Thank you very much. Honestly first time I've ever saved a Sharpie. No other tutorials have worked. Believe me i have no life lol so I've been looking. Plus i live in a tiny town that has no stores except a gas station and grocery store basically. So it's almost 4 to 5 bucks before tax for one sharpie. Thanks again.

i use the pen+gear silver for 1/24 and 1/64 diecast it works well, just takes forever to dry and when it’s dry i’m smears easily so u have to be careful

Dude, awesome! It works. Most of the other videos show add alcohol or whatever. Tried that paper around the tip. It's like brand new. Thank you very much. Also important to store tip down. Thanks.

    Nice tips! (pun intended)
What I do is use centrifugal force. I grab the pen, tip pointing away (with the lid on!) and just do a very fast semi-circular "throwing" motion with my arm to sling the ink to the tip. Works wonders to flow the felt tip.
However, I do think these metallic ones should come with a manual.

...and then the marker paint flies out of the pen and goes *EVERYWHERE* 😖

Just curious, is there a specific chemical weather alcohol? Acetone or just in case I found an old box of sharpies. Pretty much totally dried out. I think the only ones I found that did not work. They suggested acetone or alcohol water. I guess I'm getting tired of searching RUclips and Google but I must say wrapping paper around the tip squeezing twisting a little bit back and forth brought some of my newer ones back to life. Thanks in advance. I couldn't get myself to throw it out cuz it was only 6 months old. The one that I utilized your technique. Just wondering about some of the older ones. I can't get myself to throw out that are really old lol. Thanks

@NelsonCummings I’d try alcohol water first also try taking the tips out and flipping them over I’ve done that to but didn’t show it in this video thanks for watching!!

Have you noticed any of the silver metallic signatures fading over time?
