Yas! I love Epic Mickey! I saw that there's some new merch in foreign countries. And Disney has been rumored to be remastering a game. My money's on either Disney Infinity or Epic Mickey!
I only now appreciate what Splash Mountain was. The movie Song of the South was controversial but I'm hoping they keep some of the characters in the new ride
I will certainly never forget the last time I rode Splash Mountain... it was the first time I rode it alone and they put me in the front by myself and I got very scared by the big drop... but by the time it was over and everyone started singing, I felt proud and delighted. It was a truly magical moment.
I like the Frozen ride as well, but I always loved Maelstrom because of the cultural aspect. Educational attractions are some things that I have always loved.
You know, I think I could imagine the Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera possibly Have a second chance at either most Of the Six Flags or Warner Bros theme parks!
@@rudymalone1 I suppose you have a very good point about that, but what about the ride having another chance at any of the Universal Theme Parks? I know Universal technically doesn't own any of the rights to the entire H-B Company at all, expect being involved with The Jetsons Movie and The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera ride several years back, but still.
Frozen Ever After is probably the objectively better ride, but Maelstrom had this weird charm to it that I just loved. I much preferred Maelstrom, but I get why Disney did what they did.
The only rides on this list that I've been on were "Frozen Ever After" (both as its current state and its predecessor Maelstrom) and the Dumbo ride. The latter especially holds a big place in my heart since that's the ride I've always attended whenever I'm at Disney World, ever since I was little. Speaking of which, I love how WDW updated the ride with not only two sets of them, but also making an entire based on the circus with extra features like a playroom, fountains, and candy store.
I loved this video! It’s so cool!animatronic imagineers make such dope experiences! The best was the “Little mermaid experience” ride, and the Avatar experience. It was amazing
I actually got to the ride the Simpsons ride back in my Hollywood vacation in 2018. It was a amazing and fun ride and I do like how the ride satirizing the issues other rides have. I even love the Springfield replica at universal
I’d go as far as say that I think DINOSAUR is one of Disney’s scariest rides next to alien encounter, Snow White’s scary adventures, the haunted mansion, and it’s tough to be a bug
CTX was built with the movie Dinosaur in mind. They did have to change things a bit when the movie actually released, but it was always meant to be a tie in. Besides the name, the ride profile was changed to be a bit more gentle so it would be more appealing to children. The height requirement was lowered and some of the more intense spots softened up. And that iguanadon was always Aladar from the beginning as well, from before they changed his design to have lips and not a beak. That's why he's a friendly dino, trying to help. It was pretty crazy to be standing on that track with those animatronic dinosaurs. They are even bigger than you think, since the ride vehicles are raised up so high.
I love this video! And thank you Animat for showing Gabriel Iglesias aka Fluffy explaining Splash Mountain at 20:13 He’s one of my favorite comedians. 👏😁
Ah, yes. Dumbo. I actually once rode that ride at Disneyland Paris...in the middle of December. Complete with Icicles hanging off of Dumbo's nose. That was an experience.
Which Disney park were you in? The American ones in California and Florida are all in pretty sunny and tropical places, so a snow-covered Disneyland seems unlikely
Now that he has done a Top 10 Best Rides Based on Animated Films, I wonder if there are enough rides that qualify for a Top 10 Worst Rides Based on Animated Films, I know Stitch's Great Escape! would be a ride that would qualify for that list since not only that ride is considered one of Disney's worst attractions but that ride has also left a scar on the reputation of the Stitch franchise in North America and Honestly as a huge fan of the franchise, Stitch honestly deserved a better attraction. Anyone else agree?
"All aboard" It's awesome to find out which fun and interesting ride based on our favorite animated film like "Nemo's Undersea Voyage" and "Shrek 4D". Stay safe and keep doing what you're doing!
0:17 One day, someone's gonna ask you to review Fly Me to the Moon, Postman Pat the Movie and perhaps the worst of them all, Elf Bowling the Movie. BTW, I've only been on one of those rides and it's the number 1 on your list.
The Dumbo ride is NOT the only flying spinning ride in Disney world, there's Aladdin's Magic carpet ride in adventure land and the rockets from tomorrow land.
This.Video.Is.Amzing. I'm hoping to be an Imagineer at Disney when I'm older, so this video brought me so much happiness. It's always so much fun to know and watch people who love theme parks. My favorite video so far 🌺.
I would sell my soul to the devil himself to ride Masters of flight. If it comes to riding a ride dedicated to my favourite film in existance, i'd do anything.
I agree with your number 6. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorite rides. I also agree with your number 4. Buzz Lightyear Space ranger spin and Toy Story Mania are really fun attractions.
I remember going on the minions ride and had that preshow that had the fart gun, there was a funny moment then where gru "scans" you for any bacteria, and sirens go off, he says one of us hasn't showered in like a week and a light shined on me! It is so funny when that happens because they also present you on the 2 screens on the sides
I grew up in Florida, so I 100% agree with your picks from the Orlando parks. The Simpsons ride is my favorite ride at Universal, and I love just about every ride at Disney World. Thanks for making this list!
I’m glad I got to check this out first on Patreon before seeing this uploaded to RUclips. And this was a really good list. I recognized some of these rides, and remember having fun riding the ones from Disney World except for Frozen Ever After because my family went to Disney World way before the movie came out. And no, I never got the chance to ride Maelstrom.
That's new, I always wanted to see the persective of theme park rides. In fact the last time he mentioned them was in the 10 scary moments. This should be interesting.
Animat: All you do is spin around on Dumbo. What more could you ask for? I'd ask for machine guns on top, with a bomb carrier below and red velvet seats. Not to mention, 10,000 horsepower and OnStar.
EXCELLENT TOP 10 LIST! Never been on any of these rides (at least not I can remember, last time I went to even a Disney theme park was when I was a baby), but you made them sound so appealing.
There is one other honorable mention you might've forgot. Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast! And yes, it is an animated film as well. Anyway, when I was little, I couldn't help but ride it nonstop. I've been a sucker for crossovers my whole life. It perfectly balances a good story with a great thrill factor. It was also able to blend other animated programs in their respective styles together just perfectly. Ranging from Rugrats, Fairly Oddparents, Hey Arnold and SpongeBob. And the engineers also decided to try to throw in a few easter eggs throughout the first few seconds. But yeah, I personally loved this ride growing up and the fact that the Minions destroyed my childhood makes me hate them even more. But this is your list, and I respect you for them.
I ain't gonna lie, I unfortunately didn't get to see any of those rides at Walt Disney World (if any of them WERE there to begin with) because my time there when I went to Florida back in 2016 was kinda botched, and it especially sucks that I went there before Frozen Ever After opened cause now I really wanna see that. ☹ But at the same time, I did go in plenty of rides at Universal Orlando, and they really were awesome! Especially Minion Mayhem and the Simpsons ride!
❤️💖 There have been many rides I visit at Disney Parks but there are some I have yet to explored and go! I wished this pandemic can end and go back and visit more theme parks based on animated films! 😀😄😊 👍🏻 💖❤️
I wish there was an Owl House/Amphibia ride in Fantasyland but sadly, looking at the maps, I can't see where to add it. (I only saw the map for Disneyland to clarify.)
Frozen isn't bad but Maelstrom was much better. It felt like it had more Norwegian culture which is the whole point of the world show case. Frozen should have stayed in the Magic Kingdom. The Simpsons ride is also good but I wish Back to the Future's ride still existed.
I went to Disney World about a year ago for the Not So Scary Halloween Party. While my little bro forced my mom to ride Space Mountain in the dark, my dad and I went to ride Dumbo. My mom was not as happy as we were, coming off that ride-
Warning if anyone who use double blasters in Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters at Disneyland alone. Bring someone to manage the lever or may get a low score.

