The best band of the 70's , back then people didnt understand their true genious. Today the whole world can tune in and they will get the recognition they deserve.
That was astounding!! Was there anything that these guys COULDN'T do!? The original 10cc could play circles around just about any other act of the times! Long Live 10cc!!! 🎸🎸✊✊
'Sheet Music' is a great album. one of my personal faves 10cc is, and will always be genius. talented. brilliant. let's bask in their glory for a moment... for a lifetime...
Great musicians with interesting songwriting, demonstrating here that they were more than just a studio concoction. Do wish the camera would show more of the focus of the playing. A lot nifty guitarring time spent showing us the percussion. Sheet Music, like all pre-departure of G&C 10CC LPs, is absolutely brilliant.
A wonderful extended version of my favourite song from Sheet Music. I mean, every song on that album is a masterpiece, but I've always had a soft spot for this one.
so greeeeaaaattttt ! i know 10cc since 1977 and never ever got tired of listening to their music!...love the shirt Graham Goldman is wearing....pitty he doesnt have a fanshop ..i would buy one on the spot! :-)
Just shows how well read these guys are in terms of writing songs: Who today would write a song about a religious figure of the Voodoo belief? OK, live and let die was released around the same time as this song, but the lyrics do NOT mention James Bond at all.
😂The greatest band from the greatest era of music(70s,). Then 80s onwards music started on a downward spiral. Thankfully I have all my 70s albums still.
first concert I ever went to was 10cc at the Perth entertainment center more than 30 years ago! I was in love with I'm not in love. still think they where remarkable in their range, and musicianship. thanks for posting
I wonder if the director ever felt the professional ineptitude of missing all of the bass runs and not filming a close of of the bass until 3:40 when GG wasn't playing 🙄
Just Awesome :o) Thanks. I had a guitar when I was little but always wanted to play the bass (and did when I could afford one) ... Graham Gouldman is why :o)
Saw them three times at Glasgow's Apollo perform in their Sheet Music tour, they were superb. Would have been 4 if Lol Cream hadn't lost his voice! Fantastic band live, great music, very clever lyrics in their songs. The first band I ever saw with two drummers. Not seen Graham Gouldmans 10CC yet, holding back in case I'm disappointed. Please someone tell me that I WON'T be!!!
+weebolddavy You won't be disappointed with Graham's 10cc. Their sound is great. I came over twice from Holland to see them play Royal Albert with Sheet Music tour last may. To see the original band playing is a dream for many of us...
+weebolddavy Saw GG et al at Royal Albert Hall last year and haven't stopped listening to 10cc since.... life changing! Seeing them this year in Margate.... can't wait! Try and see them!
+James George Unfortunately Margate is a wee bit far. As far as I know they're not touring in the UK this year, hopefully next year, will make a point going to see them
you won't be disappointed with Graham gouldmans 10cc saw them last night in Norwich, sound quality and musicianship were superb. I think the guy playing the bong bongs in this video is in the current touring band as drummer.
Thanks very much for posting this. With today's broadcast insistence on packaged pellets of "song" with little latitude for musical expansion, it's refreshing to hear this terrific extended arrangement played (and recorded) so well. These arrangements available on "10cc in Concert" if you can find it.
Lol switches to his Gizmo-equipped Stratocaster at 3:26 but appears to play it as a regular guitar through to the end of the song, when he holds the final chord on the Gizmo from 5:00 . I should think they segued into "Old Wild Men" next, which is worth looking up if you want more Gizmo.
Thx for posting this! One of my fav 10cc songs, even better live! Does anyone know if there is any concert footage from the "10cc in Concert"/King Biscuit Flower Hour released on CD back in the late 90's, specifically looking for Baron Samedi from that disc.
No, he was the fifth member when they performed live. He did a great job but his purpose was to allow Kevin to sing lead and to play other instruments.
I love this more than I can say. I wish the cameraman had shown a bit more of Lol and Eric's lead guitar work at the end.
The best band of the 70's , back then people didnt understand their true genious. Today the whole world can tune in and they will get the recognition they deserve.
10cc - G&C I agree the best bands of the seventies are not Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin or The Who it’s tencc
@@jean-marieboucherit4716 you are SO right!!!! Nicely put x
Some of us did

