- African Village Life || Cooking AYIKPLE (beans + coconut milk banku) Volta Region || Most delicious
Ayikple is one of the favourite dishes in the Volta region of Ghana where we have the Ewe people.
This food is the most delicious I have taste and one of my favourite
it is prepared with cooked beans in spicy coconut milk mixed with corn\Maize flour.

It’s delicious papa
This looks like jongoli that my neighbor from Cotonu benin Republic used to make. It is always delicious and am always looking forward to them cooking it. Now they have relocated back to their country and I miss them so much. Love from Nigeria
We have a lot in common
This is amazing Tati! Never heard of this meal in Ghana. Thank you for this.
And it’s called “coconut husk” . The part that surrounds the coconut pulp. That you used as firewood.
I appreciate they use all parts of the coconut and the tree… nothing is wasted. It looks very tasty.
Another awesome video.

Que buena pinta nunca he visto este plato bravo tatiana
Awesome video! You never disappoint! ❤
We normally use roasted corn flour .
This is great
Taty! That is a great piece, and you are truly a woman of the people💥💥💥! You are comfortable in any local setting and that is truly a gift. You have a gift in getting along with peoples of different backgrounds and ethnicities. Great to witness📷! One thing that stands out is as a country the foods that we eat, differ from ethnicity to ethnicity. That is a remarkable feat and lovely to see. Ayikple is a very tasty dish and I have had it several times. Do not ask me to prepare it, because it will be a colossal fail🙂. Absolutely delicious food! Keep the content coming and we are here for it always.
Oh yes our food differs a lot . This Ayikple is my favorite so far from the Volta region

Looks so delicious 😋
Great upload l was salivating that's my favorite food l recreated this on my channel using vegetables to make it very nutritious. But they cook it the way our grandmothers did it. For me l boil the beans and throw the first water away to remove the gas. Tatiana akpe. Volta nie❤❤❤❤
I think she didn’t pour away the water because we had soaked the beans overnight
@@TatianaHaina okay that's good💞

I will like to know the wisdom behind the combinations.
Notwithstanding I'm in love with this food. I will try a vegetarian option at all cost. In fact I'm going to make it a permanent dish.
It has FISH in it .. mmm animal protein, a humans natural diet. Most bio-available nutrient dense food for humans on planet earth ..animals and animal fat.
Akpe 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Ayikple is best in Volta region😅😅😅
Tatiana, plse do togo mashed beans and fried black pepper
DELICIOUS 🎉🎉❤❤
Tatiana has good stomach to tolerate all these foods everywhere. God bless you.
I still can't believe my eyes. So they know and even prepare this dish somewhere in Ghana? "Tutu" my favorite traditional Antillean (Curaçao)🇨🇼dish. Who knew this? First I saw a video of "Cooking with Sindaco" on FB and ended up here via Google. Of course I want to know more. Hopefully someone or you yourself is open to telling me more about this.
where are you from? get a seat and relax. more to enjoy 😉
Your videos always make me hungry ..... mmmmmmmmmmmmm.. food !
Aaawwww
You better take me along sometime I’ll do the camera man
🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Tatiana, pls. what flour was added. Was it plain flour, corn flour, corn meal or what?
I want to try this❤
I think, she should have thrown away the first water from the beans because this can disturb the stomach, aside that the beans may have dust or dirt
It was washed very well so there wasn’t anything in it please
Aata kaun sa istemal karte ho
Nice 😊...next time make sure your host/ guest give the baby some ❤
Infact am grateful, did you add salt to it?
Yes
I don't know how they eat it so hot with their fingers. I see your hands.was burning.
Ahaha yesss the Ewes eat hot food ooo
@@TatianaHainayes ooo. It's because of the kind of foods we eat(akple family). If not eaten hot it gets cold and becomes hard. You might not enjoy it in that state
