Nice video, but how about when chiller is partially low on refrigerant and you've fixed a leak. Method for charging partial charge vs entire charge. Really dialing charge in.

Those Navac units are so much better than trying to lug a 300 lb rsr up to a flights of stairs.

Hey, great content lately! Have you ever used a liquid pump for moving large volumes of refrigerant?

No I haven't used an actual liquid pump, I am familiar with them and I've had them recommended but I've had such good success with pumping liquid through the appion and navac pumps that have not found it necessary to try. What is your thoughts on them?

I work for the big carribian blue mother ship. I use a liquid pump pretty regularly and it's a game changer for speeding things up. I'm going to try your push pull method next chance I get.

Would you be interested in a Chiller Community Group to discuss and share stuff like this? It's not free, it requires being enrolled in chilleracademy.com but would love to have you there.

Great video, I'm just pulling 230# out of an air cooled for the first time as we speak. As someone who recently made the switch from residential to heavy commercial I appreciate all the great content. It's really helped build my confidence level.
On a side note I would love to see a video on the operation of drain and fill valves, and air cooled economizer operation and parameters 🍻

@Fuhkheadd I have an economizer video but I can make one specific to the the yciv. I do have a older video where I go through in detail the yciv refrigeration circuit. I have a chiller community for those enrolled at chilleracademy.com if you'd ever like to have somewhere to go chat Chillers and get support and mentorship.
