobile entertainment venue and nicknamed the "Booze Cruisers" by the mercenaries they support.
that was really awesome... great characters.... good story(better then mw5) and voice actors that are trying to give emotion to there voice (and mw5 had payed actors) .... need more please
Always nice to see your animations, any chance we see them mechs taking on star wars walkers? lol Wish more good mechwarrior/battletech animators like you. Only a few i think of.
When he tried to tell the people that he was the reason why the base powered off but was not able to was very, very relatable.
If I was there I'd ACTUALY let him SPEAK and then yell at whoever is interrupting him, damn kid needs a promotion for that! XD
The fact the 2 hover tanks was there could have told them the rookie found the powerplant and we back him up.

same
You would if the heavier were damaged beyond repair
@@thegreatbamboozler4837 Yeah, but the way they said "this had better be worth it", makes it sound like they weren't. Or not completely, anyway.
@@c182SkylaneRG Maybe it's time to stop paying the techs in beer...but then again, someone's gotta fix the machines and you have to pay them somehow.
I mean, if they're IS heavies to get clan lights operational that can be a good deal.
"We have to steal all these mechs from the Crescent Hawks to save the inner sphere."
"Or we could... you know... pay them? They are a mercenary unit."
wonder how much the armor cost
It's the Inner Sphere. We almost never pay someone if we can kill them about it instead.
I don't think any amount of C-Bills would have made them give up the mechs, clan invasion or not.
Well you know, there's two ways to pay for things: C-bills, or blood. They went with blood.
We need more fan made balletletech/mechwarrior animation like this. Personally I rank it as my favorite sci-fi universe
The captions on my phone said the Crescent Hawks were sitting on top of some "Mexican Technology!" LOL!!!😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Un cerveza por favor
@@FarseerAnimation Si Senor!
Bravest Heroes of the Inner sphere there ever were.
"I'm going to be blunt: you suck."
Awesome delivery on that.
Damn! This animation is one of the biggest in your channel! This is great: Voices, animation, effects and everything! Keep up the work!
Will do!
@@FarseerAnimation you did good on this one I laughed a bunch. keep it going! o7
Just hearing the MW2 sound effects was enough to make me smile on an otherwise rotten morning. Thank you for that.
Loved the humor in this piece! Your storytelling is getting better and better.
my last roguetech start had 2 Vulkans and i felt that ending on a deep level
Holy Timber Wolf, this was fantastic to watch! My dad introduced me to the Mechwarrior universe back when I was just a kid in 2000 with Vengeance, and I've been a fan ever since. And this right here brought me the biggest smile to my face in recent memory!
Damn dude, epic, great VO work too!

Awesome story, this should be hired for games!
Top notch, the 'pitstop' bit with the nervous look away was really well done for animating without dialogue to get the scene across.
These are wonderfully made, entertaining, and obviously a labor of love. Happy to subscribe and spread the news.
Thank you!
Mechwarrior Boris reporting for duty.

Last guy is SUPER salty. Guess you could that the whole train business “derailed” his plans for future promotion, huh?
Badumtss
You'd be this mad too if you had to pilot a stock Vulcan, lol.
Excellent work, most entertaining and neat to see the Crescent Hawks at the center of this. Nice call back to the first Mechwarrior game!
That first half a minute gave off a lot of MechWarrior 4 start-of-mission cutscene vibes...
Very well done, thanks for keeping MechWarrior alive.
Nice callback to the Vulcan Mechlab video.
This is amazing! Thank you for making some mechwarrior animations you never see them!
Superb Animation! The script, and the quality are great. And for those who are around my age and get this reference:

I just found this. Fan made media is better than anything else. Well done.
Love it, thank you for adding to the collection of the body of work that is the Battletech universe...

That pilot bitching about his vulcan sums up my Mech warrior career
This was extremely enjoyable, thank you and keep up the good work! you improve with each video.
In a line of well done work, this is the very best. Hilarious!
This is one of the best Battletech animations I've ever seen. No cap.
I've watched every Mechwarrior / Battletech animation on your channel! Please make more ♥
Soon!
I love the MW2 sound effects!
Hahaha I agree about the Vulcan for sure. That tirade at the end was great.

(Nazeem): "What an unfortunate disaster it will be, if that Stinger managed to somehow rip my rear armor and ravaged the area".
Amazing animation. Enjoying every bit of it. 25th anniversary of MW2. July 24th.
lmfao I loved this one. good friggin job rookie!. protect that beer!
Possibly my favorite one- and not just because it has my voice some lol.
Great stuff!
Thanks for the help making it happen!

The Cybeer is definitely the best part of this.

Excellent! Thank you for your work!
I'm 30 seconds into this vid. And I already wanna own it.
On VHS and DVD?
4 months late but I had to make that.
I want to see animations based on Earthsiege/Starsiege. That would be so great to watch.
oh damn, earthsiege was awesome. I only ever played the shareware/freeware whatever version. but it was good.

I actually really really like the old school high res models from the older titles like MW2 and MW3.
I wouldn't mind a MechWarrior 2 remake with these stylized graphics. A blend of retro and new.
