To add my 2 cents, I have 6 different styles of Vivobarefoot that I alternate between. For me, the Magna Forest Esc and Magna Leather FG are both extremely comfortable and didn't need any breaking in. This Tracker Leather Low was the one Vivo I've struggled to break into - it really rubbed the skin on the top of my big toe, to the the point that I returned them. Good review, though.
Thanks for the feedback, others will find this info helpful. I sent this shoe back right away, as it was way too stiff, with bad foot mobility. I will agree with you about the comfort level of the Magna ESC and FG. Both had pretty soft leather especially the ESC. What other Vivo's are you rocking? Welcome to my channel!
Was literally looking for exactly what you said- I just want my bare basic Gobi Boots, but with this sole!! I already ordered these, so I'll cross my fingers about liking them, but I do really wish they had the Gobi boot plus tread.
haha! Yeah, the Gobi with the AT sole would be rad! I have had some subs complain about the sole separating from the Tracker leather boot, so be aware of that. I personally only trust their boots and shoes with a stitched on sole, because they have been very durable for me in the past. Welcome to my channel!
@ I wound up with the Tracker Leather AT Moc - and I would definitely recommend! They are more bare basics like the gobi, all leather and felt inside, stitched on All Terrain sole. First few days with them they feel great and they’re pretty much just what I was looking for 👍🏼
@@kerrycoombs3317 Great choice! That's a really cool boot with a traditional moccasin design. A leather boot with a stitched on sole is going to last you several years! Cheers!
Just my guess, but I think they want to make all of their footwear repairable. So the sole should be stitched on all of their shoes at some point? Cheers!
I bought a pair about 3 weeks ago. I found them new on vinted. Ive worn them almost every day for work and noticed today the sole is separating on both shoes at the stress point where the shoe bends on the outside edge!! Both shoes! This is where the tracker fg had the same issue. However the tracker fgs went a lot longer before separating. So Vivo’s idea to put a rubber strip to glue the sole to thinking it would be a better bond was a bad idea. Its worse! Sadly I bought them second hand which means Im stuck with them hand will have to mend them myself. I think the bond to the leather was stronger on the fgs. I don’t get it. I have a cheap pair of saguro shoes which is a nubuck leather. The sole is glued to the leather and I have worn them to death with no signs of separation! Come on vivo! Either charge less or get it right!
Dang! I'm sorry to hear that man! I've heard the tracker fg and tracker ESC have the same problem, but not in 3 weeks? I only recommend vivo's leather shoes with a stitched on sole for this very reason. I also only buy from vivo because they have a 100 day trial with free returns. Some of their old shoes had problems, and I was lucky enough to be in the 100 day trial window, so i could send them back. I'm on my 3rd pair of gobi desert boots since 2018, and i've never had the sole break loose from the threads. I just wore the sole down so low, i had to buy a new pair. I've hiked large mountain ranges, lived on a homestead for 2 years chopping firewood, used them for wood working and construction, and the only thing i had to replace was laces and insole. Vivo does have really good customer service, so I'd reach out and see what they say? Prob can't do anything because you bought them from a third party. Welcome to my channel!
@@primalpassionThanks for the reply. Sorry for the comment being posted 3 times, not sure why that happened. I'll get in touch and perhaps they can give me some repair tips that I can do myself. I will give the gobi desert a try. Not a fan of the recent colour ways. Hoping they release a darker tan nubuck leather.
@@Brad-gk4jb the Gobi comes in dark brown, and the Gobi lux has an all black boot you might like? I use to use shoe goo back in the day for my skate shoes? Good luck man!
Hey Alice, hope you are well! I'm pretty sure I'm sending these boots back because they are to heavy, bulky and stiff for me. I prefer a lighter more flexible boot such as the Gobi. Unfortunately the Gobi doesn't have aggressive tread for snow or rocky terrain. However I think this is a solid boot and I would Highly recommend it if you want something with more support and excellent traction. If I do decide to keep them, I will definitely make a review video! Cheers Alice!
43, and my foot measures 10.5" in Length. They run a little big, but I'd rather have extra toe room, as opposed to not enough. Vivo does free returns, so order a couple different sizes and send back what you don't want. Cheers!

I wish they had stitching on more of their models. I have a few pairs of vivos now and my tracker decons are by far the best.

All soles are glued on. All of them, even if they have stitching. I'm not saying it's not better to have stitching, it's just not an either/or thing.
Yes you are correct. I just looked at my Sensus and I can see the glue. Thanks for the info!
Usually just better to have both.
@@zodoGames I agree, adds strength to the shoe.
