Unfortunately, many things in life, are abandoned when they have so much potential. Including but not limited to, video games, and mods. There's this old mod for an old game i used to play which hasn't had an update since like 2008. It actually looked pretty good too! Also if mods are the kinda thing you're into, and you like strategy games, i recommend the games, "starwars empire at war" and, "Xcom 2, war of the chosen." They have some very fun and cool mods. But of course if you're not into strategy thats alright. :)

Actually there is the same mod in the Windows 10 Version. The lava biome and the whole thing is done and finished with all the mobs. It also has the big gun with the mountain island. And i remember it having a seamoth too.
In your frozen leviathan video, you pointed out the developers said it was always intended to be dead. The wording to me is unusual because they didn’t straight out say it was. They said it was INTENDED, to be dead. 2 theories. 1, they are dancing around the subject because it’s alive and they don’t want us to know it is till the full release. Or 2, they had intended it to be dead, but because of the pleads from fans, they made it so it was alive and aren’t telling, because the fans wanted it. I just feel like their wording was weird.
The ai is weird, if the mods still being worked on that should replace the fishes ai with the fish found in vanilla minecraft. I’m pretty sure they use boid flocking, so immersion would be way better
Hey Speedy I watched your video about the for skeletal remains but there is one thing bugging me on the theta remains the outer shell is damaged and to me it look's like a type of bite mark so maybe overtime the fauna around the area ate off the remains or a bigger predator like creature took a bite from the remains and then some type of water parasites ate the skin after the predator creature took a bite (hope this make's sense)
Speedy the hole feeeeeesh (fish) has a hole on its tail and in subnautica if you have a grav trap out in the water if you hold a hover fish in side a habitat it goes to space
i think know why the shaders dont work. some shaders dont work well in the nether or the end. this is because the shader needs to be coded for the dimention if it has a different thing for shaders. im assuming the mineautica mod doesnt have a thing for shaders so it probebly doesnt work. i could be wrong so dont take my word for it but thats what i think is happening
Sometimes it’s hard for the devs to code it because they can’t get it to work. It would be possible to do this stuff but it would take a lot of work. That is possibly the reason they abandoned it.

It's possible that bacteria or the spinefish which live near the creatures remains could have decomposed it.
