ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Bro I subscribed to this channel since 2013, I was 15, now that I earn my own money I can afford all the figures I wanted back then :’) and I still enjoy this channel’s content as 10 years ago, keep it up man!
X-Men '97 Wolverine is certainly the best tiger stripe from Hasbro. However, unless you are a major Wolverine fanatic, it's not worth the upgrade over other releases.
Even if it took a while I'm almost happy to have missed the other Wolverine figurines since with this one I'm going to directly have one with the best costume imho and pinless joints.
The sculpted claws alone are better than the crooked loose claws of the older releases.
The pinless tech makes it worthwhile.

I didn’t buy when it came out because I had the same opinion, but I am a sucker for logan, so after all this time i got him(i have every tiger stripe logan).
I payed 25€ so it’s fine i guess
he looks amazing but i’m still so bummed they didn’t give him a growling or screaming/rage head 😢

Easily the best wolverine to date from legends.
This version of Wolverine was my favorite as a kid. I would like to get this version of it but will chance getting it at a lower cost.
Honestly, I hope the next Wolverine they do is the brown and gold with the pin-less tech, but here's a bit of wish list
- Screaming interchangeable head or battle torn head
- I think he should get the Spidey diaphragm joint for better pose ability
- Painted sculpted arm hair lol
- I definitely liked the sculpted gauntlets and underpants, would be cool to see that for the brown shoulder pads
- Maybe do a silver finish on the claws would be dope as well
- Wolverine definitely needs toe articulation
Finally someone who does a side by side with the Apocalypse BAF Wolverine. I had that figure but gave it away to my little cousin so my xmen team became incomplete. Was wondering how this new one compared to the BAF one so i would know to grab this new figure or put up the money for the BAF figure. This new figure is by far the better looking figure.
This is a great figure!! I’m with you though once I got mine I noticed the yellow on the body had a gloss finish while the head and legs had more of a flat finish. Overall glad to have him in my collection. Awesome reviews as always.👍🏼

I’m having a hard time with the $24.99 price point these days. Wolverine and Bishop might be the only two I pick up from this line.

Yeah the yellow and tan uniform is dope and I liked the rounded claws on that mafex figure too
It's probably the best tiger stripe Wolverine from an articulation/mold standpoint but I actually like the brighter shade of blue on the 90s animated wolverine better. This shade just seems...off? It's too much of an aqua color. 90s animated also had the angry head which is by far the best head. This one doesn't have the cell shading that everyone hated though.
I bought two and gave the second one a regular belt so I could have the 97 one on the Jim Lee shelf, replacing that Wolverine, and the one with the regular belt replace the one from the Hulk 2 pack on my Claremont shelf. It's nice to have claws that aren't sliding around every time I touch the figure on top of how nice he looks due to the pinless joints.
Now we just need a brown suited one on this new body.
BTW, I know you love them, but I think the Mezco Wolverine looks terrible due to the soft goods.
I honestly didn't have an issue porting the heads on, so idk if that might just be a defect or what.
The best wolverine so far, would prefer the arm hair painted and maybe better painted stubble on his chin, love the head sculpt otherwise ! And hoping for a bezerker rage wolverine w wounds showing his metal bones

Both the Love Triangle 3 pack and Bonebreaker wave Wolverine figures are my favorites However......., I might get him because he does look so cool to have especially those very dope sick looking claws, I hope Hasbro can do a Jean Grey and Cyclops because I want to display them as their Jim Lee comic versions, Fun review.
Hasbro made a LOT of new parts for that VHS Cyclops. They're going to make a new/non-cel shaded version of that figure, trust me. They're too cheap not to get some more use out of that mold lol
I still feel the Toy Biz Xmen Classics Tiger Strike Wolverine from 2004 is still the best 1/12 Wolverine. Yes it has the play feature in the back but the Head is Perfect but more perfect is the shoulder pads are big and shiny blue. I don't like the Hasbro Shoulder pads for Wolverine. Sure, the pads might break up the articulation but looks better.
This figure is a winner. I've only been collecting Marvel Legends since 2020, but have been able to catch the most recent updates/upgrades of alot of characters.

Can you swap the heads with the VHS box Wolverine, so he can have a growling face?
You CAN swap the heads because it's the same upper torso, but the skin tones are very different. VHS Wolverine is pale but 97 Wolverine is tan. It's a very noticeable difference in person

Call me crazy, but this is THE best 6-inch Wolverine figure ever made! Not just Legends, I’m talking from any line, and that includes Mafex. Yeah the Mafex Wolverine figures come with astronomically better accessories (no argument there), but to me? The base figure is significantly more important than the accessories
And when it comes down to the base figures, I’ve always found the Mafex Wolverine figures to be too lanky and too tall to accurately convey Wolverine’s iconic sillhoute from the comics.
Hasbro’s Wolverine mold on the other hand PERFECTLY illustrates Wolverine’s short and stocky proportions. Hasbro’s older Wolverine figures were already pretty awesome, but this new just takes it even further by making logical updates where they’re necessary (pinless joints, sculpted shorts, and better claws).
Sometimes the best product arises when you don’t overthink things and listen to customer feedback about your previous versions

Back when you could get it for retail price a few years ago, I bought the Mafex tiger stripe Wolverine, took the heads out of the packaging, and then immediately sold the figure that same day on eBay. I've been rocking that look since the Marvel Legends Love Triangle Wolverine came out and I'm rocking that look now with this new Wolverine. It looks SO good!
I think with some better claws and articulation, that would hold true.
And the claws on this one are animation perfect

I 100% agree because Hasbro makes Wolverine short, Both Mezco and the Mafex Wolverine figures are a little tall than Logan should be.

He is the best marvel legends figure hasbro he get the mafex figure and he created this figure but in marvel legends.
It's a good figure but legs are too thick and less muscular. I used body of hulk 2 pack Wolverine body with this new Wolverine head and blue shoulder pads. Now I think it's perfect Wolverine
If the Street Humams gets backed I hope Shart will consider eliminating the untucked underwear look.

This is the best marvel legends Wolverine. Pinless, great maskless headsculpt, straight molded Blades. By the way, i may be in the minority but i dont like the mezco Wolverine. Not enough muscle definition in the chest, torso, and legs. Looks too much like a regular guy in Wolverine pjs.

he's a wonderful Wolvie, but I couldn't throw down money straight away because of his orangey fake-and-bake skin tone. better than the strange light mocha of the apocalypse wave, but I like more of a pink hue for him, because in my mind, he cannot tan because of his healing factor, and Canadian folk are kinda pink.
