    Special thanks to @Carousel_Kid, @MrRegalMasquerade, @Memethyst, @WilliamDurvale, and @Boy_of_the_Cones for helping me find pictures and for giving advice on how to edit the audio. Your help allowed this recreation to be possible.

    Such a unique attraction. My favorite part was actually the upstairs portion. I can see why Walt Disney spent his last years trying to create something like that for real. It isn't very practical, but what an amazing idea that spawns so many more ideas!

    I was there and lived it back in the day. This was one of the most feel good about life, feel good about yourself, and feel good about the future there was for a young, wide eyed kid in California. This recreation is the closest and best I can find of that memory. Such good vibes and optimism about what the future held for all of us. How sad the reality is of what came to be.

    Last seen by me in 1973 in Disneyland, & looking forward to my first WDW trip in 2022. My grandma took me to Disneyland every year when I was a kid, and this was def one of her favorite attractions. (The cringey mother stuff was just real felt stuff to her then. That’s history folks.) Almost 50 years later I’d love to see it again in memory of my lovely grandma. Ahhh, nostalgia. But oh it’s not the same at this point, so thx for the vlog, it’s super great to experience the almost past vicariously.

      @@carouselofprogressrecreati2445 So basically by this footage, you do prefer Carousel of Progress at Disneyland and not America Sings, I'd rather Prefer Carousel of Progress at Disney World like it is today, but have the same kind of building they have at Disneyland, a curved ramp up to the second level to see the Progress City Model, and have the Peoplemover also go through it.

    • @BC-rc2dq
      @BC-rc2dq Год назад +1

      The ramp to the second floor at Disneyland was the exit from the Progress City model. The audience exited the theaters via the last stage, up a speed ramp to Progress City. It was amazing. It was just the best attraction, with the Rex Allen narration. Hoping they give it a major update at Magic Kingdom. Needs a new last scene, and restore the 1967 final scene as the second to last scene. 1967 Tomorrowland at Disneyland was such a perfect execution of the concept, unlike the half-abandoned mess it is today.