3:55-4:07 the FUNNIEST moment of this video, yet simultaneously so true! LOL
If Epic Mickey ever gets a Remastered or revival, then I still wanna still see these rides get the Beetleworx treatment!

I saw that there's some new merch in foreign countries. And Disney has been rumored to be remastering a game. My money's on either Disney Infinity or Epic Mickey!
That’s not how it works. They have to be forgotten to be in the game.
I only now appreciate what Splash Mountain was. The movie Song of the South was controversial but I'm hoping they keep some of the characters in the new ride

they could still keep some of the animals in the bayou

"I think Frozen Ever After is a more enjoyable ride than Maelstrom."
How could you say something so controversial yet so brave?
And something that's factual but so many people are blinded by nostalgia.
I don’t know, but I DEEPLY commend him for it
Frozen Ever After is probably the objectively better ride, but Maelstrom had this weird charm to it that I just loved. I much preferred Maelstrom, but I get why Disney did what they did.
I'm surprised he has the bad movies on DVD
Blame his fans for sending him films he hates to his PO box as a joke.
slashermaster28 And let alone, a joke that’s not even funny.
Well he still has to review three of them.
They’re useful to have around in case you ever need footage from them for a video.
He's gotta review them somehow!
I’m so excited for a princess and the frog ride!
I can confirm that when Me and my mom went to Universal back in 2014 we definitely agreed the Simpsons ride was the best part of the trip.😁👌
I also love Simpsons Ride and think Masters of Flight is the greatest simulator ever made for its emphasis on fun. Great list!

I’m hoping the Secret Life of Pets Ride will be good.

(Looks it up)
Oh! There's an upcoming SLOP ride!
Bowling Dude - Yeah, it was supposed to open a few months ago, then COVID happened.
Probably just like the minions and I hate that universal can’t even do a 2d animatronic heavey ride for me to go on
