  • Well everyone, we took the old Banshee Queen out for a spin on her second journey, and Wow 41 MPH!! That is wild. Disclaimer: it was downhill hahah. I will always be straight with you guys but still, I was blown away. I would like to see a solid 45 out of this engine on a flat stretch once she is broken in. Sorry it takes me so long to brake in these engines.I’m happy if I have time to get on a bike ride once a week. Just how life is but that is okay! Everything else is on point!! Ride safe everyone!

Thank you, yes it is very beneficial area and the people are pretty good too. 👍 ride safe and keep me posted on your build too! ✨️ 🎉🎉🎉🎉

    Thanks for the ride along brother I told you you'd love the power on your head bolts I do mine like this I warm up the engine and with a torque wrench I tighten my head bolts to 12 pound torque and leave them the reason I do it when it's warm is because it lets all the metal to expand and then tighten them so when it cools there tight and when the engine gets hot things expand still tight my opinion ride safe brother

      Brother..... you where right, I'm loving this engine 😍. Interesting! I really need to get a small fp torque wrench 🔧 😫 😅 what you just stated makes perfect sence. I'm going to do that next time I'm out riding. We'll when the snow is gone. We are sitting with about 5 to 6 inches right now, and they are saying we are getting another 3 to 5 inches tonight 😢😢😢.

    I love the sound of the stock pip, it’s very similar to the v1 phantom which has a sound like one of those banana pipes which is my personal favorite for sound. I love a proper expansion chamber but for a daily this has the best type of sound. It’s loud but not obnoxious and it’s no to quiet so it doesn’t sound stock. Just perfect imo. I wanted to get an avenger 85 too but it’s not in the cards quite yet. Yours seems nice just got a couple new motor/bike bugs to work out and your goin to be cruising with ease. Well done brother.

      🎉🎉 thank you very much brother! The stock pipe is interesting indeed. Basically it's a smaller version of the Badass Shark silence . I could literally bolt up the Badass Shark right to it. Might have to for fun 😂😂. I do agree about the sound, it thumps like a deep drum rather then a the whining sound. Keep up the work brother, your videos have been straight mint 👌 I've never seen a defect that bad on a motor before 😅😅

    Great video. Just 2 things... 1.if your fuel filter has s magnet it it, then you put it on backwards. 2. I promise I'm not being mean when I say this, but the fake laughs are really cringe, it's not worth it to try and fit it in there while recording, if it isn't genuine, don't force it. Lookin forward to seeing the A85 in the spring. Good luck

      @grendelsgarage9723  7 месяцев назад +3

      Hope you're well 🎉🎉 the arrow on the filter points 👉 down towards the carb, so I was thinking that indicateted the duration of gas flow. Sorry brother, but the laugh is here to stay. People have been giving me poop about that for 25 years 😂😂😂😂😂 It just might be spring when I get her back out there. We got hit with 6in of snow, and now they are telling us 3 more inches! Thanks for the honesty comment 👍 hope your weather is better there. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

      @@grendelsgarage9723#1 I wasn't paying any attention to the way you laughed. So it didn't seem cringe or annoying to me. #2 Fuel filter, if it's clean, I blow thru each side to check for which way has less restriction. To know which way to install it. #3 Many say there's no need to run an air filter but I'd at least use a fine mesh screen. Something small enough to keep dirt out but not so small it restricts air flow. The fine mesh screen I use doesn't restrict flow & without it. I seen dirt getting into my carb bc it sits so close to the rear wheel.
      The Avenger will probably be my next kit. I have a nasty jack pipe I wanna weld up to fit it but gotta wait until I either get a 120V AC flux wire welder or 240V outlet & gas for my MIG welder.

Let me know if you get one. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 thanks for all the feedback. ❤❤ ride safe! 😊

      @@grendelsgarage9723 When you look at the airbox & air filter design on my motorcycle that's hidden under the seat in an enclosed area. You'd think that there's really no way any dirt could get inside just from street riding. But 6 months after putting a new air filter in. It'll have dirt on it & there'll be debris like little pieces of leaves in the bottom of the airbox that needs cleaned out.....If an Avenger 85 top end kit was only $25 & readily available. Like the 47mm kits, then I could understand why people wouldn't bother with a filter. I cut a big hole in stock plastic cover. Got rid of the foam filter inside & zip tied/glued a fine mesh brass filter screen over the hole....What's kinda ironic is, an Avenger 85 engine on a mtn bike or bmx bike. Is actually more fun to ride than a 700cc street cruiser motorcycle.
      It's hard to decide what to build on a poor man's budget. I'm thinking for now I might be better off just adding a 750w front wheel ebike kit to my current 49mm iron sleeve 29in Mongoose build with 48 spoke wheels. Since it can easily go 40 mph...For a 2wd hybrid, in 750w ebike only mode would be 100% legal on street if stopped by the 👮.....But the extra weight problem comes into play. The weak link is hubs, bicycle tires & aluminum bicycle frames not meant to hold over 300 lbs & go 50mph...My ultimate 2wd hybrid build would be something like a full suspension 26in diy phatmoto bike. With BMX style riding position for on/off road, using a reinforced steel bike frame, with rear suspension built in, 19,20 or 21in moped or motorcycle rims & tires, strong Gemini rear hub, a beefed up fast 100cc 4 stroke engine that can cruise at 45-55mph & a front hub motor kit like a 1000 or 1500w labeled as a 750w. So in ebike only mode you'd be 100% street legal. The 2wd bmx riding position would rip off road on 3 to 4in wide 50/50 street/dirt motorcycle tires.....OK OK I'll stop typing now, I just want something that can replace a motorcycle that gets better mpgs, less maintenance & doesn't need plates, registration,insurance,etc...

      @michaelbrinks8089 Brother, that was a lot, but all good stuff. I'm not sure about your laws and jazz, but maybe a mini bike might be what you need. I've been thinking about getting one, but like you said, I don't want to go through the legal jazz. Maybe shoot for a steel frame. Let me know what you go with.

    Another thing, your fuel filter should be filled to the top! You might have a clog somewhere or possibly building vacuum in the tank
