I'm an old dude who used to play Bill Walsh's College Football on Sega Genesis and Tecmo Bowl on the OG Nintendo (or better yet, actual arcade games in actual real life arcades). I had this same concern after trying to play Madden in recent years. From what I gather though, that feeling is more a result of the poor game play of Madden than it is us forgetting how to play.... But I can admit my skills might be a little rusty on "the stick."

@@Yoboy2300 I play madden franchise offline but online franchise is different beast. If u like competitiveness than online is where it’s at but mostly I play offline for my own entertainment and consistency
So when is more info coming out? Almost a month since the last blitz of news. We are now inside 30 days from early access and still no deep dives on Dynasty, RTG, Presentation, ect.
Looks like its engine has a few glitches and many rumors confirm this (i.e., players don't behave realistically in many situations). Expect a bunch of large updates in its first year of release.
@@SometimesCompitent Glitches have been spotted in some of the few clips of the gameplay that were released. Easy to spot flaws in player reactions for people who have actually played football in real life. Again, I hope they can correct them before it's release, but I'm skeptical.

People who are trash on day one are the same people who need cheap plays and glitches to win. They have to learn the CPU because they don't have time to learn football AND figure out how to glitch the AI. Once they figure out the glitches then they can make it look like football and use money plays when they are desperate

I don't understand how they can say 5 and 4 stars are just drastically better than walk-ons....when Baker Mayfield and tons of other players were low rated and/or walk-ons and performed better than 5 star recruits in games. It's like they are talking without thinking....just get on YT and talk. Why would somebody be able to walk-on to a team? Because they can play at the college level? Regardless, having a big skill gap isn't new and shouldn't be accepted as some revolutionary change to CFB when we had FCS teams and ULMonroe / ULLafayette getting blasted by 100
where’s the deep dive announcement ea?? We need more deep dives and you guys only got a couple weeks too show ‘em off before the game is released because there not showing a deep dive the week of July 4th

All you gotta due if you guys are behind id say change the difficulty and play exhibition from rookie and up. I play games alot so its different for me but with any new game i usually start at the middle of the road difficulty until a couple games then i turn it up
I didn’t buy a Xbox one or a ps4 because of this game. I have only bought 2 games since ncaa14. I did buy an Xbox X as soon as this game was announced. But still playing the 360 more lol. As soon as CF25 is out, I will finally retire the 360.

@@xman777b I think they’re in a tough spot because they need to make content but they probably don’t know 100% of everything. I try to focus my blame on EA rather than the content creators. I totally share your overall frustration though.
Found a series X on FB marketplace for $250 i was looking for a PS5 but people are scamming for those like a mf. So settled on Xbox and glad it has cross play and remote play.

We keep hearing a lot of talk but when are we going to see something. A month ago and we've seen nothing. A small little pretend deep dive. Deep dive lasts longer than 5 minutes and should actually show a full play. Not snippets a plays

The game has definitely changed. I miss the days of Us doing the juking. Now you have to wait for the animation to happen before you can do another move.
