Great tips, I started doing something similar with my RUclips channel, after a while, older videos get lost in the mix so what I started doing is screen recording with my phone the best parts of the videos and creating RUclips shorts, those quick videos brought back to life my older videos because it gave exposure to what I had out there that people were not finding. Now I posting new videos on Mondays and Wednesdays and posting shorts Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays. I’m just starting my own label as well, once I get the ball rolling, I’m going to use some of these techniques to get ahead of the game.

I think the only nuanced principle here that’s hard to apply this logic to your music brand, is that people are looking to eat panda express food when they go to Panda Express, When they’re on social media, it’s more of like walking in a food court at the mall and you have a number of options.
You as an artist aren’t the only store front available with your music on social media, so as an artist, you must offer additional incentives at your store front (social media/brand) that make people love your store in addition to the food (music)

I believe if you approach it from the mall food court view the it makes more sense because the customer has more options to choose from. At that point what makes them stand out is the sample lady standing out in front of the store.

Back in the 1980s, when i went to danice clubs, they use to hand out sample test presses of up coming artists and even some established artist as well. What i got was a genre known as FREE STYLE. Some where decent others were not.

Amazing ! I need this. My daughter (she’s an artist) this week on her TikTok had 6M views with 3
Or 4 videos and over half million shares. We know we have to do something ASAP. I need this knowledge
