The s22 is actually really easy to overpower. I trail ride with mine. I have had many cutouts in a variety of situations. My honest take is that these devices are just not there yet, a few more years, and they will be solid. But for now, we must ride with safety margine in mind to be easy on acceleration, especially when we are going at speed. My most common cutout is acceleration or trying to gain torque when initially climbing a hill, and sometimes when landing jumps as well. In addition the beeps are useless in no time have I ever cutout a wheel have they been effective, im typically already into the forth roll rotation on the ground as im hearing them.
@JustFacts85042 could be the 40t you have. I was one of the first to get a production model. Has the Samsung 50 batteries I'm sure and they do suffer from voltage sag.

Unicycle is always centered forward to speed like that, and the power is turned off. If that happens.. 1. Falling => Hit the ground from your knees. (The most important first) 2. My palms sweep as I touch the ground with my palms. 3. Next, watch your face and chin. 4. Breaks the ribs and sides of the chest. 5. Foot => Be careful of the top of your feet and ankles. (Thick socks should be worn)
Idk how this 3300W older version, but Pro model is awesome. I'm using it more for trails and offroads but sometimes for city ride too, and never experienced any cutouts, even beeps. But i'm not riding fast - avg around 40, max around 60 km/h, so plenty of headroom till factory limit (70) and freespin speed (around 110). Never heard beeps when lean in any speed 😊 But yeah, for accelerarion and high speed riding, i would go for begode. I think the S22 is more about torque and in lower speeds maaaan it feels like it have infinite amount of power 🚀. Yesterday on a really steep offroad hill cca 30° i lean like A LOT in speed around 10 km/h and in no time i was at almost 30 and app says that i had still 35% safety margin, LIKE WHAAAAT? 😂😂. Also, the weight of rider should be considered in riding style. Heavier ones should have smoother accelerations and brakings 😊. Anyway cheers and stay safe.
Been riding s22 over a year and no cutouts. I don’t heavy lean to accelerate. More bend knees and lift heels. That may be difference. Even s18 only had a cutout once going uphill being “dumb” and pushing too hard.
I had S18, was thinking about to get S22 since it was out for so long, but after second though, I finally bought my first Begode Master with 40T battery, so far it is so fun to ride, so much power and torque, my S18 send me to kiss the ground once, that is why I am so worry that will happen in S22, anyway enough of my own story, have fun and have a safe ride out there bro.
@JustFacts thanks for the info, I think most likely my cutoff on S18 is I am still new to EUC back then, I should not push it so hard with out even knowing it's limit, but the S22 is going to be one of my EUC collection. 👍
Glad you’re ok. Was kinda funny in slow motion motion. Your friends were just watching you crash ! 😅 glad your ok man ! Hope you’re still wheeling around !
I’m not a rider but it looked like you leaned beyond the euc’s ability to go fast enough to keep you from falling over the front. I couldn’t hear any beeping warnings either.
Nearly cut out my T4 on the first day of owning it. Pedals dipped at 35mph but I managed to ride it out. Had pwm beeps set to 90% so it didn't even beep until after it dipped
Was just curious. Did the wheel have time to even beep? And approx what was your rolling speed? Just curious if it cut out due to the controller holding the motor back, as it does. Or if it was just a normal overlean. I feel like this wheel SHOULD have the power to hold up under that kind of stress. But kingsong just messed up when making that moba...
Then Begode also messed up with the Ex30. I just saw a cut out video with the Ex30. The guy wasn't even going that fast. And he is much lighter than I am. The controller is fine on the S22. The EUC technology in general, cannot keep up on what we expect a wheel can do. Any wheel can cut out, if you accelerate to fast. I weight over 220 pounds and even Begode wheels will cut out under my weight. That's why I usually accelerate very gently on any wheel.
Be careful out there. Just today I'm so lucky that my V13 gave my a weird fault error for a long power button press. On my way to work. Had to call an Uber. Rode in the rain the other day. And water got in the power display a bit. Good thing I have a Electronic Vac to blow out the water.
Got home tonight. And powered on the wheel. Its at 95%. Diagnostics check green, and I turned off the enter passcode off. I don't want my wheel to be locked up if I need to connect to the bluetooth immediately. Stay safe out here. Because cars won't
Your bodyweight is way to high for the s22. Has nothing to do with the wheel. Either loose weight or get a much more stronger wheel tough. Why nobody talks about this relevant indue at all? The relation between bodyweight and wheel power. I have 90kg full gear weight and never had had a cutout on the s22. And I ride insane.
No bodyweight is good. I think cold battery and motor cuase the cut out. On a summer day I could really torque the S22. The S22 definitely lacks power compared to my Veteran Patton. Both have similar specifications, but Patton power is insane.
To prevent that happening to you feel the wheel... before every cutout you feel how the sensors give the wheel free... also in the video you can see that... if you get up soon enough the wheel has a chance not to cutout... but if you keep on leaning the physics will get ya... ❤ride hard stay safe gruuuzzzz and nice weekend

Oh and by the way, granted there's always someone recording. But I have noticed that during group rides people ride in a way they don't normally. And thus, end up eating it while showing off on camera. It has one wheel people. Theres no way to recover from over lean. So don't do it. There's no reasonable scenario to do so. STOOOOOPPP! STOP IT! It's your fault. Not the car not the EUC. You've gone beyond the limits of the machine. It's on you.
One can argue that the wheel should have a better controller for stronger output so's its much harder to overtorque/lean the wheel. But ultimately its up to the rider to understand & be sitware of their machines limits. IMO this particular episode is totally rider failure. If one wants to full send hard everywhere, get a different wheel ala ex30. Being an owner I would know as I full send it everywhere all day. Cant get it to beep nevermind whatever else
