14:00 I was definitely like that for Zuk. It was so frustrating how much you die on it that if it wasn't for the fact that failures still drop decent chunks of loot above death costs that keep the boss profitable and there's checkpoints I would have definitely given up. Really like the approach to Zuk in that respect as well as Archglacor. We need bosses like this where failure just means practice and you can learn the boss. I get that there's practice mode as you pointed out with things like brute forcing Telos, it encourages you to just bring a yak with food to at least *get* the kills even if you fail most of the mechanics consistently over trying to *learn* the boss and *dying.* I was that way with Araxxor. 3 deaths per kill was not profitable, so I played over-cautiously.
Honestly, I've watched this video 4 times and now my 5th as I get ready for class. Thank you for this video/guide. It's very wholesome and humble and 150% helpful. I've played RS since 2002, and have fallen into the trap of I need the BEST GEAR and BEST TIMES, with me losing the true fun and sense of the game. I should know better from playing other games, especially the dying aspect, and don't know why I don't apply that Runescape. Thank You again!

Gear is certainly not the most important part, however gear, skills etc they all help. Everything adds up, but gear can get you to "Good" but only learning can get you to "Great".
This vid is perfect for me! I'm a quite good PVM'er on OSRS, But RS3 is quite different ofcourse. Went from 800 total to 1900 within 2 months, and can do Glacor @ 200% enrage right now. Hopefully this'll make me push further. Thanks mate!
That Gordon Ramsey comparison Is on point and makes a lot of sense. You can't expect to beat Telos If you're struggling with low end bosses. I think that's where a lot of people give up. They go out and buy the bis gear and then wonder why they can't even beat something like Bandos for example who I wouldn't consider a boss anymore. If you don't take the time to learn mechanics, learn your different defensive abilities etc you won't make It at end game bosses. This Is coming from personal experience. It wasn't until I learned keybinds, switches etc that my pvm began to get better. I'm still struggling at certain bosses but I keep pushing myself because to fail Is to learn. Another thing I do that I heard InIt Yeah say was to record yourself when you die. Go back and watch why you died and learn from It.
Nice video nuzz nuzz, the second part was really motivating! Watched your rax video recently and then thersguy’s video on it yesterday and finally got my first kill today. The ring of death also takes a lot of pressure off of death costs.
Can you make a video on high end items and weird things, like over riding darts or blow pipe and blessed flask, etc idk I like the niche things that nobody really uses but yeah also defender video and how to get and use effectively always good videos
I struggled bad with Raksha at first, but once I started getting kills I was able to start trying new things which requires more risks.. but I'm 1k KC and still haven't got a spike! I have 3 Grico, 5 divert and 4 chain codex, pet! Something is wrong with that spike haha
I'm just starting to get into mid tier pvm (arch glacor max enrage is like 190%). What I've found difficult is not knowing why things aren't working. I do the actions I've been told or seen in guides but keeping track of all the icons, what is active and what isn't, why kills go so differently from using almost no food to going through and invent
13:30 biggest reason I wont do pvm. My excuse I use is the controls feel extremely unresponsive. But I know I'm just trying to avoid it. I'll try solo bosses but I will NEVER do group bosses that we can't just zerg. RIP to the comp cape dreams.
I feel you men. RuneScape feels challenging because I feel like my character doesnt do what I want it to do. Although I am definitely afraid of failing and the last section, while very obvious is my biggest obstacle. I use a corsair scimitar mmo mouse and all of my switches and defensives are on that. Shield is on 8 on the mouse, and all I have to do is move my thumb a key over for all of my defensives.
My biggest flaw is the fear to fail even when I know you have to fail to learn, I haven’t learned Telos just because I can’t remember what specials happen when and how to deal with them properly
I upgraded my nox staff for a staff of sliske and bought the magic t99 prayer and managed to beat my teraket pb by 22 whole seconds lol. so yea, gear is important!
I don't know if it's something anyone can help with, but I'm really struggling learning full manual. I need to prayer flick at most bosses, which means I'll often forget to activate any basic abilities, then wonder why I'm not gaining adrenaline. Then I'll forget to prayer flick and get destroyed. How do you manage to activate a basic every few ticks but also remain perfect at prayer flicking, eating, defensives etc?
i wouldnt ask for help myself as i got to many bosses i cant do yet. a few to name tho would be telos, raksha, i cant do normal fighting against helwyr like the old method. i can afk it tho however while i have the inquisitors staff. thats getting sold for grico when i get enough. but ive also not tried a lot of bosses either much or at all like solak, vorago, nex aod. and thats mostly cause i for sure dont wanna be the reason we lose. i did that before at rago, doesnt matter if they wasnt teaching me or not. i still should have at some point before looked at a guide but didnt and well, killed my team lol. after that ive not realy tried group bosses minus croesus tho i still suck at that.
I've always wondered why you don't put your SGB into an EoF, does ingenuity of the humans not work if not equipped while using magic? I'm currently 100m off an SGB so I'm wondering whether to put it in an EoF. Thanks!
I feel like the video would have been alot better if it was just teaching how to learn and measure improvement. Having a healthy mindset towards constant improvement at one small thing at a time will help alot more then gear in the long run.
Great video Nuzz, im stuck on the road for endgame content, problem is i cant do raksha, nor ed1, ed3, telos, i farmed nex, rax, ed2, i afked all gw2 bosses, now i tryed all gw3 content and after the ring nerf i cant be bothered switching so i chose not to even tho i liked kera nm also only managed to nm flawless zuk kill, cant pass wawe 5 on hm sadly, cant do post 300 enrage glacor, and croeusus is another dead content for me since its group boss, none of my friends play rs, infact they hate it, so other random people do not take learners, yesterday i tryed going in to croeusus fc, managed to get a team of 4, and one kill after they insta kicked me, just becuz i was learner and not good enough, it hurts that the game i rly loved turned out ot be such toxic community when it comes to group content. My gear is decent, i have sirenic, ascensions, cftmw, drygores, scythe, supperior zuriels, nox staff seismic wand, elite makigai (t88 mage offhand), gconc, gbarge, gflurry, maxed, eof, almost bis perks, all new tzhaar capes except hybrid, yet feel like i accomplished nothing, not even after most of the boss drop logs done, not even afker 1k nex rax kills, when it comes to the toughest content my skill lvl isnt high enough, so i need way better gear to justify it like cryptbloom which costs fortune, so basically feel like i burned out theres that. Idk if you can advice something, as u said u have dealt with this kinda of group pvm struggle so hopint for an answer. Great content stillenjoy watching ur vids keep it up.
The same boat as you, I'm stuck doing Rax, Nex and ED2, group bosses aren't really an option since I have no IRL friends that play this game and the pvm community can be pretty toxic if you are still learner despite these bosses being years old (I really do want to try out Vorago and Solak one day) and I dont do enough dps for bosses like the Ambassador and Raksha.

I would say, gradually add keybinds over time. Become familiar with a few key binds and then start adding more and more.

For melee Attack is critical, Strength is just a bonus. Imo
I'd say alot of people need to prioritize skilling herblore, getting curses, and invention definitely will help alot.

I remember when I first started to play I would type with one finger. Now we are pvming with shift alt and ctrl keybinds haha. How times fly.

It tooke about 20 deaths to learn Raksha. Just keep trying and you will get it down eventually
