    Like i said before, most golfers will learn something from going back to basics, and these two parts are great to watch. I personally like the red dot connection between ball and club, i tried it the other day, and it made my ball striking so much better! thanks Phil, keep the videos coming!!

      Absolutely Dan, it never hurts to go back to basics once in a while. Really pleased you enjoyed the visualisation of connecting the red dots, this is a great way to focus on the task in a simple way that the subconscious can also clearly understand! Stay tuned, more videos coming!

    After purchasing the book last night along with watching your RUclips channel, I have finally found a swing that suits me 🙏 I practised hitting 100 balls this morning with a 9iron.... boy oh boy that sound and feeling of the ball zooming. 10 fluffed ones out of 100 that's all good with me. Thank you guys I'm grateful, sticking with Easiest swing. Blessings from New Zealand.

    Hi, new here...I connected the dots, feels good, is it normal that hands come apart on downswing.. I'm holding club about a three..ty

    • @philipsparks8351
      @philipsparks8351 11 месяцев назад +2

      I wouldn’t get too hung up on this - trust the genius of your hands they will work it all out as you go along. It is good that you have the awareness this is happening. For practice (even without a club in your hands) put your awareness into the sensation of keeping those two dots together throughout the whole swing even at a three out of ten pressure. See what that feels like and ask yourself what has to change to make that happen? Great question thanks!

    Bought the original easiestswing book, decided to try the swing just today, watched some RUclips vids re the swing and went out and pretty much used it today. Turned out pretty darn good re swings from driver to irons, mostly straight. One thing I kept pushing a little with a wee bit of fade, did that off the tee box for 60% of the time. Any suggestions on how to start correcting that shot shape in particular? OverallI will pursue this swing, much more relaxing less technical and overall much more enjoyable experience! Big Big thanks!
    Lovingly

      Hi Wayne glad you are finding Easiest Swing …..easy! Good news and welcome on board. Hope you’ll consider joining our Club so you can join our community of like minded golfers. As far as your issue re pushing to the right, just consider that through impact the toe of the club overtakes the heel, once you get this working your shots will straighten up - the good news is this will also equate to around an extra 7mph of (free) clubhead speed.

    Hi Phil, would you be so kind as to tell your viewers the average distance you are getting with that 5 wood and that relaxed swing? I don’t know if I am getting any decent distance with my 5 and 7 woods. Thanks for the video.

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Richard when I demonstrate this learner swing I expect the wedge to go about 80 yards the 6 iron about 130 and the 5 wood about 180. I merely want to demonstrate how much power there is in a free swinging club. Most learners feel they have to impart more effort than necessary and end up losing power as a result.

      @Easiestswing  11 месяцев назад

      Hi glad you like our channel. Here is a video which shows the ball position with a driver. Where I put a tee peg is where I would play every iron from 7 to wedges. Every other club sit progressively between those two points. Hope that helps. ruclips.net/video/qTiTllzyOk4/видео.htmlsi=yOmb-sLyTSdCL1Td

    • @Easiestswing

  • @EricJD1966

    Hi Phillip, what do you feel starts the movement of the club in the backswing? What bodypart(s) ?

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Eric this is such a great question! Consequently I posed it to all our coaches so I’d like to summarise their thoughts.
      Thinking of one body part to start the swing can be dangerous especially if you have got too static in the set up (this is a really common problem) we recommend keeping a light hold on the club and a bit of a waggle to reduce tension and aid a free movement into the backswing. Relaxed wrists are going to be important so they gradually start to hinge. Avoid any thought of one point in your body pushing away but if you make sure you are turning especially in your hips and shoulders and transferring your weight just let the rest happen naturally. An example would be if you hit a nail with a hammer would you think anything beyond just moving the hammer and letting all the other movements happen naturally? our latest video discusses a couple of thoughts in this regard - take a look ruclips.net/video/8VmIi9E7pzU/видео.htmlsi=7bKUXchD9UBjTP-E

    I am 78 and trying to do your method of swing every club the same and let the club do the work. But today I practiced with pw,9, and 8 iron. I put the exact same swing on each club and basically they all went the same distance. Why?