Only people who brought their. Albums in the 70's heard this side of 10cc really great band

Sheet Music, like all pre-departure of G&C 10CC LPs, is absolutely brilliant.
Wow, Kevin Godley and Paul Burgess tearing it up on percussion.
Dang...they were such a great live band as well as studio wizards......Best of the best........
Most underrated band ever.
How can they be "underrated"?!? They have topped the charts so many times, and "I'm not in Love" is one of the ever-aired songs...
Wonderful this by one of THE bands of the 1970s..........Note perfect.
The casual greatness of Graham's bass playing! I wish I could do it as fast!
10cc and Sparks were the smartest bands of the 70's.
Lol playing some tasty lead and trading licks with Eric here. Eric is, of course, a legend but Lol was no slouch.
Eric is just so beautiful.. an amazing singer/songwriter/musician. love him
With a voice to match.
What a great song and video of this band. Thank you for sharing it.
These guys rock !! I'm really into 10cc and I am so glad people are posting rare videos. Thank you !!!!!!
This should've been the soundtrack to "Live and Let Die"
Great to see! I also love the version on the King Biscuit Flower Hour 1975 CD. 10cc rules!
“So when they start their kick @$$ solos, let’s cut to drums and some tinsel.” 🤣
Love me some 10cc, Sheet Music is genius!
Unbelievably ignorant director!
10cc totally rule! Their first two albums reek of awsomeness!
A wonderful extended version of my favourite song from Sheet Music. I mean, every song on that album is a masterpiece, but I've always had a soft spot for this one.
Still performed live by Graham's touring 10cc today. Fab!
Cool song! Supercool band!
so greeeeaaaattttt ! i know 10cc since 1977 and never ever got tired of listening to their music!...love the shirt Graham Goldman is wearing....pitty he doesnt have a fanshop ..i would buy one on the spot! :-)
I asked Graham for this shirt butst is not there anymore

Gould what an amazing base player unbelievable.
Same guy who wrote hits for the Hollies, Herman's Hermits & Spencer Davis.

Excellent, this video and other are in the Tenology box set. Sweet!
Fantastic! I didn't expect to find this live on RUclips. Wonderful. Thanks.
Thats because Old Wild Men probably followed it where he does play the gizmo

He is a great bassist. Very melodic and MacCartney-esque.
An amazing song and performance. Too bad the audience at 1:36 couldn't get into what these mad pop geniuses were doing.
One of my favourites from sheet music

Eric was so beautiful
He was OK but Lol was just perfect ;)
Eric stewart was a genius that's why he worked with Paul mcartney 😎
Fabulous band all 4 of them totally unique
He certainly enjoyed boyish good looks into his thirties but his face was scarred by a road accident in 1979 that damaged his left eye and ear.
First Class!!
Amazing band!!!
A tight ensemble in tight ensembles.
I like it it has great vocals
Just brilliant
i can't live w/o this live footage... needs me some live performance 10cc :)
Is that Paul Burgess on congos?
@ 4:07 Eric catches fire!
Wow! This goes beyond the album.
Pure genius!
Met 3 of them
He can't be beat...when it comes to that...beat! :)
Real LIVE music!!! Yeah!

This version kicks the shit out of the studio version!
ingenious
@Nox404
Yes, that's Paul. I met him in march last year. Kind, quiet person and good drummer.
Love
Le jam!
Wow!
Gizmo sighting at 4:20.
Wow good eye...I'll be damned.

Absolutely!!!
boss 'proper who could play.
Very interesting video

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Making fun of The Eagle’s style at the time no doubt😂
how awesome is Paul Burgess here, alongside the Godley-ness?
Paul Burgess was the backbone of this band.
No, he was the fifth member when they performed live. He did a great job but his purpose was to allow Kevin to sing lead and to play other instruments.
e mais ou menos
Technically inventive though not quite as brilliant as on "Sheet Music"...
It's a difficult song to play live. It's much easier in the controlled environment of a studio.
Never got em
That's a great shame. You've missed out.
The Album version sounds much much better - ahahah!..
It's pretty demanding song to bring live. I'd say that the soloing is a great addition here.
