  • I had ANOTHER FAB session PLAYING WITH/TRYING OUT my new stencils.
It's always such a pleasure seeing what happens when you apply paint to a set of stencils you have just purchased.
Why not watch to see which you like best.
    PAINTS USED
LIQUITEX BASICS - LIGHT BLUE PERMANENT
ART STUDIO PREMIUM - PALE OLIVE
PLEASE NOTE:- I PURCHASED THIS SET OF STENCILS FROM EBAY (U.K.) A FEW MONTHS AGO - THE STENCILS ARE NOW OUT OF STOCK/DISCONTINUED

I bought the stencils from eBay that you linked in your last video, they are great and very good value. Enjoyed watching this video surprised at the price of that lovely green acrylic from The Range, I’ll have to have a look in the local store. I really liked the diamonds print, they were all interesting showing the difference on each colour put down. Thanks! 😊

oooooo so pleased you were able to get the stencils, just like the green acrylic..... good value for money IMHO. So happy to help, hope you will enjoy more of my videos - lots more scheduled for the coming weeks/months 😊

Before you give up on the stencils you’re not fond of, try using rice paper, deli paper or carnival wet strength tissue. Often the lighter weight papers are much better for getting into the small stencil openings. Regardless, you have some very pretty papers here. I love the color combination s!

Thank you for your very valid comments, I totally agree. In one of my videos I do mention the fact that using tissue paper/ deli paper etc will do a much better job of getting into the cut out areas of the stencils. I think that's why you see a lot of other videos using softer paper for this purpose. In this video I tried to be consistent with the paper I used just to see how the stencils "performed" using copy paper which most people will have plenty of. I am so grateful for you making this point as I feel it's very important. It has given me an idea for a future video showing the difference between copy paper and tissue paper for getting into those "difficult" cut out areas of a stencil. Thank you once more I am very grateful to you 😊

Thank you for your very kind comments - much appreciated. I have already filmed what I did with the prints and it's scheduled in a few weeks time. I feel that it's important to give out ideas as to what you can do with your Gelli Plate prints...... otherwise you end up knee deep in paper LOL. Thank you once more 😊

Thank you. I couldn't agree more to your statement "nice papers but then what?" Well hopefully I'll be providing the .... "then what". Well at least some of it ! 😊
