Thanks for the good review!! . I just got my Huion H950p and so far it's too good to be true, at first the jump from 1048 to 8192 levels of pressure is really hard to get used to and even if the drivers have some minor bugs like not detecting my tablet it's just rebooting the software and everything works just fine. Thanks!!

@@issac9 well it depends on your budget, if you're after something free, there are programs like Krita
Personally I use Photoshop CC which is subscription based software though but that's just what I'm used to

Hello! I'm planning to get this as my first tablet and I've been wondering how well it would work for a first tablet and if they had anymore downsides. Also aaaaa i love that painting It looks so lovely 😊
I believe this could work really well as a beginner's tablet considering it's size and features. And especially even now with its new ability to connect to Android devices so you can draw on your phone or even tablets I believe.
Just be aware that you may come across bugs you could have to troubleshoot if you're working with new Windows 10 updates and Photoshop CC 2019

How do you set up the drawing space for the tablet? I got one for Christmas and I've set up the tablet and computer.
As in on your desk? I have things setup on my dinning table at home with the tablet set in front of my laptop. Other than that its jst setup in front of my keyboard on my work desk space
What you got a bag with yours!? i got two comepletely non functional otg adapters and no bag just some weird polystylene sleeve it came in. would have loved to get a bag with it, im currently trying to get it to work correctly with my linux system but after that i can finally get into digital art! also i really loved the wolf drawing you did for this video.
Is this device can help me to create online video lecture for my channel ? I am using my phone to create video lecture on youtube in landscape mode but the screen of mobile is small so that I can 't write 3-4 lines in my page . I want to buy this beacuse I will get more space to write anything with pen .

Hi! Loved your drawing. One question, how do you do to move the drawing? I noticed that you moved the front leg and part of the head while you were drawing. I didn't know about that feature hehe

Hi I got this Tablet and it started working so well bur after a couple of moths it started detecting wrong the pressure like if I was making a lot of pressure when the pencil wasn't even touching teh screen Dores anyone how to solve this? I think that the pencil is broken
Which one would u recommend..Huion h950p or Huion WH1409?
Well I have yet to use the WH1409 myself but both look like viable options, its totally based on your preference.
If you like the idea of the wireless tablet and don't mind having to plug it in to charge it after 40ish hours of use, than the WH1409 is great. Otherwise I've loved and never had an issue with my H950p

The buttons can be programmed to use the keyboard shortcut keys for zooming in and out of a canvas
I use those as well as the shortcuts for 100% zoom and fit to view but that's my personal preference :)

Hi! I want to buy my first drawing tablet, but I honestly don't know a thing about it. I'm not sure if you will still see this after such a long time, but would you still recommend this tablet for a beginner or would one of the newer Huion versions be better? I know they have a few newer models but I really have no clue what to look at when looking for a tablet
Hey all good, well I only have experience with this tablet in recent years and I still use it to this day so can definitely still recommend it for beginners. It's had a couple upgrades since my review like android device compatibility so it's even had increase in value. Basically I'd consider choosing a device that can fit on your desk in a comfortable way and not interfere with your keyboard reach, so this could be the perfect size or you might find one bigger that can work. Bigger tablet typically equals a more comfortable range of motion for your wrist

Hi! I have your same tablet, however i find lines to be somehow "jagged" and shaky.. What could i do for it?
Also, how you would compare it with intuos s 2018?
I use a paid-for plugin to help with my line work in Photoshop called Lazy Nezumi Pro.

It helps smooth out the shakiness that can happen digitally and offers a lot of different other tools as well to help with shapes, perspective etc.
And I did had a Wacom Intuos Draw prior to this tablet and I must say there was a big improvement in control and comfortable experience. Bigger is better when it comes to helping loosen yourself and your wrist up for sure :)

I would like to buy "HUION H950P" or "HUION new 1060 Plus" Graphic Tablet.
Which one would be the best ?
I have no experience with the 'HUION New 1060 Plus' so I personally cannot recommend a tablet I have never used. But I've loved each Huion tablet I've gotten so far so I believe both would be great. It's all dependent on what features you are personally after, your budget etc.
From what I can tell with a quick glance though, the new 'HUION H950P' is compatible with android devices - so you can draw on your phone or tablet - while the 'HUION New 1060 Plus' is not so there's that as a main point of difference.

