    "Whoa. Looks like we have a productive hive. Can't imagine there's not a queen in there." Loved that moment. Nice work. Must have been a great feeling, especially since it meant recovering some from your prior losses.

    Oh, ok. Did you introduce a frame with open brood in the trap hive, so they could have raised a new one from that?
    I'm trying to evaluate my chances of getting a swarm complete with a queen out of a wall using this Cleo Hogan trap method.

      I did not add any live brood. I just put in some old comb.

    Did you manage to get the Queen from the hive in the wall!?

      Anna Flendrig I have not tried real hard to spot her but I have found brood.

    window screen not the best for funnel. 1/8 mesh is best.

      Yeah, the funnel looks like its been run over by a truck
