😂 wings are not going after goalie
The Wings don't need a goalie. They have one of the highest scoring offenses in the league. Lyon and Reimer have both been lights out. Husso is healing up quick. Plus they are still building Cossa into a franchise goalie with the Griffins. Also, I literally lol'd when he mentioned Ned. You know the wings already had Ned right? He was the streakiest tender I have ever seen and an absolute liability.
When it comes to the playoffs, historically the highest scoring teams drop drastically in scoring rate. I love Lyon and think he can lead the wings back to the promised land. #Yzerplan

What kind of take is this, we need a fourth/fifth goalie? Alex Lyon is ranked 16th overall at 2.69 gaa, not top ten but nowhere near the bottom. And more importantly Detroit wins with him.

I think the Wings would rather get a #3 defenseman or a top six winger to round out Larkin, Raymond, Compher, Kane, Debrincat.
But whatever they do I don't think Yzerman will give up much for the first year back in the playoffs.
These 3 stooges definitely didnt look into Detroit’s goaltenders. Alex Lyon is pretty damn solid behind a porous defense. We need a lockdown defensemen. Wings have definitely taken the next step. There’s is an aura of confidence here. I think they could beat any team in a 7 game series.
We do too! We think they can, but we have a little more concern about Lyon with the chips on the table than some others. Rooting for the Wings no matter who they play.
No, the Wings don't need a goalie. A good number of teams in the last 5 seasons have done great, even won the cup in the playoffs with unproven or mid goaltending. DET needs a top 4 shutdown d-man to pair with Ghost. True defence is DET's weakest area.
