The slip and slid is fun until you hit one of those tent pegs and gash your leg open... "Summer fun at the E.R." cut a pool noodle open at the ends and middle and line the slip and slid or use sections of the pool noodle to cover those tent pegs.
I know I always spray paint all of my projects in white high heels.

I already have the tomato cage/basket in my yard for the kids but balls work much better than frisbees 👍🏼
I do like the idea with the glue gun and the towel making pockets for the book and the sunscreen lotion. For me it would last just long enough until I got to the beach, and in the hot sun the glue would fail, everything would fall into the sand and my towel would become just a towel again. I'd end up having to buy a beach bag at the boardwalk.......
Wow that could be great project with my daughter's for their kids ...

Great video as it's now summer where I hail from. Great hand acting! We need feet in there somewhere.
We did the s’mores thing at our daughter’s open house (yay, 2016!). She wanted to have a bonfire, but that was the year temps were in the high 90s, so we had to have it indoors. We used cake pans filled with sand to protect the counters from the Sterno.
Make your own wet slides, and the manufactured ones are dangerous. Pediatricians wanted them banned for years.
Why were they banned? The kids need to be careful not to hit the stakes anchoring tarp to the ground.
The trick is to check the area for things they could crash into. We played with slides for years and the only “injury” I recall is when my friend slid off the end and landed on a bee.
As an artist and mom I say REALLY?!
So for the first hack, go and buy a $300 projector....

Seem about white, in the hood we drank out of the water hose & raced bikes for fun
Rocky: good times, right?! We didn't live in the hood; just in the woods (outside St.Petersburg FL city limits). We drank sulfur water out of the hose (yuk), and swung over the ditch, hanging onto Australian pine branches, and caught tadpoles. For more fun, my dad would dig holes for us kids "just to see what was down there", and how high the water table was. My mom said we were just poor white trash, but I felt really lucky to live so close to nature.
