I have one of these too and I absolutely LOVE it! I found it had a bit of a learning curve, but not bad. I keep the setting on medium. When my hair gets rolled up, I stop it, and after about a count of 10, I just pull it down and my hair comes out nicely. No need to keep it rolling to get the hair out. My hair is a tad longer than yours. It's fun to use.

+Maraiah Crystal Designs it's the best foundation ever!!!!!! i'm a foundation junkie i've tried them all high end to drugstore and this is the first one i actually love. I have combo skin too some parts are dry some are oily and this leaves my face just the way i want. doesn't clog my pores and no breakouts what so ever! great coverage lasts all day i'm obsessed (as you can tell!)
+Maraiah Crystal Designs i hated that foundation! I have pretty combo/oily skin and it looked awful on me after less than 6 hours.. The coverage was nice and the finish was too but i recommend staying away from it if your skin isnt fairly normal.

I have and love this curler! I was told the sound the InstaWave makes when it is plugged in is caused by the circuit to drive the motor. It's completely safe to use :)

Judy, this reminded me of one of your early videos of a tutorial on full curly big hair with flat iron when you lived somewhere else and as far as i remember, there was a board in the background that had random photos pasted on it! That was soooooooo many years ago! hahaha! seems like yesterday!

ahh I got this curling iron when it first came out and I love it to this day still! my hair does not hold curl because it's long and straight and heavy but this thing does the job and the curls stay in throughout the next day! although mine does make that noise too so I guess it's within every product! definitely get it!

Judy, have you heard about the younique makeup? I've seen a video posted on Facebook today, maybe I'll find it an post to your wall, but it's suppose to be a serum like foundation that you put 5 drops onto a powder brush and it's suppose to go on really nice an evenly, like a foundation that turns into powder.
Would love to hear your opinion on the foundation and mascara.

You did pretty good with this product!
I bought that but I returned. i really actually like that curling iron! it just didn't work with my hair type :( I have really frizzy wavy hair. it worked really well when I straightened my hair beforehand. I would recommend this to people with straight hair

All I kept thinking of when you were curling was the video of the girl who caught her hair in the electric mixer. lmao!! So glad it didn't rip your head apart. The curls look beautiful!!
That humming sound you hear is just the iron warming up, it stops as soon it has reached its hottest point. (I heat up mine to 360 degrees)
I have very thick hair and am not to good with a traditional curling iron, the KISS has been a savior for me! I love it! Plus, it beeps when your curl is ready to be released. My hair is color-treated and is in pretty good shape and I want to keep it that way! ;)
If you do have thicker, longer hair; I would recommend taking smaller sections of hair, just to be on the safe side and not to cause any heat damage. Now, that my hair is long, I take smaller pieces. ;)

When you picked up the box I was like oh hell naw lol but pleasantly surprised! My arms ache like crazy after curling my hair since it's so thick it takes forever so I can see the benefit there