You're definetly trying to plug it in to a usb port correct? And try flipping the plug over, you might just be inserting it upside-down

Can you confirm Huion Inspiroy H950P works with Adobe illustrator?
Im getting it because my Huion Q11K doesnt work with adobe properly. The brush doesnt detect pressure, wont draw properly and is laggy. I even tried installing wacom driver and reinstalling huion driver as a hack that some suggested; still didnt work.
You definitely adjusted the settings with illustrators brush to register your different levels of pressure correct? Cuz off the top of my head it doesn't do it naturally
@@TrixksIllustration I did. I made a brush with pressure sensitivity. The problem is that the brush itself doesn't even register properly. If I try to write a "H" for example, it draws the left vertical line but then won't register the horizontal line to connect. It's buggy.
@@SteversIO I personally don't draw in Adobe Illustrator with a pen tablet as I don't like the ease of use so I can only go off what I've read on the Amazon listing Q&A:

Naw thank you so much, not sure I could teach what I know very well at this point but I do have plans for more tutorials/skillshare classes in the future. I do have a DesignDoll/Anatomy Reference tutorial available on here and skillshare but that's it atm. Just a matter of finding the time and knowing how to break down my experience into steps will determine what and when my next tutorial will be

The newest version I believe does come with the ability to be used on android devices yes, would double check the listing as I'm not sure if it reliant on a new cable or just installing software

I clicked on this video because I thought it was a tutorial and I have everything set up but I cannot find out where to draw on because I have both of the apps/software but I cannot find where is the actual drawing software is
1. On the Huion website, you install the latest drivers for the device you have.
2. Once installed, open the Huion Tablet control panel (icon will be sitting on your desktop or in your 'hidden icons') when your device is plugged in via usb.
3. Make sure under the 'Work Area' the 'Current Display' is set to the monitor you want to use. when you move your pen over the device, it should mimic on screen.
4. Open the Photoshop or other painting software you want to use.
5. Start drawing with your device and it should pick up on the canvas in the painting software.

In what way are you unsure how it works? This is a Graphics Tablet that connects to your computer via usb and after installing the drivers, you can use the pen to draw on the device more naturally in the artist program you're using instead of using a mouse
@@TrixksIllustration how I gonna know where my pen will draw . If I make a sketch and I have to add a tree in the sketch so how I will know where I have to put the pen to draw the tree at a favourable place in the sketch? Please tell
@@anujsarvang433 it takes time and practice but you have to train yourself to look only at the computer screen when you draw and focus on where the on screen mouse moves where you have your pen in the device, you jst have to practice is all I can say ^^'

@@anujsarvang433 its totally dependent on the individual person ^^' it'll take varying time for different people to adapt, its jarring at first but you just gotta keep at it if its something you want to do :)

Might have been where you bought it from? I got mine from Amazon.
Then again this review is rather old now so they might have stopped adding the bag addition

Well its been a while since I reviewed this tablet and its gone through an upgrade since with the ability to use with your android phone...
But I still have it and still love it. It depends on your budget and what you're after, this bigger size is potentially better for your wrist and arm movement and the price range is great for beginners

@@selection01 no issues I've experienced, as long as you uninstall any other device drivers sitting on your computer before you plug in or install your new device

A variety of different digital art programs work (Krita, Clip Studio etc.) 😁 doesn't have to be Photoshop

@@TrixksIllustration It's what I call them sorry. Drawing tablets is the right name. Shakespeare is a cheaper brand of fishing gear that out performs a lot of high brand gear.
Do you have to look at a computer screen to see what your drawing? Cause that’s just really annoying to me.
Yes, with these tablets you typically ONLY look at the computer screen, if you look where you're drawing on the tablet itself, you'll quickly make a mess on screen and it will probably never work out the way you want it to
Its just a reality of using a cheaper drawing tablet. Drawing Display Monitors (drawing directly on the screen) are typically more expensive in general and what digital artists will upgrade to after learning on a tablet for a while
