I just recently got back into this after playing Uni-Clr for a good while, alongside other fighters. I'm running Linne/ Weiss right now and I was thinking of switching Weiss for Yumi. I actually looked up that database and saw that there is one player who runs Weiss & Linne who goes by Zate. Much appreciated. I'll definitely keep experimenting.
This was an interesting video. I've been playing the game since launch and I main Es/Akatsuki and Celica/Yang though I'm currently learning Orie/Mai on the side recently. The synergy between Es/Akatsuki and Celica/Yang is interesting. Es/Akatsuki do a decent job of covering their weaknesses and enhancing their strengths while providing excellent corner carry and fun lockdown potential. Celica/Yang is kinda one-sided in that it benefits Celica more than Yang though Yang does have some setups that can allow Celica to safely use 4P, so that's nice
Hey came across this since I picked up BBTAG on sale and knew it's getting rollback soon. Thanks for a thorough guide! Info seems to be a bit more scant on this fighter.
Pretty good video I just got back in to bbtag a couple of months ago the team's I've come up with Merkava/ Susano'o (main), Jubei/ Nine (secondary) and Teddie/ Rachel as my pockets.
So since you're a high level player in both GBVS and BBTAG. Would you consider making a video talking about what skills transfer and how they transfer from FG to FG? Seeing how both are wildly different (to me at least)
Good vid. Been playing since launch & have put in lots of time trying assist combos & various characters. Mained Haku/Tager, and sub Teddie/Labrys. Also tried Labrys/Tager, and other teams. Tough to know how good the synergy is for each team. Maybe they work, though.
Haven't played the game in a while but I've had a craving to come back to it for some reason and I wanted to check if Kanji/Linne is at least playable. I mained both of those in their original titles and what I saw of the one video to feature someone playing them they seem to have some style together
I usually like to mess around with Ragna/Heart combo (also use Merkava alot as well) and use Teddie and Hakumen sometimes. I don't necessarily how this fares. If anyone wants to give a few ideas (I don't have 2.0 yet)
Yo, that was great. i've been playing Es/Yu since launch, and i've always struggled with their gameplan together- i do understand each of their gameplans when they're by themselves tho. what i've been doing until now is using assists to enable their individual gameplans (for example- use Es 6P to let Yu get close and hit the opponent with 5A). is this approach correct or should i look for something else? edit: that question came out awfully specific. what i meant to ask was- is a the gameplan of two characters just the point character's gameplan, enabled by the assist, or is it something more than that? I suppose it's the latter, but then, how can an individual character's gameplan be expressed? not counting the situation when the assist has died.
Thanks! I like to think of it as your point characters gameplan changes depending on what assist/partner you have available. For exanple, you would use Es 6p differently than other characters 6p to approach. But there are other synergies such as characters covering gaps in the partners matchup weaknesses or compensating for damage that also come into play as well.
Yea BBTAG almost always has more people then GBVS. A good part of it is because the lobby system is better. I think S2 GBVS next month will make the lobbies better
Yea I think they have strong synergy and are both strong characters. Check out the TAG discord’s yosuke channel, they can point you in the right direction

I watched this, and now I understand optimisization a little harder
So now I roll with Weiss/Yukiko.
I love Yuzu/Liz though so imma stick with it lol

Yea I'll definitely consider it, sounds fun to make. I think more stuff transfers over than people think
Rollback has brought me here
If course Tager would be the one character on there without a synergy chart haha
The synergy is wald lol
How to bully with Yuzu XD is a video I would love to see

Yea - it's tough to know synergy right off the bat. Since not all synergy is obvious. I think the more you play the easier you can see stuff though.
@@Diaphone Yep. I'm guessing the synergy is passable, though I plateaued at yellow square gold rank. Thanks for the reply.
good vid dude!

I main Hyde/Naoto, Hyde/Yu, and Seth/Hyde.
A team I want to succeed with is teddie and tager
Same! You should check out this guy - he plays this team www.twitch.tv/moustachedvillain

2.0 is a free update.. you might actually have?
@@Diaphone I have 2.0, but I don't have the characters bought yet. But I do plan to get it.
Absolute gem! time to copy someone's ass off 😂👍🏾
Ok but Adachi and Blitztank
😳
My main team has been adachi/susanoo but lately I’ve been doing tank/mitsuru. I am very stupid

Me who runs Es Noel and starting the game 4 days ago:
Does BBTag lobbies usually have players in them? I have a hard time finding people in GBVS unless its peak hours
In ps4 we have at least 60 people all day (except early mornings).

@@Diaphone damn for real??? Rip gbvs
On switch there's always around 50-60 people in lobbies, except for early morning
@@randykim6590 Game needs to go on sale and s2 needs to come out. I think it will solve these issues lol
Do Yu/Yosuke support each other well?

so what you're saying is pick your main
then pick yumi
gotcha
😂🤣
I mean you aren't wrong, as long as you like yumi 😂
@@Diaphone i like her
