Awesome video. We hiked and fished it twice all the way to chicken foot lake. But didn't get to film it. Thanks for the footage I got to show my wife were I love to play. God bless
Nicely done video. Gives a good idea of the terrain and the views, which are inspiring. Thanks for the slow pans so we get to see the sweep of the range and the lakes. The view at 12:00 was worth the whole hike.
It's easy to see why this hike is so popular. I've been as far as Upper Moran Lake on a day hike and over Mono Pass backpacking. I have not been as far as Treasure Lakes? Do you have to bushwhack to this area? Again. Well done.
It's been about 10 years since I hiked to Treasure Lakes, there was some bushwacking, but very little. The trail can be a bit faint sometimes through the rocks, but you can see exactly where you need to go once you leave the main Valley trail at the south end of Long Lake.
@@MidsierramusingBlogspot The Kings who own the resort store, told me you can hike all the way to Gem Lakes now. I have brothers and their families at Rock Creek Lake now.

Thanks Richard, I'll take all the blessings I can get, glad you enjoyed the video!

Hi Gary, glad you enjoyed it. I wish I had taken my fishing pole that day too, I would have loved to fish the Treasure Lakes!
