IT'S ALRIGHT | Rainflower PMV MAP | CLOSED

I have been always interesting Rainflower’s reason why she rejected Crookedjaw. We could never know it because there was no words about this in the books, so I decided to imagine what could make Rainflower do this. I rejected to believe that she was so awful to him just because he is no longer beautiful. So I thought that Mapleshade made her do this. Let me explain. Mapleshade needed to revenge Appledusk by harming his relatives. So she needed Crookedjaw to trust her, so she could use him. And how do cats goes under influence of Dark Forest cats? They have to be broken and injured inside, so Mapleshade decided to make Rainflower hate Crookedjaw by controlling her. Crookedjaw felt awful and Mapleshade used that to get him to Dark Forest.