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Bob apologies I answered this question to your previous post. However, I feel I would still explore wrist action first as the solution to both issues.

  • @zendog000

    Hi Phillip I really love the fundamentals re easiest swing. For short patches of time (3 or 4 holes) I hit the ball sweeter and straighter than ever. Then a ‘cancer’sets in and everything gets dragged left and low. What to do?

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  11 месяцев назад +2

      Sounds like a concentration issue. Suggest you play a challenge that divides the course up into six sets of three holes. Make each set a match against the par of the course take your handicap and an extra shot on each three holes and see if you can win 2&1 or 3-0 then start a fresh match each set. It may just give you a refresh after each set and keep you on track. Sounds like you are making progress but need some patience and slightly lower your expectations and you will be fine. Good luck 🤞

    Hi Phillip I dug out my old starter set of clubs and started the basics of your teachings and I have a question. When I am practicing the dance movement back and forth everything feels good but I'm pretty much upright then I address the ball and I need to bend over to reach the ground and it's messing up my movements. Do you have any suggestions please and thank you! Larry

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  2 месяца назад

      Hi Larry yes indeed once you learn LDG in the upright position try a little tilt, try varying this until you get to a point where you could play with the minimum tilt you can manage. I’m sure you will find with that practice and a more upright posture you will find the sweet spot!

    Hi Philip, I have a question: the practice swing with the driver is going well, I swing calmly and with less tension. As soon as I want to hit the ball, there is a lot tension, I pull my arms in (ending with a chickenwing) and mostly I have poor shots. What can I do best to get rid of this annoying habit? Regards, Giel

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  Месяц назад +2

      Hi Giel - however far you normally hit your driver pick a point half way there and take some full but slower swings and attempt to hit half way. Make sure you have a full backswing and a full follow through and see what happens. I think you’ll be surprised!

    How loose or tight should the club be held?

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  3 дня назад +1

      It’s best to experiment with different levels on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the tightest. Start by trying to discover your existing level and then try reducing it down and see how it works at lower numbers. There is no set number we should try to achieve, after all we are all different but you may find that a you can continue over months and even years to continue to lower that number. Good luck! 👍

      There are too many missing factors here to be able to comment. Need at least ball speed, club speed, launch angle and the specs of the driver you are using. Would also want to know handicap, age and build too. If you can get these specs please start a new discussion.

    Can this really work after 30+ years of bad lessons, tips, swing changes, and countless hours of practice on the range? I sincerely want to hear YES - but - even after purchasing the golfing wisdom of Tommy Armour, Jack Nicklaus, and Moe Norman (via Graves Golf), along with a plethora amount of swing aids - N-O-T-H-I-N-G - has worked for very long. I cannot think of anything else I have spent so much money on to achieve so little. However, occasionally, I achieve a small degree of consistency - or - a great shot - or - a good round - and - I then decide to keep opening the wallet? I mean - even a blind squirrel gets a nut every once in a while. Regardless of my whining over a 1st world issue, I will have a good look at this and let you know!

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Think of this as being less a switch (ie on or off) but more a dial 0-100 as you progress with this you will find your effort and ease will come down from a high starting point gradually down the scale. You will find our message is consistent and each part connects with the next. Step by step your game will improve, your effort will reduce and your consistency will improve. I’d suggest getting the Positive Impact Golf book and in a few weeks’ time the follow up book The Easiest Swing in Golf will be published. What we can help you to do is have direction and stop flip flopping from one idea to the next. Once you build some confidence in this come and join our club where we can personalise our advice and you can join hundreds of other golfers who are all at various stages on this journey and who will help support you. The great thing with this is it never stops - I have played at scratch for fifty plus years and am still seeing improvement by following Brian’s ideas. Welcome on board!!
